We love so much about Ripple Effect Martial Arts including the amazing team of instructors and the convenient location, and most importantly the powerful impact this team has had on our twin 7 year old daughters - their confidence is soaring and they have found a passion they both love. One twin started before the other did, and the positive energy, attention and fun drew the other into wanting to do karate over other activities she was considering. The mental and behavioral development is awesome and an investment. After earning her Gold Belt, one of our daughters woke up the next day and the first thing she said to me, “Mommy, Did you remember I earned my gold belt!” She was so excited and they look forward to each class.

Only $3400 annually if you pay in full and get a 20% discount!This is the most overpriced school I have ever seen. I shouldve known right away when they force you attend 2 classes up front, before trying to sign you up, then require you to sign up immediately for a $300 discount. It is the same type of high pressure sales tactics Time-Share sellers use. It looks like they have a good curriculum, but they just churn out black belts. In traditional martial arts, that is a difficult and honorable thing to attain, and not just something everyone that walks through the door gets after $14000 and 4 years. Any reasonable martial arts school would be charging 1/2 as much. The thing I find so upsetting is I brought my daughter in and she really enjoyed the classes and wanted to be a part of it. I wanted her to be a part of it. Then I have to tell her that we just cant be a part of it, because what they are charging should be criminal. They use your kids emotions and high pressure sales tactics to succeed at this. They have lost everything martial arts should stand for and instead have embraced a capitalist business model to line their pockets. Your masters would be ashamed of what you have turned their teachings into.

Ripple Effect has had such a positive impact on my daughter. Aside from the obvious physical benefits of martial arts, her focus, confidence, and leadership skills have grown exponentially.We are beyond grateful for the REMA community and cant wait to see how she continues to grow.

It was 3.5 years ago when my son met the staff of Ripple Effect Martial Arts at Taste of Fort Collins and our lives have been changed ever since. Tristan has always been focused and loved the challenge from the very first intro class and he is still continuing to grow as he continues on his way to second degree black belt. My husband and I started classes about 6 months after Tristan and we both really needed the exercise. Within 8 months we were in better shape and lost about 40 lbs each and were so impressed by the school that we were spending all our free time there. We found an environment that supported what we were teaching at home and have seen many, many examples of kids and adults who have been helped by this program. If you are looking for a great place for your child or your whole family to grow, come check it out!

My granddaughter became a student about 2 years ago at age 7. Now age 9 she has grown to love the personal and community connections with instructors and other students. Ripple Effect impact in her physical sense is one dramatic improvement. I couldnt do 100 push ups when I was 21! The larger result was in her demeanor, somewhat shy, not really coordinated or athletic, she responded with encouragement by fellow students and staff and ownership. I saw marked changes in her behavior, in memorizing and employing tenets of commitment, helpfulness, encouraged by achievements in belt type, confidence in sparring and tournaments and improved responsiveness to responsibility and behavior in her household, school and to her parents. My 5 year old daughter started Ripple Effect over a year ago. At first I was apprehensive of such a young person starting Martial Arts. But it was apparent at the very first class that everyone involved was making sure that she would have a great experience. Mr. Robinson and Mr. Worth make the learning extremely fun while disciplined. They get the students to want to push themselves. The lessons learned go far and above martial arts. Leadership, confidence, self esteem, respect for others and anti-bullying are the cornerstones of the school. Most of the students are children age 4-14 and the instructors are fantastic with them. Engaging, friendly and fun while teaching the curriculum and relating skills to the real world. We will continue to go there. Its a great value.

Three years ago we signed our 6-year-old up for karate classes hoping to find a fun extracurricular activity where she could get some exercise and meet new kids. Today our daughter is a strong, respectful, confident low brown belt who is working hard every day to get closer to her black belt. Ripple Effect is my 4th karate school. I had progressed through the belt ranks at the other schools and quit. Our family has been studying Tae Kwan Do with Ripple Effect for almost a year now. Its hard to say enough good to do them justice! As a parent I really appreciate that the curriculum includes frequent lessons on goal setting, peer pressure, self-awareness, household chore completion, academic rigor etc. Even better, the instructors and staff are fantastic role models that display these values in action. As a health care provider I also really appreciate the breadth of fitness required to advance in belt rank-aerobic training, strength, flexibility, balance, agility-all part of every class.I could go on and on about how great the instructors are or how solid their program is but you wont believe me till you experience it yourself. Give it a shot Trust me youll be impressed!!!!

I have been to the Ft. Collins and Longmont locations and have fallen in love with the Ft. Collins school. Every student is greated with a smile and enthusiasm as well as receiving personal attention during class, the other school seems to lack some of this. Ft. Collins is definitely worth the extra drive.

Our whole family loves REMA! My son is 9 years old and on the Autism Spectrum. He loves everything about going to REMA. We has found a place that is amazing. He is learning skills that go far beyond the class. He feels comfortable and confident. He gets exercise for both his mind and body and social interaction. But the biggest reason that we love REMA is because we have an amazing time as a family. The people and instructors are absolutely awesome.

Weve been with Ripple Effect Martial Arts for over two years, and our experience has been wonderful. Our older two kids were the first to join, and then when our youngest child (3 at the time) joined, my wife and I did as well.I like Ripple Effect because they dont just teach tae kwon do, they teach lots of other life-lesson types of things, like how to handle bullies, leadership qualities, how to handle both victory and defeat, and lots of other things that arent directly related to martial arts. One example is the leadership training. They have classes on leadership, but instead of just leaving it there, they train us in how to really lead other students in a class environment. When the kids are old enough, they will have an opportunity to be an instructor.Ripple effect has a lot of students, but I feel a sense of family with everyone involved. Weve gotten to know the owners, staff, and other students and parents quite well over the time weve been there, and they genuinely care about everyones success and well-being. Ive always seen discipline handled appropriately and effectively.We have had a lot of fun learning tae kwon do, and its kept all of us in shape. Even our youngest (now 5) is in great physical shape. I doubt I could get her (or me) to do as much activity if we werent doing martial arts. On the other hand, while very challenging, I dont think its been too much. Weve had some bumps and bruises, but they do emphasize safety, and will work out modifications to handle whatever condition people are in.Obviously, we like it a lot, and plan on staying with Ripple Effect.

We have been a part or REMA for 8 months now, and I am absolutely astounded and impressed by the way they perform and the impact they have made on my son. I’ve been able to watch Byron and his fellow students grow and achieve alongside each other with remarkable success, developing traits like confidence, self-esteem, courtesy, and respect. The instructors are skilled marital artistsand reflect the character of such. This school teaches and carries out thoroughly what they promise. Our experience at REMA has far exceeded my expectations. When our 4 year-old requested that he get involved in karate, we had no idea what it might involve. Our son is developing his core values, gaining self confidence, and learning about humility. He wants to exercise and get stronger and thrives in a challenging yet supportive enviroment created by REMA.There is also an admiration that he has developed for REMA instructors. He has so many young leaders to learn from which at times is more powerful than all that we do at home. I feel like he has an extra layer of support to reinforce the importance of being a positive role model, making healthy choices, and learning how to acheive his goals. The other students are helpful and respectful to each other including the younger students.I am so grateful for the experience that he has each day he enters this martial arts school!!!!!
