Wow, an outstanding elementary school! What a team of teams! The teachers, administration, leaders, and parents go above and beyond to support the kids. A+. Due to recent work moves, our family has been involved with three elementary schools in two years. Alderman takes the cake. Our children are doing wonderful things and amaze us everyday with their elementary journey. Our family is blessed to have such a great community school. Student-teacher ratio is excellent and teachers are excellent communicators with family. Our kids are challenged everyday and we enjoy seeing them achieve their goals.

We are new to the Wilmington community and our daughter attends Alderman. It has been a fantastic experience so far! Class sizes are small (she has just 13 kids in her class), she gets a lot of personal attention, every teacher and staff member in the school greets her by name. School leadership works hard to build a culture of kindness and respect and makes sure every child is appropriately challenged and growing. We love our new neighborhood; were proud to say we love our neighborhood school, too.

This is our neighborhood school and my daughter has been attending the last 3 years. We love this sweet small school - the faculty and staff and the best kind, professional and go above and beyond for their students. As a parent I find this school welcoming and safe. It reminds me of the school I attended growing up and I am looking forward to sending my son there next!

This is my familys third year at Alderman and we love calling it our school. We are lucky that we can walk or bike through our neighborhood to get there and, the classes have continued to stay small so Alderman proves to be a community school that nurtures our children. ALSO, we have a full time AIG teacher, Mrs Turner, who my daughter had daily from 3-5 grade (now in 6th grade) for excelling ELA . We took a bus to AG class once a week when I was in elementary school! Great Aderman!
