My children have earned their black belts at WTA, while I am working achieving my black belt. It shows how much this school means to us. Master Amacher is fantastic instructor. He is very dedicated and motivating. Ms Larson is a great assistant. We recommend this program to anybody!

I had been wanting to do martial arts for YEARS. I finally jumped in head first and joined WTA last summer. At 54 years old, I am loving being in this space - mentally, physically and communally. Even though we have been zooming through the pandemic, I still feel like we are part of a great team. It is great to be back face-to-face even though in a limited fashion. I feel safe with the protocols they are following. I enjoy the workouts, learning the different moves, growing in confidence with each belt graduation, etc. Great place to be! :)

Great place for learning new skills in a fun supportive environment. Teaches perseverance, discipline, and many other important life skills. Small community where everyone supports each others growth. Great for all ages- there is always room for growth!

Though our kids have only been taking classes for 7 months they love it! In addition to Tae Kwon Do skills, they are learning respect, discipline, balance, strength training, self-confidence and so much more! The teachers are wonderful and push the students to be their best. We are thrilled to have found this TKD Academy!

Im 32 and Ive been a student here for over a year and I absolutely love it! When I first started researching martial arts schools to join, I already knew I wanted to stick with Tae Kwon Do, since a friend had previously taught me a few things. But that hardly narrowed down my choices! So I began to visit different schools and attending intro classes. In the end I chose the White Bear Lake dojang because I was impressed with the positive energy of the entire class. The people here are wonderful! We all help and support each other to improve our skills. And Master Amacher and Master Shipley continue to go above and beyond to keep our classes connected during this pandemic. So whether you are looking to learn self-defense, get in shape or just try something new, we look forward to meeting you!!!

Hands down the best studio around. If you’re looking for not only a great studio but a 5 star instructor. Look no further than Master Amacher at WTA White Bear Lake. Both of my kids have trained there and still go there. Starting out with their white belt and earning their way to 2nd degree black belt. Give them a try and you won’t be disappointed.
