From the accommodating times to the cleanliness that’s EXPERT Covid friendly, to just the authenticity of these two people, we look forward to dance lessons each time we come! We are the furthest thing from dancers but Joe has made us relaxed and has actually made this so fun!We are taking lessons for our first dance, that fingers crossed, is next year but we are so looking forward to it! The studio is huge, spacious, and extremely clean. We dance with masks on & still learn so much in one lesson. My fiancé and I are so excited we found Joe to help us with our first dance lessons for our upcoming wedding. He is very kind and open to making sure the dance turns out to be a reflection of our personalities. On our initial lesson, he taught us the basic steps to our chosen song and broke them down to make them easy to understand. Joe and Sarah are great! They spent so much time listening to what my fiancé and I wanted and helped us develop a dance just for our song. They are extremely passionate about what they do and genuinely happy to help us on our special day. I will be coming back with my dad to practice for our father/daughter dance as well.

Is two weeks enough to pull off an amazing dance? Well, Joe and Sara can make it happen with room to spare. After the first dance at the reception everyone was complimenting me and Stacey and saying they didnt know we can dance. Joe and Sara were amazing. They made sure we understood our dance routine. They also were able to pinpoint with accuracy where we will be situated at each point of our dance. At a certain point we told them we were getting a little overwhelmed with the dance routine so they were able to work their magic and modify our wedding songs to make it more doable. Go to OC Wedding Dance Studios if you have limited time and require the best dance instructors. They will not disappoint.

When we first decided that we wanted to take lessons for our wedding dance, we were very concerned about the quality and level of understanding of our dance instructors. After an exhaustive search, we finally decided to try out Orange County Wedding Dance. Immediately when we arrived, we were warmly greeted by Sara and Joe and right away we felt comfortable. By the time we finished our first session, we knew they were perfect. Both Sara and Joe listened to the ideas we had for our first dance, and they immediately helped us find the perfect songs. The next session, Sara amazed us with the perfect choreography and taught us many dance moves. Joe and Sara are the best! My fiance and I were in need of some help for our first dance. We gave Joe a call and he was very nice and easy to work with. When we met them, they were very thorough with the entire process noting all the details of our wedding. They are very experienced and checked with my fiance on what type of dress, shoes, floors we would be dancing on etc etc. They are very reasonable with their pricing and very flexible to work with.They will come up with a specific dance package that will meet your schedule and budget!! Great teachers and very serious about their business. They will not waste your time. Highly recommend!!

We are taking a Waltz and Salsa lesson for our first dance for our wedding. Joe and Sara are very patient and supportive while we are struggling to learn the steps. We love the choreography and they consider the details of the movement like which step looks smoother, which way we should face when we pause, etc.On top of that, they are super friendly and easy to talk to. They ask for your opinion with choreography making sure that you feel comfortable with each move. So dont worry about any overwhelming choreography!Another thing I like about them is that they helped us choose a song. When we got there the first time, we didnt have any song in mind. As soon as she found out Im Japanese, Sara suggested one Japanese song from a famous movie and we loved it! Instead of spending hours to decide the song, they made the process very easy.We cannot wait for upcoming lessons!

With my busy work schedule, I could barely find any time to take the dance lessons with my fiancée. But Joe was very kind with the hours to make it work for us. At the studio, we were introduced to Sara. Before we even started any moves, she carefully documented all the questionnaires regarding not just our outfits but also the venue. It took me by surprise that she knew our wedding venue extremely well, from the entrance to the size of the dance floor. Sara is very knowledgeable and wonderful to learn from. She carefully listened to the lyrics of the song to make it more personal to us as the couple. She didn’t just throw the moves out and expected us to follow. Instead, she gave us many options and guided us throughout the process. Joe and Sara made these lessons fun and enjoyable. And that alone helped dialing down some of the daily stress and craziness. I highly recommend you seeking out Joe and Sara for your dancing lessons, and it doesn’t have to be your wedding first dance.

Other than mosh pits, Ive never, ever danced once in my life.My better half and I wanted a totally choreographed performance to Frank Sinatras World On A String, and Joe and Sara created an absolute masterpiece! We went to their studio and said, Okay, the song begins with this dreamy opening, giving guests the impression that well be swaying back and forth like tall grass on a breezy, summer day. That part we have down. The rest is up to you! From there, Joe and Sara literally molded us into confident dancers. At the risk of sounding like Im suffering from delusions of grandeur, we were AWESOME!That first hit right as the song kicks in with Frank singing, What a world, what a life Im in love, brilliantly included two twirls right outta the gate. Boom! You could hear a collective Whoa! from our guests. Joe and Sara helped us incorporate dips and accents during all of the stops within the song, along with a salute (Im in the Navy) towards the end. The finale left them speechless with a lift right into a dip. (Note to Joe: Thank you for teaching me how to lift and look cool doing it.)Oh yeah, one more thing, as we got closer to the big day, we began rehearsing within a space that Joe marked off to match the exact dimensions of our dance floor. You cant imagine how critical that was. Keep it in mind.Ya know what else? Joe and Sara are also just really, really cool people. Whatever the vision is for your special day, youll be grateful Joe and Sara were part of it.

Going into our lessons I had no formal dance lessons. My fiancée had not danced since high school.We came in with our first dance song and over a few lessons Joe helped us create a customized dance. Joe was very accommodating when I first contacted him. He welcomed us to come in for the initial consultation. Here, we met Sara. Sara was very thorough during our consultation. She asked very detailed questions to not just the shoes, but my hair, my dress, etc., and the same went for my fiancé. She kindly reminded my fiancé to watch my hair with the twirl, which I really appreciated; the guy would have never thought about that. Hahaha. Taking the dance lessons with Sara is the only non-stress wedding activity that I’ve encountered. Joe and Sara are not just professional but also very wonderful people who genuinely would go out of their ways to help you get to goal. Thank you.

Where do I even begin?!? Okay, lets start about one week into dating my husband:Me: Do you ever see yourself getting married?Him: When I meet the right woman, yes! (Yay me!) And when I do, were going to have the most incredible first dance... that much I know for sure!Enter: Joe and Sara.They were a Godsend for two people with four left feet who wanted to look like Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire on their wedding day. I let my husband take the lead (no pun intended, lol!) when it came to describing our perfect first dance. He gave Joe and Sara our ideas and they ran with them.We chose the song World on a String by Frank Sinatra. Every. single. step. was choreographed. We all had such a blast designing, tweaking, and then perfecting a dance that had it all. We did the fake-out in the beginning where it looked like we were going to do a snoozy prom style sway (yawn...) for the whole song and then BAM- the music hit and we were off and running! The first 30 seconds had about 5 twirls and several dramatic stops timed with the music. At our reception, we danced immediately upon being introduced to our guests. It set the stage perfectly for the classic and fun evening that was about to ensue. Only a handful of our loved ones knew what we were up to, so the effect of the fake-out was PERFECT!! Our guests are STILL talking about it!Not only did Joe and Sara come up with incredible moves but they were great teachers. They listened to the elements we wanted to incorporate and made them all happen: twirls, dips, a lift, a flirtatious kiss.... even a salute from my Navy husband! ;) They worked with our hectic work schedules, being so kind as to accommodate a 9:00 p.m. lesson at one point. They were BEYOND patient with us, even when we were losing patience with ourselves. Lastly, they are just all-around wonderful people.Every couple wants to feel confident during their first dance. Whether your goal is to learn some simple steps to look a little more polished on the dance floor or if you desire an entire number choreographed especially for you... dont wait another minute.
