I love Oakdale! Being a single mom its hard to come across a school that has a flexible schedule and caring staff! The price is reasonable and they are fully open with their policy, menu, and curriculum. Its frustrating have a child who falls under the age limit for public school, but having a school like Oakdale has assured me she is still gaining the same skills and knowledge she would if she was in public school. I also love how she is learning bible based teaching. My child loves the Lord and has questions about God and all he does for us! She talks to Him like He is one of her friends which is GREAT! The summer program is awesome as well! Tons of affordable field trips. Im glad I made the choice to let my child attend here. People who have issues with this school on rate based on their personal misfortunes or issues. At the end of the day this is a business and we all know that it operates based on the income they receive. The quality and care of the staff is great....some people just dont know their kids act like boo boo the fool at school!

My son has been at Oakdale Private School since he was three months old. He is now 14 months and 3 weeks. I have found another family within the staff at Oakdale. Each day when I drop him off the staff is very warming and welcoming to my son. They make me feel like they genuinely care about his development and well - being.I am a single mother relatively new to Houston, and they have made our transition a little easier. Being in retail sales, I can run into some crazy hours. Oakdale allows me to work as hard as I can while knowing my son is getting quality care. I appreciate the school as well as its loyal staff! Keep up the great work guys!

My 2 year old is currently enrolled in Oakdale and she loves it! She is now potty trained and knows her ABCs and shes only been there 2 weeks. I work some crazy hours and I feel comfortable knowing my daughter is well taken care of and learning. Thank you Oakdale Staff! :)

My kids have been going to Oakdale for over two years. The teachers are great. I work 11.5 hours a day, six days a week, and my kids are fed breakfast,lunch,dinner, and snacks. They have also assisted in potty training. Anytime I have concerns, they are addressed and corrected. Overall, my experience is wonderful. Thanks Oakdale

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL!!! CHOOSE ANOTHER DAY CARE!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT!!The front staff is so rude, unprofessional, and lazy. I tried to give them a fair chance. They create a negative vibe at the door. They sit around and gossip all the time which is not comforting. I should feel comfortable dropping my child off but all I have felt is eyes looking me up and down instead of warm greetings. They discuss your business out loud by yelling it across the lobby area, instead of pulling you aside to address you and only you. They get cursed out all the time because of this. There have been several fights at this daycare. IT IS NOT SAFE! Anything can escalate there and the staff enjoys it. UNPROFESSIONAL!! On top of that rudeness:-Two of my daughters backpacks were ruined- A brand new sweater with the tag still attached was stolen-My daughter got sick 3 times from something that was served there- They tried to cheat me out of money which was given back to me after speaking with the owner- 3 injuries (the final one was a headinjury)- My daughter told me at least 2 teachers hit her (one teacher denied it first then said it was an accident)- They try to force you into purchasing party supplies for their employees, which should not be our responsiblityWhen I would confront them about these issues they would instantly push the blame back on me instead of showing any kind of concern or care. When she got sick it was something she ate somewhere else, meanwhile other students was experiencing diarrhea at this time. I asked other parents! When her sweater was stolen, I should have put her name in it. When her backpacks was ruined, We dont know what the condition was. When it came to the injuries there was numerous stories given which led me to believe they didnt know what really happened, which is very disturbing. After being upset about it, the director who ALWAYS has a bad attitude tries to tell me to sign a paper about the final incident. I declined and asked to speak to Greg (the owner) she said, No, he does not have anything to say to you about it. I asked her how the hell did she know? She didnt like that and said your kid cant come back...my daughter was already being enrolled in another daycare. This experience was awful!! If the owner AND the employees do not care about our children, THEY SHOULD NOT ATTEND THIS DAYCARE. BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY!

My Grandson, Brandon, has gone here for a few weeks. He loves it! No electronics, he plays board games and basketball and does his homework - awesome!!! He learned a new prayer he was excited to tell me when I picked him up. Love this place. And check the rating that Texas posts for Day Care - their are extremely high. Great place!!

My kids love going to this day care. My son was 6 months old and my daughter was 2 years old when they started oakdale, Ive never had a problem with the staff and the teachers just love my kids...I dont change my daycare for nothing, because I love the way the teachers get to know my kids. I trust this daycare...

MONEY HUNGRY SCAMMERS! My family and I were victims of the flooding disaster. The daycare was closed Monday and Tuesday. I had no way to go to daycare for the entire week. I asked if I could have my fees waived for this week due to the fact my daughter would not be attending at all this week because of my flooded out car. I WAS DENIED. The owner said what he could do was allow my child stay longer for no additional fees. I advised we have no transportation to get there for any hours all week. He said that was my own problem and his staff is suffering hours being lost due to the fact there are no children coming to daycare. He then hung up phone. The worst experience I have ever encountered . This gentlemen took unprofessional to the next level.

Love it! My baby has been at Oakdale since she was two and she is note 5 and just graduated from pre k 2 with ms.Markeshia! I love how they keep the bible apart of their teaching. Ive never had a problem with this school and any concerns Ive had are always taken care of. This is the first and only daycare and school my daughter has ever been to. I live the office staff and Nadia are everything. In not sure where the nasty comments are coming from but Ive never experienced any of the things being said. Not everyday you can find somewhere that your child is actually learning both school and bible.

I love Oakdale, the hours are great for me. In the past they were open 24 hours and working in dialysis this is hard to come by. When they changed their hours I was in panic concerned about my job. In a haste I felt I had to change schools and did and it was the worst experience, after 4 months I came back and wished I wouldnt have left. My son started at 15 months and he is now 3. I personally have not had any unprofessional experiences but I have seen many parents behaving in way unbecoming of a parent in the presence of children. I plan to keep my little one there through their 2nd grade program.

Yesterday May 15, 2017 I dropped my daughter off at Oakdale private school and there was 20 or more students in the class this was at 8:05am. The teacher over the children said you can sit her anywhere she will be alright. Then I go in the classroom a child opens the restroom door and out comes a child and the male janitor. This is not Acceptable. Janitors are supposed to work before little children get there are after they leave. I see something wrong with men working with little children that are learning to talk .Another thing they need more teachers that want to teach cuz my daughter is smart but if u dont challenge her mind shes going to get into mischief . I also witness a boy about to pull his pants down when a teacher walked out of a classroom.Im writing this message cuz I email them they did not respond . I called ask director if she got my email she told me no

My son gets excellent care from the staff and over all its a great place to have your kids in.

This school incompetent staff! Twice in 2 weeks i showed up and my baby was not covered up and he was in the fetal position when i arrived. they said that they will check with the previous teacher on why the my baby was not covered but i see it as if the child is in everyones care then i should not show up and he is uncovered. Keep in mind the daycare is 620 a month and they require a cover in the kids bag for that reason. And when i find out that i pay 620 for my son to go to a daycare where they do not take care of the child i get pissed.

I havent had any issues with Oakdale at all. They communicate very well with me. My 5 year old daughter has been coming here since she was 2 and my 10 month old started when she was about 3 months old. I feel very welcome and the staff treats my daughters very well! I trust them with watching my kids. ALL of the teachers I have delt with there are excellent, but I want to give a shout out to my 5 year olds teacher Ms. Markeshia! lol She is hands down the best teacher there! I would definitely recommend Oakdale to everyone I know.

.............MONEY HUNGRY SCAMMERS!! The owner kicked my foster child out of the daycare because I refused to pay for something that NCI had already paid for, swiping a card. Why would you charge someone $75.00 for not swiping a card. After talking to NCI and CPS her daycare was paid in full and the card has nothing to do with his daycare. She enrolled in another and they couldnt believe that the owner was charging parents. BEWARE OF THIS DAYCARE

Great teaching environment great teachers but stay after the owner about there staff he allows alit of young people who work there with no experience in childcare and a lot of children complain about being abused.theres a open investigation on this daycare because,my child hit his face on a metal pole No one contacted me to seek medical attention and. My son ended up with a,concusion that week alone it there was several accidents. At times the staff can be very negligent with those children which will cost him and his wife there licence,dont get me wrong there are some great employees there the daycare is good but the owner is very rude not caring at all to others and there family and tries to make excuses to excuse the terrible behavior of a lot of his employees that work there again without any experience or patience for children, and yes he charges you for everything at this daycare even,to verify attendance for kids to attend there and also states he does not have to accept nci but factor of the matter is majority of his business is probably successful through nci thank you ....

I didnt even want to put my son here but I did so he can learn more but seems like he havnt learned anything except negative behavior and always saying booboo head. People up there act as if they are better than someone and dont have good customer service skills to run a day care.. The night front desk lady is rude.Furthermore, they let my son get hurt and didnt let me know about it and pretend as they didnt see it then the next day he comes home his leg is hurting where he is waking up in the middle of the night crying.. Please be ware they will wait until the last minute to tell u about your child and everybody act as if they dont have a clue whats going on.My 3 year old son comes home telling me how kids are picking on him and the afternoon teacher is mean to him. Not only that they always losing my son stuff from shoes, jackets and one time his cover. They dont care they dont do anything about anything you tell them.My son only been there for 3 months and we have been through hell and back. If you dont know the staff or on NCi I recommend not putting your child him because u will not be treated equally or with care and trust me they dont make you feel welcome except for a week.I wish the old staff was there she was way better than the new staff and I only know this because I was going to put my son there before but I didnt like how you have to stay there for them to eat the food you bring them or how they have lunch and if your child miss it then u have to stay there and eat it with them as if parents dont have to work....I would go on and on about this school as you can see I am not the only one saying my child has been abused here and when you asked them about the cameras they say its only live recording to wear no parent can actually watch their child or see what happened to their child the school is private alright.Just liars, abusers and scammers. They also allow bullying and say they teach the kids not to, but seems as if the kids bully my son right in my face and i literally have to talk to them if its not in his class its in the cafeteria during late night. I almost dont ever wont to put my son in private school again after my experience

A teacher hit my 3 year old son in the stomach for crying after he fell down. This school has traumatized him for going to any school. Do not send your kids here.

The people in the front office are so rude and they see you less then. not helpful at all the night supervisor was there she talked so ghetto with that alone was enough for me to know it was not a good fit ✌🏼

The Director has a nasty attitude. Does not know how to talk to parents.
