Our toddler son has been attending the Worcester Bright Horizons for almost a year. We feel so lucky to have him at the center for several reasons:1. The teachers are incredible. He has had two sets, in the infant room and now the toddler room. They take the time to tell us about his day, write in journals about his progress and include pictures, do the sweetest crafts with him, and teach him things we do not recall teaching him! One day we realized he knew all his colors. We get progress reports of things he is thriving in and things he is working on. He learns so much. The classrooms are not overloaded with children, and the children are always so well behaved and smiling when I visit. We receive weekly emails from the center director. Alison, the office manager, is incredible! She takes the time to know you and your child, and I have the nicest emails from her. She responds so quickly and is on top of everything.2. The center itself is very clean, open, and well lit. There is a huge center play area with the classrooms all around it. It is really organized and neat. It also has a great outer play area split into younger and older kids. They go outside even in the winter, and I see pictures of him bundled in his coat, hat, mittens, and snow pants laughing on the slides.3. There is a fantastic app that you can check daily. When I am missing him, I only need to log on and there are alerts about when he is changed, what he ate, when he fell asleep, and what he is doing today (examples: in math counts Today at the math table we talked about numbers and letters while we are finding them under cornmeal or in art smart Toddlers had a good time coloring a big box and taking turns crawling inside to hide while talking about hibernating animals). The best part is we get pictures and videos of them in the activities, and it is nice they are in a private app rather than a public FB post. I cannot express how many times at work Ive smiled getting an alert that he is just started his little nap.4. They have a curriculum so my son learns rudimentary math skills, art, and science in a playful way. And obviously, lots of free play, outdoor play, running around with his tiny friends. He has been so social with other children. They also have outside people come in, like a music teacher. There are center-wide fun activities, like pajama day or building gingerbread houses.5. They serve healthy snacks, like fresh fruit, yogurt, veggies and hummus, etc. They receive milk with meals. We receive a calendar with what to expect for snacks.6. They include the parents. There are parent teacher conferences, forums you can join, and so many cute events like a winter cookie walk or fall food festivals.I am very pleased seeing how much my son loves daycare. He just darts in excitedly every day and comes out pooped. It is a bit pricier especially than home daycares, but seeing how much my son is growing and learning and how safe I feel with him there, I would pay that and more. I have no complaints, and I thoroughly recommend.

WORCESTER location: Substandard, overpriced and they are prompt to remind you about the tuition fee well in advance but the quality is worse. Most of the times they use the services of semi trained part time teachers and claim to be having experienced teachers. If you are lucky, You may be a bit better depending on the teacher, we have seen toddlers all by themselves and teachers not attending to them, even when their ratio is 1:4. We have seen toddlers in front of the laptops watching rhymes and teachers nowhere around the children (digital screens for toddlers ..really...?). Worse is that they charge you for a slice of pizza that is substandard and poor that even adults would find it hard to eat...!!!!! When we checked with other parents they had similar issues too,.. so we thought, why not take the initiative and write?, even when we are done with childcare. We thought that others would be proactive reading this. Would u want ur child to go through these ? Please take note of all these and please ask urself Do I have to experience or if my child has to go through this ordeal?...STAY AWAY!!!!! Worst experience ever!!!! I am glad we are done with this ...
