I am a grad student and needed to learn to translate German as part of my departmental requirements. GISs Angelika Schmidt fashioned an intensive summer course with Dr. Richard Spuler, an emeritus professor at Rice, that met my needs and fit my schedule. After putting in the work I was able to pass the departments translation exam with flying colors. I highly recommend it!
