Such a great beginner sewing class! Arlene was such a great teacher and I cant believe I even sewed my own makeup bag my first time EVER using a sewing machine. I cant wait to go back for another class. Thank you!!!

Arlene was an absolute pleasure to work with! I emailed her about a custom mask order and she was incredibly quick and caring with her responses and getting the actual order done! The masks are so comfortable and durable and having to wear them for 10 hours a day at work are a lot easier with a product like hers! I absolutely recommended!

What a great addition to Hertel Avenue! My daughter has attended several workshops so far and is so excited every time! Sewing is such a lost art, and I couldn’t be happier that my daughter has the opportunity to learn this skill (especially with it being right in our neighborhood). We just took the mommy and me class, and she hasn’t stopped talking about what a great team we make and she uses her lavender eye pillow before bed every night! 🥰 Arlene has a talent handling the kids with patience and warmth, while still having fun and learning! Couldn’t recommend Fashion Lab NY enough.

My daughter and son LOVE classes with Arlene! Cozy pj bottoms, re-designed t shirts, emoji pillows and cinch bags they have created it all themselves. They have gained an amazing skill and I’m a little jealous!
