They female cashier was helpfuland friendly. But unfortunately at no fault of her own the price was incorrect so she had to call the Manager to make the adjustment.When the Manager came he totally ignored us and opened a 2nd register and started ringing up other customers who were behind me..He kept telling me he just wanted to ring the one customer. But instead he just continued ringing the other customers in spite of me telling I have to get to my job I ended up leaving a cartful of merchandise behind. I would have given a five-star to the female cashier but my over all experience I would have left it at a 1-star but I gave it a 2 I found the Manager to be unprofessional and rude for wasting all my time shopping for nothing.

Staff were professional, polite, and helpful. Store is clean and organized. Ill definitely continue to shop there.

Place is a joke all the way around. As of last Aug 1,2021 Sunday they started closing the store at 5p.

Though some of the employees are nice, The Family dollar brand no longer enforces mandatory mask wearing. So shop at your own risk. But with that said, Employees should still properly wear ppe and not chin diapers. Or else whats the point.

My coupons did not come off my phone. Prices are not marked right. The workers are rude and miss informed on their work position. The line was long and the male worker answered his phone. I am only giving you a star for location

This location rarely has what I need. There are always boxes everywhere. There are two older guys that work there that always look disheveled. There red uniform shirts have dark stains on the fronts of there shirts like they have been working under cars. There was a nice neat looking younger guy working today who was helpful.

Terrible they only keep one person working . The store is a mess . I asked questions about the app nobody knew answers . Outside of the store was 3 young men begging everyone for money they then came in the store and acted as if they were shopping. They picked everything they wanted and walked out the door . The cashier said the management corporate and the police are aware but no one does a thing. The entire situation was very uncomfortable and the cashier stated this happens every single day . I will never return to this location it’s terrible and a safety hazard in need of security SHOP AT YOU OWN RISK

Terrible customer service. The lightskin girl with the ponytail always rude and everyone is constantly complaining about the job. Meanwhile when you ask for help they act like its to hard or they are too busy for customers. Like they try to find ways not to work. I think they either need new employees or new management

Just dont go here this store has fallen apart since it first opened. Never fully stocked, staff team is always short usually one cashier, whom is also the assistant manager. The store manager sits on the computer all day as the shop gets lifted over and over. Its like a mad house there.

Its great for stopping on the way home to pick up a few items. But its very cluttered. Boxes are almost always in the aisles. Sometimes, you cant even go down an aisle because of all the boxes.

Family dollar and dollar general go hand and hand. Theyre pretty inexpensive and have a decent quality of merchandise. Note i said DECENT.

Family Dollar on 1200 Ridgewood Avenue in Wilkinsburg they do have almost everything that you can buy for household from pots pans food drinks and all types of different amenities for local small supermarket so to speak and they are located in all the four communities I can see why because the great big supermarket does not see our community small community as needed supermarket so therefore family Dollar general dollar and all the other stores like them or take up the slack for the pork and family we love the service and be glad to have them in the community health agency me to service the way they do which is right

Very poor customer service. First time visiting this location and this will be my last. Cashier never said hello, did not say one word. She was laughing with coworkers but, failed to acknowledge a paying customer.. how rude can you be!!!!One must wonder what kind of people are working here. At least the store was stocked with a variety of different items. This was a plus.

The Homewood store is very nice. But there turning in to the other stores. They are not picking up the things off the floor.
