My experience here is ok. the administrators are annoying and it feels like prison. teachers are also inconsiderate of extracurricular activities when assigning homework. school starts to late and ends to late. and some teachers are late to put in grades and fill out important documents. this school focuses more on appearances and what you are wearing than the academics themselves. they need to help students become enthusiastic about learning, and provide more fun experiences for all grade levels. it is a literal pain to wake up and go to this school. feels like prison. I feel like Ive broken all my bones while sitting in each HOUR AND 30 MINUTE class. I feel like I jumped off a cliff and survived, so Im stuck with the pain.

20 minutes ago I walked into Sandtown middle school to set up an appointment with my daughters teachers. I was then told to go online. Not once was I asked why I wanted to set up an appointment. I felt belittled, talked down to, degraded, disgusted, humiliated and very disappointed in the staff today. I love my daughter and Im a parent Who wants to be active in my Childs Academic development but how can I be that parent if the school staff is dehumanizing and very standoffish???? So today was a lesson for me .. I will pray that GOD will soften the hearts of our educators that we rely on to teach our children... P.S concerned parent

This school care if you child is getting bullied, bad grades, or in fights. when fights happen a teacher will stand by and do absolutely nothing. If your child is failing it is probably because the teacher hasnt been putting grades in. When your child is getting bullied they will pretend they care and they will do All we can ( nothing ) and the situation gets even worse. at lunch the piazza all ways had hair in it and they still served it .I know i go to this school, but they need to fix the way they handle things. Ithink going to renaissance wold be good for your childeren.

I have to agree with the last post. Horrible school. Someone needs to hold these teachers accountable. These teachers will lie in a minute. Opt for another school if possible.

The teachers at this school do not care. They will mistreat your kids. You MUST stay on top of all teachers or your kid will fall through the cracks.
