I would highly recommend Kumon Frisco West. My two kids have been under Kumon Math and Reading programs for many years. This is an excellent curriculum. My kids have been doing very well in school. We attribute the success to Kumon. This particular location Kumon Frisco West has excellent owner, manager, teachers and staff. They meticulously go through every single wrong answer to make sure the student actually knows how to correct each one, before moving on to the next. Kumon is an essential place for my kids learning. My children, now 8 and 11, have been attending Kumon of Frisco West since they were each 3 months shy of their 4th birthdays. Kumon has been a godsend. Both of my children tested into the Gifted and Talented Program during their kindergarten year. Each of them is an excellent test-taker, too. Their dad and I attribute much of their academic success to Kumon and the skills theyve attained while being students here. I cant speak for other Kumon locations, but Kumon of Frisco West is truly the best and it is that way because of the owners. Marlene and Oscar, the owners, are truly wonderful people, who care about each student and their families. They want each child that comes through their doors to succeed in and out of the classroom. I dont know where my children would be without Kumon and we hope to continue for years to come. Keep up the fantastic work!If youre looking for enrichment or if your child is struggling, go to Kumon West and have a sit down with Marlene, Oscar or anyone on their staff. I guarantee that you wont go anywhere else.

I want to thank kumon friscowest team through this review.This center is really good and helped my daughter to develop her skills in math, she’s in third grade and any child in her age will need this kind of skills and practice. math is about in everything when it’s comes to education and daily skills, Marlin and Oscar is so kind and understandable for kids need, I’m planning to register my little one next year.

The staff here are excellent and very professional at Frisco West location. They are always willing to help the students. My daughter, who is 10yrs old, has been enrolled in kumon for 6years. She is ahead of her school classmates in both mathematics and reading. Their curriculum is great by showing step by step with examples for students to easily understand their work. I highly recommend Kumon not only for your childs education but also to give confidence in him/herself.

My son started attending the west frisco Kumon a year ago. He went from As and Bs to straight As all year long. This place is fantastic. And he did not hesitate to attend classes two times a week. The instructors are great and his grades show it. I highly recommend this location.

I have 3 children who are currently enrolled in Kumon of West Frisco. We have been enrolled for 4 years. I am so pleased with the way the Kumon curriculum continually challenges each of my children. When it becomes too challenging, Mr. Oscar and Mrs. Marlene have always been so encouraging and willing to help them until they understand the concept and are successful. There is a new Kumon closer to our home but my kids do not want to change because they love Mr. Oscar and his staff.

We’ve had nothing but a great experience here. Owners and teachers truly care about the child’s well being and learning experience. Highly recommend this center.

Tried to charge me $130 two different times after I had let them know it wasn’t working with our child and family.Initially the math program seemed to work as advertised. But six months in our child was having difficulty progressing. We spoke in person, on the phone and over email and explained our challenges and our perceptions of the Kumon way and it’s short comings. The center did try to give some extra help but there was no real helpful long term solutions. I explained to the center that we were at the point of hiring a tutor to help us help our child to understand the math that Kumon was presenting. I explained that I was reassessing the value of this facility and made the owner aware we were considering no longer continuing the center. I 100% expected to hear from the owner saying if it wasn’t working for our child then it’s time to move on. Do what’s best for your child. No hurt feelings.I contacted the owner several days before billing occurred and let them know we had decided as a family that after 8 months of hard work daily by our child we had hit a wall and were needing to move on. 2 days later in early June my credit card was billed $130. I disputed the charge with the cc company. The owner NEVER contacted me back to even acknowledge my email of cancellation. Beginning of July they again attempted to charge my cc $130. Then the owner decided to contact me regarding non payment. There was no attempt at conversion he just sent me a bill. No mention or concern that our child hadn’t been coming to class. He just wanted his money. I would advise you look elsewhere if you are looking for a place to do business with.

Both of my kids started Kumon pre-kinder. My first grader is doing second grade math and is ahead of most of her classmates in reading. My son who will start kinder in the fall will most likely also be ahead. He’s already reading and knows numbers up to 50 and we have 6 months before school starts in the Fall and he’s been there for 6 months. Oscar and Marlene and very professional and understanding of the demands of extra ciricular activities and making accommodations so that your child can make progress in Kumon and enjoy sports/extra circulars. We are so greatful for Kumon West Frisco.

In this kumon center really care about the progress of the children, they have a lot of communication with their parents, it is a place with a very pleasant atmosphere and the facilities are very clean and organized. All the staff is very attentive.
