It was my first time ever taking a dance class, and what a great experience. The instructor Miranda was fantastic. Initially I thought the class was moving a bit to fast, but because of their format and the way they rotate partners you end up dancing with students with more experience. By the end of the class I felt accomplished and really learned a lot for one class. Its a great way to make new friends too.

It was a fun filled day, and I learned a great deal of new steps! Lessons are good for all levels.

This was my first time taking a salsa dancing class and I had a lot of fun.Pros: friendly people and fun dancing.Cons: not organized and there are different levels of dancing within the same room so it gets crowded, confusing, and messy.The first class was free with a Yelp review. I would come here for fun, but not if youre looking to actually learn how to get the techniques down.FYI, its located next to the Jack in the Box plaza. Lots of parking.

This is a very friendly enviroment. Where new begginers students are welcome. Before I started to learn I usually sat on parties when these songs were playing. Now I feel confident. I suggest you to get the monthly deal card. If you want to save money. Ladies are more happy when the men knows how to dance. Now many ladies want to dance with me. (Always with respect ofcourse). Best classes i EVER had. Esteban taught me how to dance bachata and salsa without any prior experience. Within weeks i was able to dance at the clubs and with time this became my favorite passion. I love OC salsa!

Esteban opened an amazing salsa world for me! He offers multi-level classes, so you can make yourself comfortable easily. I started from a very beginner class and now enjoy dancing in salsa club with some confidents. He also treats his students as his dance family; we all love students Birthday parties, seasonal events, and famous Estebans BBQ! If you are interested in Salsa or dance and never had a chance, or you consider yourself as a terrible dancer, this is the greatest place to join!!

I had fear of dancing. But the moment I walked into the studio, I was welcomed with open arms and became a part of the Salsa family since then. I try to make it to the class as much as I can. Its fun and learning at the same time. I love the other instructors at the studio too. They are full of high spirits and never a dull moment goes by.

I love coming to this studio for different reasons: First of all, the instructors are great! Esteban, Heather, Dany and Tali are amazing and super nice. Since the first day, I arrived, they made me feel welcomed and made the lessons super fun. I have taken classes in other places before but this is the first studio that I have come week after week. The energy of this place is incredible and I think it is because of all the different kind of ethnicities and ages groups of people who come.... I just love that!

Esteban truly creates a sense of family with his salsa students making it a great way to get introduced to the salsa community. The energy level is high with both him and Savannah and you get caught up in the energy and passion that they bring to their classes. There are multiple levels to make sure you are slotted in the right group. And a great set of students who will help you with all aspects of salsa and latin dancing. Ive had a great time and will continue to be back while my schedule allows.

Awesome people and safe environment to learn salsa! I really enjoy the classes and the countless opportunities to get together and create new memories. Salsa lessons are great but the opportunity to join a family like this makes this experience priceless. Thank you!

For a while now I have been looking for another fitness activity I could do that would be fun and wouldnt feel like a chore. Fortunately for me a friend of mines invited me to one of Estebans salsa parties. I knew the basic steps but after attending the party I learned a couple more steps. I had a blast, really friendly atmosphere, and it was a fun workout, that didnt feel like a workout so I signed up for some classes. Esteban and his team are fantastic, friendly demeanor, creative instruction and FUN. So far this has been a great experience, I am having a great time and looking forward to the next class.

I always thought it was easy to dance, but how wrong I was. Its awkward, intimidating, most of the time I dont get it. But I keep coming back for more because learning from the instructors and from other like minded individuals from class helps a lot. And there are a ton of cool and nice people littered throughout the studio. Fun stuff!!!

Newcomer review.Im not very social or much of a dancer.I bought this groupon as a way to try new things. This has been one of the best purchases Ive made so far!The class is coordinated by Esteban and the instructors are headed by different male and female instructors each day! Its great! The environment is tailored specifically for newbies, beginners and intermediate Salsa and Bachata dancers. Each class starts with a warmup (~5 min), then the fun begins. Youll be paired with someone different throughout the class.Show up and have fun learning how to dance Salsa or Bachata.

Esteban is a great instructor! He makes the learning process of how to dance fun! Also, once you are in the dance studio and continue with group you notice you are part of the OC Dance Family! We do have great parties to dance in our studio or other studios, going to social clubs, BBQ and pot lock parties, great 3 hours bootcamps, great guest instructors and all fun stuff! I need to mention all other instructors assisting Esteban including Heather and Daniel are great instructors! Each and every one has strengths that you can learn from and energy level is very high! You need to come and see how happy people are during practice and forget about all serious things in life! Besides it is a very good exercise! I recommend to all people and friends at all ages to try learning Latin dance with Esteban!

I first found Esteban & My Salsa family about 10 months ago! I had always wanted to be able to enjoy dancing but never ever ever dared to step onto the dance floor. I am still a beginner dance but with the coaching of Esteban I now have the confidence to get out there and just dance! Last night I was in my first Dance Show with OC Salsa Family! What a thrill that was! I cannot thank this group enough for the support both on the dance floor and off. Esteban’s heart for people extends further than just Dance. He put on a Salsa night fundraiser for an Orphanage that I volunteer at in TJ Mexico. I can’t express my gratitude enough to this man and all who are involved in the program. This has been an amazing experience that has enriched my life! Thank you thank you thank YOU!!

This is an amazing place to learn how to express your self! Heather and Esteban are great teachers and more important amazing as individuals!! We are a little family who is growing and is getting better and better thanks to all the teachers at the Academy. Started to learn salsa here, love it!

Fantastic place to learn latin dance for all levels. Instructors are very patient and friendly.I was nervous to try it out at first, cause I have not learnt any style of dance before. Got comfortable Within first half hour, now it feels like chilling out with group of friends. apart from classes there is also parties/getogethers every month. To summarize, Dance/Workout/Fun and socialize all in one place

You can go dancing to many places but there are very few where you can feel as welcome and confident as with Esteban. Not only he is a great dancer (both social and professional) but he is also a great instructor. He can break down the moves into tiny little pieces that can help improving the techniques greatly. He has such good energy, always smiling, possitive and surely enough, ejoying what he does. It is just Contagious and you can feel this amazing Possitive Energy in the group classes as well as in any of the social events he hosts.

Drove 45 min just to come here to find a sign on the door that said the class is canceled until further notice. Why couldnt they have notified people of the cancellation? Unprofessional.

OC salsa is great place to learn salsa dancing. They have great instructors that know how to teach students in a way that is easy and fun to learn. OC salsa has the friendliest people and Esteban and his staff really make you feel as part of a family since the moment you step through the doors. Estebans dedication to his students goes beyond the studio as he really makes an outstanding effort in creating a social events where students can go and practice what they have learned in class and elevate their level of dancing in a very family like environment.

I love this place because they are so welcoming, warm, and friendly. The instruction is top-notch, organized, available on dvds, and very detailed, with patient and funny instructors who always make it fun. The staff here truly cares about the students comfort level and is sensitive to everyones needs, from hesitant beginners to those who are more advanced and want to become great. It is the best value around, and I also love that they strive to reward and motivate their students with prizes and incentives. It feels like being in a school where people really get to know and support each other. They also host non-intimidating socials so that students can practice comfortably among classmates and friends. This place really goes the extra mile, going above and beyond just dance instruction. lts like a home away from home!
