Wonderful teachers and administration. A creative, loving, structured, integrated, and fun environment.

I was hesitant about enrolling my son in public school because you hear so many bad things. We were contemplating homeschool.Murrayville has completely changed our opinion! My son had a wonderful kindergarten year (Mrs. Wagner was an amazing teacher). Now he is in the first grade (Mrs. Haines) and we are still pleased. He reads on a third grade level and I love how his teacher challenges him with higher level spelling words and math activities. He comes home happy and excited talking about the things they learn.I have sat in on music class and the music teacher is amazing. He plays the guitar and the kids were so engaged.The principal, Tim Dominowski, really seems to care. I think she goes above and beyond.The office staff is very polite. My only concern was that the front door is unlocked and especially after Sandy Hook I wished they were able to lock the doors. I do notice there is a police officer on site now, which is nice.The only other complaint is morning traffic. There are many cars and I wish theyd allow parents to drop in the bus area once bus kids are dropped. Often that area is empty but all the car kids are still waiting. My son has been tardy several times because we sat and waited in line for so longPTA offers fun activities throughout the year such as BINGO night, fall festival and other activities.We really love Murrayville and think they are doing a great job!

This is a great school oh i LOVED it

I like the structure and the staff at the school but i think they lack the Stem programs that some schools offer
