I am currently still a student here and I am so glad that I have chosen this school! The owner (Debi) and instructor (Lisa) are amazing at what they do! They are extremely knowledgeable in Real Estate and I love that they are always available to answer any questions or concerns! They are such caring individuals and genuinely want to see every student succeed! Being a full time mom, having a part time job and trying to be in school is definitely challenging but I am so grateful that the classes work within my schedule and I hope to be able to pass my exams soon! Decided to go in person for real estate school and asked around. A Plus seemed to come up quite a bit. Although there are plenty of online options, passing is no easy task and going in person offered structure and the ability to ask questions and get immersed in real life scenarios. I will say, this class is HARD, and their tests are even harder. BUT when it came time to go in person and take my test for my actual license, I passed on my first go. A Plus Real Estate school really prepares you and any time I had a question i would just call Lisa (teacher) day or night and she was there to help.

I recently completed the Pre-Licensing Real Estate (On-line)class sessions. Successfully passed my National and Colorado State Exam.I am a full time Clinic Operation Manager, it was super convenient to be be able to attend online classes after work. Debi ( the Co-founder) and Lisa (the instructor) cared for me as a student and about my success in learning the material.As a mother and wife I was able to manage my time during the weekends to be able to study and attend Saturday Math Review classes. It was a blessing that Lisa was always available before and after classes for any questions.I do not have enough words to thank Lisa for all your words of encouragement and for sharing all your wisdom with us your students! Debi I thank you for reviewing with me all the wrong answers on your A Plus Real Estate Practice Exams. This help me tremendously to pass the actual tests at PSI.I am so exited to start as a new CO Associate Real Estate Broker because I know I have great foundation and great leaders to look up to and follow!

I am in online classes to take my Colorado Real Estate licensing exam. Our teacher, Lisa, is wonderful! She loves to teach and it shows. Both Debi, the owner, and Lisa are super knowledgeable and available out of class to take calls with any questions. I feel confident I will pass my test with their help. I was worried about taking these classes online and now Im so glad I signed up!

Took a 4-hour online class. The instructor was Debi Portararo. Her communication skills and knowledge were top-notch. She kept the class entertained, as it can be difficult to stay engaged with on-line. I highly recommend this instructor for your real estate educational needs.

I’ve heard so many horror stories on real estate schools just throwing you a textbook and wishing you good luck on learning the material. But at A Plus Real Estate they do a FANTASTIC at thoroughly guiding you through each section of the textbooks and breaking down what the material means. Lisa is a fabulous instructor, super friendly, very open to any questions and concerns and is fast at responding!! They’re on top of it here in making sure all their students are prepared for the state exam.Thank you for the great experience!!

The instructor Lisa frequently got very hostile and rude when attending classes to people who attended with me, they closed the classroom shortly after I had enrolled . I specifically chose this class because I needed in-person classes, (and frequently checked when it was going to be open again)when I explained this to them and asked if there was a chance I was able to be refunded they simply made rude comments via email that they extended the class time up to a year and hopefully I have my class completed by February 17th 2021. Unprofessional and basically thieves, I wouldn’t waste any time or money here. Certainly do not recommend, 0 stars if u could.

I recently completed the A Plus Real Estate (in person) class sessions for National and Colorado and it set me up for success for PASSING the National and CO State Exams the 1st Time through !!! An Incredible Journey and Experience !!!I never missed a class because I found them to be interesting, entertaining and helpful in digesting the vast amount of information that you need to know for passing the Exams. I cant convey enough how much Debi (the co-founder) and Lisa (the Instructor) cared for us as students and about our success in learning the material. Lisa was VERY re-assuring, positive and kept the class interesting with real world examples and was always upbeat and cheerful for our class sessions (such an incredible mentor and instructor !!!). Debi kept the class updated with materials and requirements that were required by the CO Real Estate Commission and it was instrumental in our learning by keeping all the relevant material in front of us and changing the material as changes were required by the Real Estate Commission.I really appreciated that Lisa was always available before & after classes and on Saturdays for questions or help. Additionally, Debi sat with, me and went through every wrong answer on her A Plus Real Estate Practice Exams to help prepare me for my best shot at passing the actual tests at PSI.Im convinced that Lisas (in class efforts) and Debis diligent eye on the requirements and in clarifying areas that I was over thinking, helped me not only PASS the required A Plus Real Estate tests for National & State, but also the State and National Test that are administered by PSI Services, LLC to become a CO Associate Real Estate Broker. I couldnt be happier with my experience and I say to Debi & Lisa --- NICELY DONE !!! GREAT EXPERIENCE !!!

I recently completed the Pre-Licensing Real Estate class at A-Plus and passed the exam. Lisa was a good instructor and presented the material and concepts clearly. She made herself accessible and really helped me to pass the Colorado part of the exam. The text book was a bit confusing in regards to the layout but the website is easy to navigate and all the course info, quizs and tests are available to access at any point.

I took the online course for National & State, just WOW! Deb the instructor is amazing with making everything clear and understandable, not only in the videos but also was available for my calls and emails all the time! She was so helpful with my testing dyslexia too and worked with me extra outside of class to help prepare me for the exam. Which worked, I passed!! Thank you A Plus Real Estate School!

I just finished my classes at A Plus Real Estate School and passed my Colorado Real Estate Test! I appreciated the instructors willingness to go the extra mile and always answer questions. She also conducts a Saturday Review Class which is very helpful!

Being a student at this school was such an amazing experience! Lisa and Debi are both excellent instructors! They cover the material very well!They genuinely want you understand the material in depth so you know what you are doing when you go out in the real world and practice!I passed the exam on my first try! So happy!Thank you A plus!!

Lisa was the best instructor I could have asked for. Going to class 3 nights a week after a full day of work isnt ideal but Lisa made it so enjoyable. She was able to talk about Real Estate in a real life way that helped some one like me who has never bought or sold a home understand these terms and policies. She was always available and willing to help until it clicked. The weekend study sessions are awesome and so much help when preparing for the exam.

I recently took this course, the books are very unorganized, chapters are not labeled, there are wrong answers in the quizzes that theyre aware of and they keep reprinting the books. I was under the impression that If I missed a class I would be able to watch a video from their online school. The videos are a couple years old and dont correspond with what is done in class, nor is it labeled so that you can figure out what to even watch. I was told they were going to be making new videos but it never happened. There are so many quizzes, it was hard to keep up. Most schools quizzes are 10-12/15 questions per chapter, some of their chapter quizzes were 45 questions. I know they were trying to prepare us but I feel their material is old and dated. They want you to come in and take their final (most schools allow you to take it online) prepare to spend at least 4 hours there (during the weekday) they do not offer weekends or nights to take their final and you have to get an 80%. A little frustrating since its a night course and most people work during the day. Lisa was great, her stories were entertaining and she knows her stuff. I would not recommend this school.

I took their online Pre-licensing courses. The program is very good. All I needed was my iPhone. I have to say how much I appreciated the YouTube lessons and 2 hour, Saturday Test prep classrooms (even though if you signed up for the online course, this class you can attend). Passed my exam on my first try and I would highly recommend this school to anyone who is starting off in the industry or continuing their education. Thank you Debi and Saturday classroom teachers.

I had an amazing experience at A Plus Real Estate school! Lisa was awesome and I really enjoyed going to class! If Lisa taught any CE courses I would definitely sign up. I enjoyed my time there and I learned a lot. I would recommend taking this real estate course.

I have been a Realtor in the Denver area for 14 years and I dont care what anyone says, they are the best in town! Debbie has always provided excellent content and opportunity to learn as much as I can about my profession. Not only are the online courses great but the class room instruction can not be surpassed. Beware tho, the tests are difficult, as they should be. Keep up the excellent job you are doing for Realtors and I look forward to the next course!

Passed my exam on the first try. Came to this school once I realized that the online program was to dry to get through on my own. They do a good job of trying to make it fun even though the material is boring and hard to get through. The stories that are told during class are important and helped me score some extra points on the exam. So pay attention to them. They have a purpose. You will have to study a lot out of class, but this is true for any real estate program, you cant pass by just going to class. This class was way more motivating and entertaining than the online stuff.

A+ Real Estate School IS A+!I signed up for the Real Estate Pre-Licensing program given the option of In-Classroom education, Online or both. After having a conversation with Lisa McKim (Instructor), I chose the IN-Classroom education. Lisa made it very clear that she would help you, help yourself thru the whole process. Which she did! Extreme patience, very thorough!I met Debi Portararo (Co-Founder) once in class and every time I went online to study. The online education was what I expected but Debis online classroom material was perfect reference material for me. I found that if I had a question after class or studying on my own I could always access Debis online classes. Very Helpful!The final with Debi was more than I expected, but I would not have wanted it any other way. I passed Debis Final as well as the State Exam on my first try! Not easy but absolutely worth it.Im grateful and I appreciate the real life experiences, knowledge, care and skill that both Lisa McKim and Debi Portararo have given!Thank You,

Debi is extremely helpful, knowledgeable and is able to put Real Life situations into a learning situation that makes sense. This class was a complete waste of my money and I should have listened to the venting of other students on night 1. If you want to have a power point slowly read to you and the same jokes and stories that are completely unrelated to the test told every single night, then take this class. When you ask the teacher where you are in the book, or where to read, he states, All I know is Deb says its in the book. I took an in person class to have the structure of a class and the networking with students. I was able to make friends with a few people in the class but the class itself was not worth it. I work as a trainer for a corporation by day and the times I went to class before dropping were a wasted of time. I was told, Im sorry you dont understand the material... its not that I didnt understand, its that I dont need to hear the same 30+ minute story every night of someone buying a car before closing along with other stories. For a 3 hour class plan on spending maybe 30 minutes of a power point being read to you, and the teacher story telling the SAME stories every night. The teacher blames everything on Deb the instructor. Plan on having NO syllabus that will be handed to you. If you miss a class and ask what you missed, they say nothing. There are much better schools out there, please stay away from this one. Ive been in an online class for a week and the difference is amazing. Im sure the class was much better when Deb taught it, but she is collecting a lot of money from people and is incredibly defensive if you question anything and blames it on your ability to understand. I have no idea how this school is even licensed... several people in the class are STUCK because she takes a huge amount of money if they drop it and have to start over.

Lisa made my experience at A+ Real Estate School a wonderful one.Jumping into a Real Estate class without much prior knowledge can be intimidating but she made each class easy and relatable. I was able to complete all of my necessary hours in just a 2 month time period!

Debi was amazing! Truly! I am a horrible test taker and although I knew the material I could not pass her test. She individually worked with me until we both felt I was ready and I passed! The teacher is amazing and both her and Debi where always willing and ready to help. Thanks again to the both of them!

I decided I wanted to get into real estate several years ago. I researched and came up with APlus Real Estate School because all of the research indicated this was a top quality school, where everyone that studied and attended the classes passed the real estate exam on the first try. It was hard with working but I stuck with it and had a wonderful experience with the school. The instructors were extremely well versed in real estate and very patient in working not only with me but all of the other students to assure us we would be good realtors and pass the exam. I did pass the exam and have been very pleased with the ongoing continuing education. I continually fulfill the requirements for my license and have, through the school, moved forward into a Managing Brokers position. I would highly recommend this school to anyone that is serious about becoming a top quality realtor in the Denver area.
