Awesome school. Great academics. Forming great student character. Great helpful teachers with very effective parent teacher communication. Again, proud to have my kids at the Vanguard School!

My daughter really enjoyed this school but had a problem with lack of freedom and creativity in the classroom. Everything else was amazing. If you are looking for an academic school with thoughtful teachers, interesting, useful curriculum, and an excessively strict dress code, The Vanguard School is a great place to begin a lifelong career of success!

The school is full of egotistic people. Tries to teach only one way and think students should learn it only one way and only that way. Students feel as if they are not smart enough and some of the programs are just terrible.

A school full of egotistic facility. Vp is horrible to children and plays favorites. Many teachers leave every year because they are screwed over by the board. If you have a daddy or mommy on the board you are untouchable. The school deprives children of valuable high school experiences. Dont waste your time here it is no longer a school for intellectuals.

I always felt like the dumb kid here. As nice as some of the teacher are, I was having a horrible high school experience. Now that I’ve left I actually look forward to school and learning. I have more opportunities and get to help other students and staff members. After 4 years of homework all night every night I stoped outing my full effort towards school work during my sophomore year there. Unless you want to go to a very prestige college I would recommend going somewhere else. I went from D’s and failing to all A’s and B’s and I’m happier.

Wonderful staff, students and academic programs. The school has a very large campus and may be difficult to find the exact building you may be looking for, but overall is a great part of the community here in southern Colorado Springs.

The “guy in charge” has an ego bigger than God’s. He shouldn’t be allowed around children. Teachers are okay but are afraid to do or say anything because they are not union. There are drugs in the school and they are doing nothing about it other than “we’re looking into it.”

I visited this school to inquire about the admissions process. The employees and principal were so nice and helpful. The class rooms and school environment seemed very nice.

Administration is absolutley horrible. Certain employees dont give two craps about the students or their futures. I am writing this anonymously as i am afraid my sisters reputaion will be on the line. No room for independent thought or creativity in the classroom. DONT TAKE YOUR KIDS THERE IF YOU WANT THEM TO HAVE INDEPENDENT THOUGHT.

I went here till 3rd grade I think its awesome my uncle is the P.E teacher I also get to see my cousin more my 2nd grade teacher was really nice if u were having a problem with talking they would help you in kindergarten you have q dat with ur grandma and in 4th grade niw I might go back for fifth grade
