There is so many good things I could say about this school. All the teachers are SUPER nice. The principal and assistant principal are the most nicest principals I have ever seen!!!!!! I truly am going to miss this school so much but who knows what adventure middle school might bring me. I highly recommend you bringing your child here and they will have the most best school year they will ever have. Also the bully ratings at this school is a zero. I haven’t seen one kid get bullied the whole time I was there. The dress code is not even bad!!!! They let you wear whatever you want unless it’s inappropriate with bad words or something like that so yeah that’s why I recommend you bringing your child here

Overall experienceThere are a million AMAZING things I could say about GES. But my words cant speak the way my kids can about this school. Every year they are excited to go back they want to be there every day and have cried when they were home sick. The one thing I value about this school is its amazing connections it builds with their students and parents. These connections carryover into the home making bonds stronger. I love the family events and all the extras the school dose from math night to stemtastic. Having come up in a small school I know how wonderful it is to be part of a tight community. Gulfs staff and amazing principal allows me to give my children an experience that most will never get to have. That feeling of community and commitment for any student enhances and drives their excitement to learn. GES for me is the perfect recipe for our childrens academics.STRONGLY AGREE: This school has an effective approach to homework.Homework is balanced across the board allowing for a more intricate understanding of material.STRONGLY AGREE: Teachers at this school are effective.Staff is well rounded and precise. Each teachers approach that we have experienced has been both different and yet effective. I feel this balance allows my children to stay interested and engaged in school. They understand there is more then one way to do and learn things. Which I love and appreciate.STRONGLY AGREE: This school develops strong character in its students, like integrity, compassion and respect.Last year the kids had weekly group activities that focused on social emotional skills. My daughter really enjoyed these and I loved hearing about them. I definitely feel it helped shape her growth this past year.STRONGLY AGREE: Leadership at this school is effective.The principle is outstanding professional and fun. The office staff is always on top of everything. I never have a worry about getting any messages to my children or problems being addressed. They are quick and again precise.STRONGLY AGREE: This school effectively supports students with learning differences.My son who has ASD like many others has different needs when addressing his learning compared to my daughter. The school dose exceptionally well at facilitating his needs. We have been in a few schools toured many and Gulf Elementary is far by the best I have seen. The approach is more personal and not by the book.STRONGLY AGREE: This school effectively deals with bullying.I have been in and out of the school more times then I can count. As I have also been to lunch with my kids. Aside from the hand made signs about stomping out bullying I can proudly say I have never heard any comments or whispers from the kids that was not friendly.
