Were do I start? Going to A1 trucking school was one of the best things I ever did for my future. Everything is hands on and the teachers there will show you everything from the start. I came in with zero experience and by the end of school I was able to confidently pass my test and drive a commercial vehicle. Edgar really helped me get my driving down perfectly and Ron helped me with my air brakes and pre-trip to the point were I was able to do it with my eyes closed. I just passed my CDL class A exam at the DMV in Fremont. A-1 Trucking Driving School Inc made something that’s not easy, seem easy. You are expected to act professional while studying at the school, and this cuts down on wasted time for you and others studying. This is an awesome school. Under Paul Ron and Edgar expert tutelage they will give you all the tools you will need for you to acquire your Commercial Drivers license. I had a great experience and learned all I needed and more to pass my DMV Pre trip Air breaks and on road test with flying colors.

A1 provided me with the tools required at a competitive rate in order to speed through my process within a month. I do not find my experience to be typical, but you get what you put into it sho it could be. If you show up, study and are about your business then this is an excellent program. If you are after a second chance at high school and community college, dont blame anyone but yourself for failing the test.

It was definitely worth coming to the school, they work around my schedule I was allowed to come on Saturdays and towards my test I was able to come for a full week and practiced on the trucks. I have gotten my Class A license through A-1. The whole process here was smooth and meticulously planned out. Paul was fair with me and my limited availabilities. I was given priorities on practicing my skills due to my lack of availabilities. There was also no delay with Paul. Once I got my Permit to drive, hehad gotten me signed up for the drive test. The DMV tests are planned out 2 months in advance so I am glad there was no delay in signing up for the behind the wheel driving test. Overall this school was a great experience and made a stressful long process quiet smooth.

A-1 Trucking is a phenomenal school. I came from Southern California in order to attend this school and I was not disappointed. I had attended a different school in the past and had a terrible experience trying to learn. While here at A-1, Ron was very patient and extremely helpful through every step of the learning process. Based on everything this past year with Covid and other things that were out of anyone’s control, I would like to say Paul gave me extra time to complete my training before my test date which I really appreciate. The in class instructors, Ron and Edgar, are both awesome at their job. They are very knowledgeable, straightforward and they get down to the point right away. The other driving instructor, also named Edgar is also great at his job. He’s laid back, yet attentive with the way you drive on the street.Some people have said the instructors are mean, but with my own experience I’ve noticed that their not being mean, they’re being strict. You need thick skin while operating these machines because if you’re seen making a big mistake while driving, they will get you out of the driver’s seat and they will help you correct the mistake.
