GradePower was recommended to us by another parent in my daughters class. She had been struggling with multiple concepts and we knew we needed additional help. GP has been amazing for her. They start by doing a very thorough evaluation of learning strengths and challenges. This helps to guide our wonderful tutor, Ms. Kimberly, on what areas to work with my daughter. They also work on homework or school questions as needed. This has been a LIFESAVER. What once was nightly battles and wars to complete 6 math problems is now a breeze thanks to Ms. Kimberly and GP. My son was a fifth grader last year (2020-2021). When the STAAR test result came out I was shocked. He got all MASTER LEVEL on three subjects and he was accepted in the GT program as well. Our son started with Grade Power over six months ago. He struggles academically and we needed to get him help in order to restore his confidence with learning. It has been a process and Grade Power has been a great support in matching teachers with our son based on their talent and/or asking where they would like us to focus their attention. Our son loves going to Grade Power and this makes this easier for us. Additionally, he is also an individual who historically has not done well on the STAAR Test. This year, he had confidence in the possibility of passing and HE DID! The time spent with his independent studying, his teachers, and Grade Power has helped him be successful with this journey.

In several months at Grade Power my 4 year went from having limited alphabet recognition to reading 2 and 3 letter words. My 5 year old started with minimal reading skills and is now reading full sentences and up 5 and 6 letter words!!! It’s definitely been a worthwhile investment having our kids attend Grade Power. Plus the staff is so friendly and helpful and they truly enjoy teaching. Highly recommend!

Best decision I made was to have my son be a part of the tutoring program at GradePower- Frisco!! He took the ACT without the prep course and got a 26. After the prep course w/GradePower, his score increased 3 pts to a 29!! He now gets scholarship $$ to attend college!! My 6 year old has been coming here for a few months now and loves it! When he began he was just starting to sound out words. He is three months in and is actually reading books! Just wanted to recommend Grade Power tutoring for their Little Readers program. My 3 year old has been enrolled for 5 months now and has progressed tremendously. The program is Monday and Wednesday, 3 hours each day. They learn songs about the alphabet, work through workbooks, and make crafts. My daughter loves the tutor and so do I. She is so patient and kind. My daughter gets one on one attention for a reasonable price too. I would highly recommend!

This place is great!! My boys went here for 8 months and their grades and confidence improved. My son is a sophomore in high school as was struggling in some of his core subjects. I signed him up at GradePower Learning in Frisco. Lloyd and Stacy have been wonderful to work with and their tutors are awesome. My son is now more confident and on top of his grades. He has improved greatly in all his subjects. I initially took him for help with Chemistry but they have helped him with each area of his learning for all subjects. They not only worked with him on his grades but took an interest in his learning and made him feel better about himself. I would highly recommend GradePower and plan to use them in the future for SAT and ACT prep for college.

Gradepower is the best decision we made for our child. She has improved so much being in the program grade wise and beyond. We have seen strong improvement in our child since we started grade power. My daughter started below grade level in reading and in 6 months she has progressed to above grade level. My 17 year old was having trouble getting his score up for the SAT. We gave Grade Power a Chance to help him get the score we wanted. We signed up for the 5 week Course and they helped him focus in on his weaknesses and in the end he made the score we wanted. I do believe the Grade Power team is definitely worth the money for such an important test like the SAT. Our Two smaller children are getting routine tutoring and are progressing really well also. The best part is they will customize the tutoring to meet your childs needs.

If we had had Grade Power when our kids were struggling, life would have been far different. The facility was very, very clean, and the set up was very organized. I am very pleased that I entrusted my 16 year-old sons academic tutoring to the people at GradePower Learning in Frisco. My son started in June with a tutor there who had just graduated with full teaching credentials. When he was offered a teaching job with a school district, he had to leave GradePower (hopefully he will be able to come back to tutor once he is well established in his teaching job). We were sad to see him go, as D really responded to his personality and teaching and he actually didnt complain about going (which is saying a lot for him). Lloyd and Stacy searched for another very qualified tutor and found Gene, with whom D gets along very well and knows how to keep him engaged and on track. D actually seems to look forward to his sessions with Gene (again, thats saying a lot for him - a teenager). Lloyd, Stacy and Gene have gone above and beyond to tailor Ds program and put additional time and effort into adjusting it for what he is needing now (as there have been changes) to provide the most effective tutoring program possible. They are warm and caring and truly have a heart for the kids and are dedicated to their success.

They have the best instructors at this location! I had tried different places to get one-on-one for my daughter as she is Dyslexic and ADD. She was struggling in the math portion of the ACT and they were able to lift her score from a 15 to a 25! With this jump adding to her composite score, she was able to get in the college of her choice. Where to start....It started with my son having to go through the summer school starting in June. I realized that my son was going to need a customized one on one assistance for him to at least have a chance. School offered 3 hours per day of classroom assistance. However, with my son, I knew that he was not going to do well with his attention span being so short. It this time, I visited the Powergrade at frisco and although the cost of the program was more than what I was expecting, in order to give my son the fighting chance, i reluctantly started the program. Working with the management, i started to see some changes that I have not seen in my son. He started to care. Although the work that he was doing with one on one with the staff was difficult, he did the work and showed improvements in process. Unfortunately, my son was not able to finish the entire work through the first agreed upon hours that i had purchased, the management wanted to see it through by giving my son some additional hours on the house to make sure that he was ready for the final exam.He finished 38 chapters in 3 weeks to be able to take the final exam and passed. I am grateful that they were able to help my son and in process showed him that everything is possible when he put his mind on the problem on hand.Thanks to the guys at theGradePower.........

GradePower is very different from other tutoring centers. The tutors here are amazing,theyre very passionate about whatever they teach. They always make sure the children revise the stuff and gets the concept before their tutoring session ends. I highly recommend this for all grade levels starting from pre-K to the higher grades.

We put our son in to help give him that extra assistance before the 8th grade math STAAR test. We wanted him to feel confident and secure in his knowledge of math after all the work he put in his first year of middle school. He passed the 8th grade STAAR with flying colors but the most important part was that he wasn’t stressed to take it. I believe the 2 months of Grade Power gave him that extra boost in confidence he needed to approach that test knowing that he had the test in the bag. My son enjoyed working with the 2 tutors assigned to him and was able to create a good rapport with them. The facilities are nice and clean. It has been a great experience working with Mr. Lloyd Moffatt. His communication is clear and concise. The pricing of the tutoring is straightforward and no hidden fees which I appreciate. I like the fact that it isn’t a contract you just have to make sure you are clearly outlining what your expectations are and what the goal is for your child/ren attending Grade Power. They are very flexible with getting students in for make up classes as long as the communication from the parents is done in a reasonable timeframe. It was such a great experience for my family that we decided to stay with them for the summer.

We enrolled our daughter after her 4th birthday. The one thing I would change if I could would be to have enrolled her earlier!!! Mr. Lloyd and Ms. Sonia were PERFECT! They helped our daughter get excited about learning and the curriculum kept her engaged and challenged. She came home after every class excited to share what she had learned and showing off her certificates.We were concerned that she would be behind starting kindergarten as her stay home mom wanted to spend as much time with her as possible so she never attended any pre K or other classes prior to GradePower Learning.When we originally met Mr. Lloyd we expressed that concern. He put us at ease and said that even though she would have only a few months (5-6 I dont remember), he was CONFIDENT in their program and that she would hit kindergarten well prepared.The man lived up to his promise and when she started kindergarten THIS week, she was confident and on par or ahead of most of the other students we observed.I cant thank Mr. Lloyd and GradePower enough for preparing our girl for big kids school.If 6 stars was an option, they would get all ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️On a related note, Mr. Lloyd was an excellent communicator when information was needed and he made sure even the billing was accurate. GradePower Learning Frisco is phenomenal! We learned about it through our sons school. We started tutoring for our 8th grade son in February. Even before we began our tutoring sessions we were impressed with the level of attention, detail, and customer service we received from Lloyd and his team during our initial introduction to their services through the Cognitive Student Assessment conducted on our sons. The time they took to assess their learning styles, strengths, areas of needed improvement was unexpected. They were able to pinpoint not only the educational deficiencies and strengths, but the emotional influences affecting their learning as well. I have used different tutoring services. My daughter took several SATs but had plateaued at a certain score. She needed a higher score for a scholarship. We had four weeks. Mr. Moffat and Bahaa did a phenomenal job tutoring her. My son had attended Grade Power for this 2018 Summer and it has made a huge difference in my sons confidence and learning! One of the best decision I made in my child’s education was to enroll them with Grade Power over the entire summer! The progress my kids have made over the past 10 week is phenomenal! They have made more progress in 10 weeks than the entire school year! This is because of the unique Programe they have (individualized for each child )and also because of one on one child to teacher ratio!The best part of this program are the teachers.. my kids are excited & motived to learn from them! The teachers are certified & very professional. Before GP my kids had no interest in reading any kind of books. By the end of 10 weeks my kids are asking me to buy more books & reading everyday! I want to thank the teachers Andrea Blythe, Steven Lim & Jeremy Kilbride for making learning fun & being patient with my kids!We are definitely back when the school year starts!I highly recommend Grade Power!
