This school is amazing. Michelle Bechtel is a great principal who loves children. Our experience has been nothing but top notch. The children are loved and cared for by great staff. I recommend this school to all my friends and family.

The worst experience ever. I thought I had found a great school in a great location. I would soon find out that was a lie. I signed my 4 year old daughter up for this school. I paid my non-refundable register fee and last weeks pay. I was originally going to do 3 day but decided for 5. It was not problem at the beginning, the signing up and paying went smoothly. The class i was told she would be in changed but i still went along with it. The first day I picked her up and asked about her day. She stated that the teacher had hurt her private area. I continued to ask question to find out what she meant. The teacher had sat her down for time out really hard causing the incident stated earlier. I told her that maybe she didnt hear since my child did say that she had walked off as she was trying to tell the teacher that she hurt her. Day 2 the same thing different incident.Her dad picked her up and she stated the teacher hurt my brain. So again questions were asked to find out exactly what the teacher did and how. I had my little one demonstrate exactly what happen. She shoved my head down hard and said this is what the teacher did to me. At this point I didnt want her back there. The next day I had to figure out where what to do with her before I lost my job. I didnt have time to call them until the afternoon time about these 2 incidents and that she would no longer be returning after just 2 days of being enrolled spending too much money. I asked about a refund and was told no because I needed to put a four week notice in, but they were going to investigate. My final conversation was with Ms. Dolly, no mind you i asked to speak to Michelle but was told she was out. Ms. Dolly told me that i can get 170 back out of 385 for 2 days mind you and that it would take up to 30 days to get it back. I am furious at this point because i have to find another school, which means more time and definitely more money. If you have a child in Ms. Jackies class please pop in from time to time and check on your baby. My husband said he walked in and catch her slamming her hand on the table, i guess to get the childrens attention. She told me out her own mouth how she hits a ruler on the table. She doesnt seem to have much patience which is the wrong career field to be in. I did see her discipline a boy but I thought to myself she could be a little more gentle with him. The way they handled this is totally unacceptable as a business. Please check on your baby or ask plenty of questions. My daughter told me she no longer like school and didnt want to go back because the teacher keeps hurting her. We hear stories everyday about caregivers hurting or even killing children. I dont want to have to see nor hear another sad story about a child being harm while in the care of someone parents trust or suppose to trust the most. I pray and hope that this helps someone.

My son and I love this school. I did my research on other schools before actually applying and Merryhill was cheaper and offered more for us. I love the set up and structure of the learning program for the children. My son is almost two and he will be learning Spanish soon! Daycare to 6 grade, Private School setting. First day they give free so your child can explore and try it out. Teachers and staff are all nice and friendly.

We started my youngest child here and started my oldest as soon as possible. We were just bowled over with the daily communication, pictures, monthly experiences that our children are working on, and answers to any questions that came up. The staff and administration is not only child centered but family centered. Watching our kids growth has been such a joy. We are so happy we finally found a place for both are kids to attend and we are hoping to continue on till they age out. It is worth every penny and its incredibly affordable on a teachers salary.

I absolutely love this school. My daughter started 1 year ago and has grown so much since being here. The staff know and love each child. My daughter started in Miss Jackies class for Pre-K 3 and Miss Jackie was an exceptional teacher. The structure combined with care was exactly what is needed for this age group. My daughter is now in Miss Whites class and is learning and building what Miss Jackie taught her.I love Miss Michelle the school principal. She always greets us with a smile and welcomes the children with love and caring.After having an incident with a previous daycare I was so happy to find this school. Miss Grace and Miss Dolly at the preschool are amazing and truly love these children as well.I could not be happier with the individuals who care for my child and only wish I had found this school sooner.WE ARE MERRYHILL!!!

My daughter has attended Merryhill School for 5 years. I think the learning environment has been exceptional. Smaller class size really allows for teachers to teach when its needed. Kids not only grow academically, they grow socially as well. They learn behavioral traits like, honesty, integrity, good manners, and a number of other important traits that will make them morally and ethically sound as they mature. The school provides a family atmosphere for students that brings out the best in them.

Merryhill offers an amazing education, caring staff, and is affordable. We have 3 children who all have gone/go to Merryhill. Our oldest started in the infant room and is currently in all PAP classes, GT, and well behaved. They teach so much more than academics, my kids learn life skills that go untaught in other environments.

This school has been a godsend and blessing for our family. When things started to go awry at our former school we were faced with the difficult decision of switching schools. Merryhill offered a discovery day so we could see if it would be a good fit. After the first day we asked our 3 year old if he liked and and if he would like to start attending here. He surprised us with a resounding and decisive YES!! Gradually his separation anxiety has gotten better and now he likes going to daycare. I attribute the positive environment in part to the director. She is extremely present and upbeat and as such I believe her optimism trickles down to the teachers.

Baby sign language was the reason I chose Merryhill. My children communicated this way before learning to speak and I needed a place that could understand my children. They have each been attending since 18 months old and I wouldt change it for the world! My boys love school and are above the learning curve within our city. The staff are wonderful and caring. We have become an extended family.

We couldnt be happier with the teachers, staff & principal at Merryhill! Excellent leadership, caring & supportive environment, and personalized learning make everyone happy & successful. I highly recommend this school.

Merryhill is a GREAT school! After trying out different public schools in two different school districts, we found that Merryhill had the quality education we were looking for. Our daughter has learned so much during her time there and I cant say enough good things about the teachers there too! As a public school teacher, education is important to me and getting a quality foundation is important for future success. I have no doubt that my daughter is getting the best education she can. With the class sizes smaller, the teachers are able to assist students easier; questions are quickly answered and there are always open lines of communication between the principal, teacher and parents. You wont find another school like Merryhill!

Ever since my child started going to Merryhill I have see major improvement in his learning. Every member of the staff is so happy to do their job. Overall a great environment!

We like Merryhill School.I feel incredibly comfortable with the faculty and their interaction with the kids.Principal Michelle Betchel is the most professional educator with which I have ever worked.My daughter loves to go to Merryhill School even on non-instructional days.The tuition is perfectly price pointed considering after school care is covered. Since we prefer private school education for our daugter, Merryhill was the right school for us.

Excelente teaching system and small classes. All the staff is caring and very professional. I highly recommend Merryhill to any parent.

As a family who has been a part of the Merryhill (formerly Highpointe) family for over 14 years I cant think of any place I would put my most precious gifts, my children. From infant up to school age we have enjoyed the family environment the team at Merryhill provides for our children. We currently have one in the infant room and one in Pre-K and couldnt be happier. When our oldest child left Merryhill for public school he tested TWO grades above his level. I know this is because the attention, care and true education the Merryhill team provided. I love walking into the school and ALL the teachers know our childs name and are full of hugs for them or when my baby gets excited when he sees the ladies who love on him during the day. THANK YOU for being a home away from home for our family!

In a nutshell, we willingly choose to entrust our most valuable treasure to Merryhill...what else can be said!

Such a bad experience. I would not recommend their infant class...maybe for toddlers that can talk but not for infants. Horrid experience here and the principal was dismissive to a point of not asking why we were leaving after only using 1 day of an entire week fully paid. Needless to say, we paid the weeks tuition and our daughter only went for one day.....the teachers seem nice enough but the fact that they have their five and are dismissive of the children that do not fall under them is a bad idea.

My child has been at Merryhill since he was 9 months old. He loves it and I do too.

My daughter has been at this school since Kindergarten. She LOVES it. She is now in 2nd grade. I asked if she wanted to go to public school and she does not want to change because she loves her school.I must admit, even as a parent, I LOVE everything the school has to offer. More so, the small classroom sizes so the students get more1 on 1 attention.The extra curricular programs available at the school give the kids so much to do that they never miss out on anything....Soccer, dance, cheerleading, girl scouts, piano etc.I would recommend this school to anyone that is looking for a solid place for your child where Learning is Priority One!!!Oh, did I say my daughter can read and write very well she is currently working on her times tables in Math and she is an AWESOME speller. She is ONLY in the 2nd grade.She asked me to put more math games on her iPad that has times tables just this morning...I am so proud of her and the confidence that she has since being enrolled in this school.WAY TO GO MERRYHILL. I commend you and would recommend to ANYONE looking for a great school for their child.
