I can’t say a single bad thing about Watkins Academy, the coaches or the people that attend classes. Jeremy and Renee (along with all the other instructors) truly care about everyone there. They are always looking for ways to grow, improve and advance each student, not only physically but mentally as well. My son has trained here for over two years now. To me, this place is more than an extracurricular activity, more than a good exercise outlet, and more than a place to learn a sport. It’s a place that I have personally witnessed my child develop friends that become family, confidence in himself, respect for others, perseverance to keep pushing past challenges, determination to meet goals, discipline to show up even when he’s tired, and strength to try again after things did not go how he wanted. Regardless of what your motivation for coming is, I think it would be impossible not to end up leaving fulfilled in more ways than one. I find it difficult to express the profound gratitude I feel for this place and the people in it.

My family joined Watkins Wrecking Crew after 5 years at another school. We were welcomed with open arms and received so much more in return. Jeremy and Renee are 100% devoted to the kids wellness, both physically and mentally. My daughter’s jiu jitsu has transformed drastically under their system and she has gained self confidence again in her abilities. Their business is family oriented and they strive to meet the individual needs of every individual that comes across their doors. My husband and I both train and they truly have a family friendly environment that encompasses the needs of adults and children. Jeremy is a consistent and reliable coach who truly devotes his time and effort into every child in the program. There are not enough positive words I can say about Watkins Wrecking Crew. We are family here.

We recently made the switch and started training with Watkins in January, and we have been so pleased. I train along side my kids (7, 10, 13, & 14). We kids have already improved in the 4 weeks that we have been here. Jeremy has taken the time to work with us to get us all caught up on what we call The Watkins Way in our house 😆. Jeremy is very good at teaching the kids, and you can tell that this is something he is really passionate about. We are being challenged each class, and my kids have really found a love of the sport again. Everyone has been so welcoming and they have already made friends with other in the class. If you are looking for a gym to train at, you wont be disappointed!

I train here and this place is awesome! Very family friendly. They do a lot of competitions and the first one I went to I got gold in board breaking.
