Absolutely amazing womens empowerment class!! All instructors were so nice understandable and really work to make sure that you understand your moves. Without harming yourself of your class partner. Simply amazing guys!! I will be back to visit this location soon!!

This School has been amazing. I would like to make a suggestion though. Why not have parent classes the same time as the kids? It would make more sense then having to struggle finding a babysitter for both just so a parent can attend class. When the parent is making time for their child that can be the parents time too so they can help their child learn as well as better themselves. Or am I making too much sense?

It was nice. My grandson enjoyed his first visit. The instructor was really nice. She answered all my questions. Everyone was informative and pleasant to be around. We look forward to being a part of this family.

Clarksville location!As far as the classes go they are awesome! Miss Holiday is the 🐐 goat! She is truly the best instructor there! As for the office.. the lady that runs the phones payments is RUDE. Sooo Rude! I can not stress how rude this lady is! Just for no reason! All the parents talk about how rude she is to them and the children. It’s ridiculous to have someone like this working with children! She needs to be replaced ASAP! Unfortunately they SUCK also at communicating. You never know when anything is coming up,when they will be closed(until last minute) it was more of a hassle than not. We stopped going 4 months ago and for some reason we are still being charged! I had to call again today for the 3rd time to get a refund! 🤦🏻‍♀️ It’s ridiculous

I canceled my membership months ago and the theifs keeps charging me. I was told three months ago that wouldnt be charged anymore. Every month they charge me and I call and they say this will be your last charge. Well guess what, they charged me again. They never answer the phone. Guess I have to get a lawyer

This is a great place for kids of all ages. Lots of activities. Fun people. Good instructors.

We love Haynes!. Being in class with wonderful instructors, having access to them for private lessons and overall the family feel from the entire staff is why we have been there for more than three years.

My four year old started two weeks and has been having a great experience so far. The instructors have all been very kind, extremely patient, and make it so fun for the kids. After three classes, staff already remembers his name and you are greeted like they are so happy for you to be there. The facility is extremely well maintained, clean, and organized. I’m so glad we stumbled upon this studio.

Other martial arts schools do their testing in class and do not charge extra and make you come in at a special, extra time for testing. When I asked what class would be prepare my child to protect herself, the person on the phone said they were all good. Turns out, not so much. Small circle jujitsu is the best for basic self defense, but they dont offer that. They entice the kids with extra programs that cost at least $50 each and I feel bad when I have to tell her no and shes disappointed. I need a place focused on the basics. Brad Haynes is nice, but shop around first.

What a wonderful way for a family to do something together. Life is so stressful and this is a release for my son Evan and myself. We have learned so much and the instructors are very patient and give each person individual instruction and motivation. We could never find a better atmosphere for learning martial arts.

My daughter has been a student at the school for almost 2 years now. I can not express how much she has grown since starting the classes here. She has self confidence now that she never had in the past. This has been a great experience for her. She plans to continue to achieve her black belt. LOVE Haynes Martial Arts!!! Found this academy through a friend in January and have been training ever since. The instructors and staff make you feel at home. Only just beginning my fitness journey and the instructors meet me where I am but challenge me to do more.

We love our TKD family!! My two sons and I have been attending for over 3 years. This is great a structure for discipline, respect for yourself and others, self-confidence, strength, all around fitness and balance.They have so much to offer for everyone in the family. I would totally in courage anyone who is considering martial arts to give this school a try. They offer a 2 week trial membership. Classes are staggered during the week so there will always be classes to fit your schedule and there is even Saturday family class.

My kids love this school! All four of them. Not only have they learned self-defense, but also self discipline. They love working towards their goals of earning a new belt color each cycle. They are also proud to tell their friends that they go to martial arts school. Mr. Haynes is an excellent instructor! Very knowledgeable.

Brad Haynes Martial Arts Academy is a great place for kids and adults of all ages! My son has been attending for a year, and recently attended Karate Camp for summer break. Karate Camp kept him busy with swimming, field trips, and class three days a week as well. He has learned and progressed so much in just a year; this is the best academy in the area. My 15 year old has been attending classes here for the past 9 years. He is visually impaired, so this was the only sport in which he was able to participate. He has loved it from the very beginning. I believe that Mr. Haynes, along with the other instructors, attitude and willingness to work with my son has made all the difference. I was travelling to Louisville on business and wanted to get in a workout while I was away from my home studio in Colorado.The staff here were friendly and accommodating. It was definitely a family friendly atmosphere with a clean and well cared for facility.Its obvious the staff and students take pride in the school and the art they study.A special thank you to Mr. Stuart and Ken (of the BJJ class) for making a stranger feel welcome in their classes.If I find myself in Louisville again, I will definitely return for another workout. :-)

My teenage daughter joined last December after suffering from low self esteem, bad choices in friends, and being bullied. Things had gotten so bad that her father and I had pulled her from school to get her away from all of the negative influences in her life. After driving past Brad Haynes Martial Arts several times, it occurred to me that this may be what she needed to have a positive focus and environment in her life. These people and this facility have been a major part of a huge change in her for the better. Family and friends have all noticed this positive energy she now demonstrates and I am always quick to tell them it is due to this facility. Whoever they’re paying to drive their van around needs to go back to Drivers Ed. Tailed me while exiting 265 while I was going 60, tailed me while merging going 65 now, then passes me on the right all to get to the same red light after exiting onto Lewis and Clark. Made me anxious and uncomfortable, and if he’s gonna drive like that he probably should make sure he’s not in his company vehicle.

My daughter has done the after school program and summer camp for the past 2 years and has loved it since the beginning. She is now a senior brown belt at tae kwon do with aspirations to become a black belt. My son began his journey this summer and he absolutely loves it. Little by little he is starting to focus and I attribute this to the awesome staff and instructors at the studio. I was apprehensive about beginning TKD and Jiu-Jitsu when already in my 20s but Brad Haynes and his group did an amazing job bringing me into the fold and making me feel welcomed. I thoroughly enjoy it and will continue to attend!

My children have trained at BHMA for 2 years. My Haynes is definitely in his element as a TKD instructor. My children have been encouraged as they learn to persevere through TKD. School tenants are Commitment, Knowledge, Leadership and Respect and those sum up the school well.

We have attended BHMA for a little over two years now and it has been an amazing experience from which we have received so much. My oldest son has Right Hemiparetic Cerebral Palsy and Tae Kwon Do has served as a fantastic form of physical therapy, helping him with balance and flexibility. Adults train free with paid membership for their children, so my husband and I began classes as well. We have made many wonderful friendships and are getting physical activity in the process. BHMA is wonderful for the whole family.

I have to say I spent alot of time here when I was younger. My family at that time was going through some hard times and when most people my age even close friends were partying and getting involved in badder things, i was here as much as I could be learning respect not just for others but self respect, disciple and perseverance as well. Mr. Haynes challenged me to push myslef harder than I ever had and not only meet but exceed goals. I still remember when I earned my instructor stripe and everybody came up and hugged me some even with tears of pride in me after everything Id been through. I began taking taekwondo in the louisville location but felt the drive across the bridge was more than worth it once Mr. Haynes opened up the Clarksville location. I owe in big part who I am today to Mr. Haynes and the instructor team. Him and his awesome wife and teammates became more like family than just a training facility, and consider myself blessed to have them. :-)

I highly recommend this place for tkd or jiu jitsu for kids and adults. My daughter took Tkd there for over 2 years and loved it. My wife got to train free and does the jiu jitsu classes and loves them as well. It really helped my daughter with her confidence and self-esteem. They also offer many seminars, tournaments, fun events and fund-raising opportunities to help the community and make friends in the process. My daughter felt a sense of empowerment by actually breaking boards with her hands and feet. They are very easy to work with and care about each person individually. ALSO - the big plus here is that there are classes offered 6 days a week at varying times and you can come to as many as you like - you are not set to a specific time each week. This works great for busy families.
