Cant say enough great things about our experience at Mini U at Miami Valley Hospital. The staff and teachers are the best. Our child loves to go to school because of them. We know the best care possible is being provided and our child is getting ready for Kindergarten. We love the daily reports on Tadpoles and outside of the class to let us know how the day was. Our child loves the food provided. We love that our child comes home each day with a new skill learned at school. Communication with teachers and staff is great. These things truly set Mini U at Miami Valley Hospital apart from other centers.

I have a toddler that attends this daycare. He has been there since he was 8 weeks old. The staff is so amazing. They communicate with you always and always positive. They want the best for your child. I have never had a worry as to where I am leaving him when I drop him off. He loves going thats all he talks about. I couldnt ask for a better daycare.

My toddler has greatly progressed in his speech, eating habits, and interactions since he started at this daycare a few months ago. Miss Ashley is wonderful. You can tell she really has early childhood education knowledge and loves her job. My son even started saying her name as one of his first words. He loves her and gets excited to see her and Miss Kathy and Miss Jennifer and his classmates every morning. This is a very clean facility and I am very comfortable with how they have handled and continue to handle the COVID-19 situation. They do so in a professional and consistent way. I am happy that they have their own kitchen where they prepare the children’s food. Everything in the facility is so clean and organized and my son’s teachers seem to genuinely love teaching children.

This is the best care and early childhood education I have found for my child, and this is why: The center is high quality, as evidenced by their 5☆ Naeyc quality rating. They have highly educated and compassionate staff who are invested in the care and development of little ones. This center offers to feed kids breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack. It is always clean. The staff at the front desk, in classrooms, and in ancillary roles are courteous, welcoming, and kind. The administration is open to discussing any concerns expressed by parents/guardians, and handle such in a professional manner. Our child looks forward to going to school and loves his teachers. I truly believe that attending this center has positively impacted his development, as evidenced by his ability to learn, share, and interact with others. I have researched many childcare centers within a 50 mile radius of this one, and NONE compare. We are so grateful for this home away from home for our kid and hope that they continue operating for many years to come!

We have sent our little guy since he was 6 months old (hes now 2.5 y.o.) and I have been thrilled with not only the staff at both infant and toddler levels but also the organization and attentiveness that they provide. The support that miniU offers to carry over what we are working on at home is wonderful and weve been thrilled with how well he has met all of his milestones with their support of his growth in addition to the socialization and diversity mini U has to offer. The teachers are wonderful and my son was so sad to be away from them and his friends over quarantine! Communication is excellent, there are many options for a variety of schedules (especially for Premier employees, which makes it nice for those with varying schedules) and we feel very fortunate that we are able to be a part of the miniU family!

Mini university is one of the best daycares in town.My son has been attending for a little over a year but all I have been experiencing is greatness. The teachers are great, the front desk staff out of this world always greeting families with a smile. They’re always using the tadpole system to send pics and daily activities my child does throughout the day. Curriculum is awesome I do not regret the decision of bringing my child to mini university they truly Rock 😄😄😄

We absolutely love Mini U and so do my children. The staff are always friendly and know every single one of us by name. Weve been here since June 2019 and there are so many great things I like about this place, the environment and the culture which is based on conscious discipline. For one their curriculum based on conscious discipline has given my toddler a lot of wonderful tools to cope with his emotions and to communicate his feelings. They also offered classes during the summer for parents while providing free child care. How wonderful and inviting is that! But it is not just a curriculum that is brought in during working hours many of the teachers firmly believe in the power of conscious discipline and they practice it and use even when they are not on the clock. The level of communication between teachers and parents and administration and parents is on point. I can walk into my sons room at the end of the day and if something is missing, the teachers are knowledge or if possible attempt to help. They are kind and compassionate with the children even when they are at their worst. My toddler loves his teachers and often comes home to teach me how to use breathing exercises or how he was taught to put on his own jacket. The place is always clean and neat and they offer great choices for food. I highly recommend this place!!!!

My son has been at mini u since June and we love it so far. They have helped me so much with potty training him. They communicate very well and seem to be keeping the center very well kept even through COVID. The staff is nice and very helpful and the fact that it’s right across the street from my jib makes it even better.

Worth the wait it took for my baby to be enrolled. While I am a teacher myself, I can fully say that her development is not where it is without Mini U. The teachers are worth bragging about but the support team makes you feel as if your baby is in good hands. Would highly and continue to recommend!

Our daughter has been going to Mini University for approximately a year and a half. During this time, we have been nothing short of astounded by the quality of care and love she has received at their facility. She shows obvious excitement every morning as she prepares for school. Upon arrival, she runs to greet her friends and teachers - visible proof of her love to be at school.Mini University utilizes a phone app to keep parents up to date with the childrens daily activities and meals, including pictures of their various activities. The meals that are provided are well balanced with fruits and vegetables. We are confident that our daughter will have a healthy breakfast, lunch, and snack every day she is there. The teachers use a detailed curriculum to engage students of all ages, including infants and toddlers. There is no doubt that she is receiving more intellectual stimulation that we would be able to provide her at home without the assistance of the staff at Mini University.I (like many other parents at Mini University) are healthcare providers at Miami Valley Hospital. I can say that I am incredibly impressed at how they have adjusted their class sizes, implemented mandatory face masks, and somehow increased the level of cleanliness at an already pristine facility throughout the COVID19 pandemic. It is clear to me that the safety of our children during this pandemic has been paramount. If you are seeking an early education in addition to day-care for your children, Mini University comes with the highest recommendation that we could provide.

We visited multiple daycare/preschools prior to choosing Mini U at Miami Valley. Our child has attended Mini U for almost 3 years now. The level of care and attention the staff provides is wonderful and the facility itself is second to none. I would definitely recommend anyone looking for a daycare or preschool to tour several places, then tour Mini U. It’s easily the best facility around.

Sending your child to daycare during a pandemic is no easy task for a parent. But sending my child to Mini U MVH campus made the decision untroubled! I have so much peace of mind knowing I left my child in the best possible care during the day, allowing me to focus on my work. From the classroom teachers, administrative personnel and all the support staff you couldnt ask for a more qualified and wonderful team!

My kids love going to mini university. The staff is phenomenal and clearly care about their kiddos and enjoy teaching. The curriculum and care of the staff has helped our little one who had some speech delays really thrive and catch up to his classmates. Now both of our kids attend. We call mini university “school” because that’s really what it is for them due to the care with which the teachers craft and teach their curriculum based on age appropriate goals. As a healthcare professional I also appreciate the responsiveness to the needs of those working at MVH such as being open when some other centers would not be and flexibility with scheduling needs.

Both of my boys have attended Mini U since they were each 12 weeks old. They are now 4 1/2 and 2 1/2. They love school and we feel so comfortable and confident sending them there. The care they received as infants was incredible, we really liked the low infant ratios. I. The toddler and preschool/preK rooms they are exposed to SO MUCH! So many different activities and experiences including field trips, going to play at the hospital gym, different holiday activities etc. We can’t believe this is our oldests last year!!!! Thank you Mini U!

My son has been there for a year and a half. For the first year we didn’t have any issues. Then after COVID hit and he started a new class room we have had multiple incident reports and a couple a scrapes that were undocumented. When we had 2 incidents where another child scratched his face and then three weeks later a different child bit him twice on the back, that was the last straw for us. We tried to talk to the administrator after speaking with the teacher who said that they do not send a note home to the parent of the child who did the harm. All the do is give them a teething ring and try teach them how to deal with emotions. This is unacceptable care. That parent needs to know in order to help their child stop harming others. My son will not return to this daycare.

Both of my kids ages 18m and almost 4 have gone to Mini at MVH for over a year. I could not be happier with their teachers, curriculum and staff. They provide food for our kids that my very picky son rates as excellent. My kids have developed friendships that will hopefully last a lifetime.

Mini University MVH is all smoke and mirrors - they dont care about the children or families it’s just about making money or stealing it from your bank account. It was a terrible experience for my son and our family. Not worth the money. My son had issues transitioning to preschool. During our first conference we were told that they had high hopes for him and that they wanted him to succeed. A month later we were pulled into another conference for his behavior - he was then unenrolled from the school immediately. No warning was given that his actions could lead to being dismissed from the school. I honestly believe their practice of holding children down, who struggle during nap time, caused my son’s behavior to escalate. They also had high teacher turnover when his teacher quit a few weeks into the first month back. Obviously not the right environment for my child, and Im glad we no longer attend. Then 3 weeks later they charged us a full months tuition in the middle of the month with no explanation. When I called billing to have it removed, she even laughed at the mention that my bank account was drained while out shopping. It’s still not corrected. Very unprofessional.

We take our preschool aged daughter here for preschool/daycare. I cant speak much to what she is learning, but they do crafts, have recess, snacks, nap. All the teachers/workers are great.Sometimes they have field trips. Conveniently located next to MVH.We pay something like $500 per month.
