I just wanted to take a moment and brag about Marketplace Creative School. They have been so good with caring for my daughter, who sometimes has a difficult time accepting she has to go to school that day. We have access to cameras throughout the day and we are given a variety of pictures with their curriculum attached. With these constant visuals of our kid it makes me more comfortable having her go to school and not be in my care. Looking at all the things we are given especially the video we have seen her having fun playing, the teachers getting on her level to talk to her, constant cleaning of the class room, and the love they have for each child. I really want to thank them for all they do, and the prompt reply for any concerns I have.

I had to pull my daughter out of this daycare after only 4 days. They displayed blatant favoritism and their excuse was that there was a special needs child that need more attention. However, doesnt every infant need attention? My daughter was only 3 months old at the time. They would simply take her and put her in her crib until she cried herself to sleep. The last straw was when I picked her up and her little voice was hoarse from how much she cried.

Very nurturing environment from the reception area to the classroom. Ms. N and Ms. M in the 4/5 class relate to each child as an individual, therefore meeting each ones specific needs/challenges/goals.

I could not wish for a better daycare. Before ever becoming a mom and during pregnancy as well, I was highly against the idea of my daughter being in a daycare. I am very protective of who watches her and all the horror stories and news reports had me weary. Over time I became more open to looking into it as I wanted to work and go to school. My plans to have a nanny come to the house was not something we could afford. Still hesitant however, I researched as much as I could about daycares and researched the daycares in our city. I printed a long list of questions to ask the centers we visited. The first daycare I visited did not seem very clean, had little space and the director rushed me and seemed annoyed when I asked if I could sit and talk with her to go over my questions. The second seemed to have a high ratio of children in each classroom. I called a bunch of daycares and were not impressed. Aside from that, we follow a set of beliefs and do not consume animal products and byproducts. None of them I interviewed would accommodate that and required a doctors report of an allergy.I came across the website for Creative Schools. Their website impressed me and had many things I was looking for and even things I wasnt specifically looking for but was more of a bonus - accommodating to diet of choice, cameras set up and a portal for parents to view from, great security, college savings, and more. Our daughter started in the infant room and is now in the one year old room. The staff has been so great, accommodating and has made me feel secure about her being there. They know my daughter by name. The daycare has a neat newsletter each month, we get pictures of our daughter and a daily report sent to our email, and I love finding art work for me to take home in my daughters cubby. We have had no questionable incidents but instead all around pleasant experiences and more than I expected. The only downfall has been my daughter being sick more often, but that would happen at any daycare.A few other things that I like is that we are able to provide my daughters meals, so long as we accommodate the nut-free facility. There are menus posted and sent to email/posted on the portal if you do not provide food. There is a daily schedule posted as well as what activities they are doing and what they are learning for each week. You can also supply your own wipes or participate in community wipes. There are many other perks but these are just a few.I also must add that I absolutely adore the center director, Sandra Shaw. She is SO sweet, thoughtful, caring and has such a warm, friendly and GENUINE personality. She never comes off as irritated or annoyed when we meet with her for something. I have also witnessed her in classrooms socializing with the children and it is comforting to know someone in charge seems to enjoy their job and children.I definitely recommend this daycare.
