Honestly! This school has been good to our family.It’s a safe, caring and fun learning environment for your kid’s. My kid’s really enjoy coming here. I really like the open communication via phone calls walk in and even on the Apps. You have access to your child’s daily schedule and grades so if you see an area of concern you can jump on it immediately and not have to wait two months for a report card. The school also has great resources for your kids to use at home like EPIC, MOBY MAX, IXL STAR-FALL and many more that are so helpful, fun and easy to use. The pick up drive thru can be hectic at the start of the year but with all things it take time to adjust. Just follow the expectations by having your pass and not showing up too early and be safe on 16th ST it’s very busy and can be dangerous don’t get stuck blocking the entrance...

Mrs. Carol in kinder is the best!! I wish she could of been my students 1st grade teacher as well. The school is pretty good. Not perfect but definitely one of the better schools in Yuma.

I really liked going to the school and now that i am in middle school i really miss it! Its the best school in the world! I really recommend you go there! The teachers and staff are the best and are always so kind and understanding!

Love DVA! Staff is amazing and very focused on the needs of the students. Teachers and staff are in constant contact with parents and keep us posted on the educational path our children are on. This school really puts effort and dedication. My children love their school and teachers.
