I went to the Atlantic-Pacific Regional Tang Soo Do Championship this past Saturday at the Meadowbrook Convention Center in Arlington, Texas to observe my 11 year old son compete and was impressed by the level of detail the Instructors demonstrated in not only their own forms, but the conditioning they have put so much time and effort into with my son specifically to help him become the best he can be. It takes a lot of energy to manage a large group of people, especially children and the Instructors (specifically Mr. Westbrook and Mr. Greene) at cornerstone are there day in and day out, grinding it out, sharpening the skills of their students and themselves.. Thanks for your hard work and dedication, truly altruistic.. 😃

This place is awesome they make you feel in family and we are so glad to be part of it.My son Ruben is improving a lot in different areas in a really short time, discipline is very important in life so you can achieve your dreams and martial arts are a good source of that and of self-confidence as well. I love Cornerstone martial arts. Having studied martial arts in my youth Ive been to a couple of schools, and Cornerstone definitely exceeds all expectations. The instructors are incredible with the children, the instruction for the adults is awesome, and Im happy to be under good instructors.

My name is Marlene Thornton and Im an Ordained Minister and Actress. Also, Im a part of the Cornerstone Martial Arts family. I really enjoy my classes with Mr. Westbrooks and I feel that Im learning a great deal. My schedule is centered around my career and it is good to have a time where I can come in and learn Martial Arts so that I can become excellent in it as well. Our teachers at Cornerstone are masters in Tang Soo Do. They are disciplined and they teach this to their students. I would recommend Cornerstone to anyone who would want to learn Martial Arts, protect themselves and become disciplined because the discipline you gain in Tang Soo Do will spill over to the other areas of your life.

My daughter is absolutely enjoying her classes. She is naturally high strung and has a hard time focusing, but after only 2 classes I can see a change in her focusing more...thanks Cornerstone I think well hang around a while.

Cornerstone is a fantastic school that teaches your children not only martial arts but good core values as well as responsibility. My son looks forward to class every week and doesn’t mind the hard work he puts in to become better at martial arts. Cornerstone works well with children to help them advance at their pace but doesn’t let them fall behind. How ever when Tom foolery shows up they will be disciplined in a constructive way. This is no nonsense learning that is fun and rewarding for those who choose to work hard. The teachers really care about your children and their progress. I would recommend this school highly.

The leadership from the instructors was great, they kept the students engaged and disciplined during the class. My son very much enjoyed his time there when he attended the classes.

This leadership program is diverse and consistent. Its in the name-LEADERSHIP. Its not just about Tang Soo Do. The instructors are in tune with every single students needs and achievements. Ten weeks strong, and we will continue right along.

This place is wonderful. My kids loved it. Not only are they great teachers but also family. My family has been going through hard times and cornerstone showed up at our home with boxes and bags of food and toiletry. We are so blessed and so thankful for all that they have done for my Kids and my family at home. If you want your kids to learn karate and discipline and to have fun and be treated like family this is the place to be. We Will be back once we are back on our feet again.

My, now teenage, sons took karate for a small group in Lubbock Tx, when they were in elementary school. This was way back when Mr.Dulaney had just started being an instructor, he was amazingly patient and kind to my very stubborn sons, they still remember him after all these years.

Great martial arts school! Master Delaney is absolutely amazing instructor. The students are awesome and very welcoming. Not one negative thing I can say. And why would I? As being a student myself, I found something worthwhile doing and I absolutely love it.

Before enrolling our 4 year old son in the Kids Karate program at Cornerstone Marital Arts & Leadership Academy, my husband and I did through research on the options available in central Arlington. While most websites and programs were similar in many ways, the Cornerstone Martial Arts & Leadership Academy stood above the rest in our opinion. There is an atmosphere of inclusiveness that you feel from the moment you enter the doors. We drove by several times and stopped in to watch a few times. My son was super shy, but I finally convinced him to try it out. We rarely miss class now days. The instructors are great with the kids, and it is more than just a place to learn how to kick and punch. Most impressive recently was how they started preparing the young kids for grade school. The message included what to do when faced with a bully, or a friend who is being bullied, or other dangers our kids face now days, like how to escape from a stranger if needed.All that being said, if you asked me what made Cornerstone Martial Arts & Leadership Academy stand out above and beyond the rest of them - their genuine interest in teaching kids core tenants of being a successful and flourishing member of their community through self-discipline and strength of body and mind. Their student oath sealed the deal and is a true reflection of the entire staff and student body.The Student OathI promise to show universal respect to everyone.When my son gets an attitude or does something disrespectful, all I have to do is remind him of his student oath, and his behavior changes. :D

I believe that we should share and recognize the things in life that make a difference. The leadership at Cornerstone really impact the students in everyday life. Recently my grandson Mr. Tech was at a family event and was kicking a soccer ball for the first time. Everyone was amazed at his confidence, coordination and balance. This Academy is the GREATEST! The owner, Mr. Paul Dulaney, is very knowledgeable in his art but also has a wealth of knowledge for parents too! He TRULY cares about his students and their families. Both of my children have attended Cornerstone for 6 months now. The facilities are always clean, the other patrons are friendly, and the instructors are phenomenal.I highly recommend cornerstone to any parent with children. They will learn valuable lessons in self defense along with a boost in confidence that comes from being taught a skill by patient and passionate people.My oldest daughter has some difficulty connecting to her peers and she pressures herself to do everything perfectly. I have noticed a change in the last 6 months. She is more outgoing and talkative, has developed some social skills, and most importantly has learned to be patient with herself when attempting something new.We will be members of Cornerstone for years to come.

I have been training at Cornerstone for over three years. The instructors at Cornerstone are fabulous and can reach all ages and abilities. When I first began my journey at Cornerstone I had several injuries that kept me from performing some techniques. I have gained strength, flexibility, and confidence, as well as the abilty to perform the techniques.The instructors focus tradition in the art of Tang Soo Do and ensure that self-defense is incorporated. Skills are taught simplistically and with safety in mind.If you are looking for a martial arts education for the whole self and not necessarily for competition purposes (although there are competitions) Cornerstone is the place for you and or your child.

This has been a great experience for our teenage daughter! She has gained confidence as well as better fitness. This studio is great for people of all ages. Prices are very reasonable, you definitely get your moneys worth... and then some. I highly recommend this place! You will get out of it what you put into it and the flexible schedule they offer gives you that freedom.

This is a close-knit school where everyone looks out for everyone. Quarantine has forced classroom training to stop, but the e-learning and live video classes are great.

This is a great facility, large and well maintained. They offer a large amount of programs outside of just your normal martial arts classes for the community that is very appreciated. Bu Sabom Dulaney works great with my kids and they always look forward to going.
