Songbird rising and Laura have been teaching my daughters violin for over two years now and I have seen them both excel under her leadership. Laura is an excellent teacher. She is gifted with that ability to read her students and tailor her teaching to meet the needs of each child. She is kind and warm, but firm when need be. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Our son has been taking group and individual lessons from Laura for over a year now. She is wonderful with kids and really has a special talent for teaching music. Through all of the ups and downs of his learning she has always been available with extra help and ideas to keep us going and to keep our son motivated. Were so happy to have found her!
