We have been so pleased with the care our son received at Burgetts (West Lafayette). We enrolled him as an infant and just unenrolled due to a relocation. His five years at the center were full of great memories. We found the staff to be friendly, caring, and knowledgeable, and were pleased to see how many of them have worked at Burgetts for a long period of time (10+ years). Well-cared for staff = well-cared for children! Compared to other centers we toured we loved the amenities Burgetts offered as well as the curriculum. Yes, the tuition is a bit expensive but for us it was worth every penny to feel confidence and trust in our daycare provider. Highly recommend!

Both of my two children went to Burgetts, and my son just graduated from their kindergarten. Ive toured most of the other childcare facilities in town, including the ones affiliated with Purdue, and no one beats Burgetts. We also tried a couple of other centers due to moving across town, but ended up back at Burgetts. In contrast to my experiences elsewhere, I always knew that at Burgetts my children were safe, learning, and having fun with caring teachers. And, as a parent whose work continues regardless of weather, I loved that they dont close or open late on snow days like so many other places. Im very thankful for Burgetts, and recommend anyone moving to the Greater Lafayette area or expecting a baby reserve a space well in advance--theres a good reason the center is often full.

I have had three children go through the 4 and 5 (pre-K) classes at Burgetts over the last 7 years, my most recent just graduated from the pre-K this spring. I couldnt be happier with the care and curriculum provided by the staff. The teachers were encouraging and enthusiastic with my kids. It was so comforting to know they were well-cared for and learning every day. As a teacher myself, I was very pleased with the educational aspect as well as the fun/social parts of the day. The staff was also accommodating and flexible with schedules for special activities, trading or adding days to our schedule as needed. I would recommend this facility to any mom looking for an educational child care program!

We can not say enough great things about BLC in West Lafayette. All of the staff have been amazing; not only were they helpful, they were friendly too! Even the owner is very hands on! Our son attended BLC for a little over a year. They made the transition from an in home day care to a bigger facility smooth and painless.BLC offers so many activities for the children to do and so many experiences. I was a little anxious about our son swimming every day, but they have two adults in the pool area at all times and very strict rules to insure safety for the children. They have not had a pool related accident the ENTIRE time they have been open! Our sons confidence in the water grew so much in the past year.Besides the regular activities available at BLC, they also have other organizations that come in and offer different activities that your child can participate in. This was great because it allowed our son to be involved in other things like soccer and Crouching Tigers (we highly recommend this program!) during the day without adding extra activities in the evenings. They also participated in some really great field trips like Fair Oaks Farms and Exploration Acres.The teachers at Burgetts really care for the kids and are passionate about what they do. This shines through in the way they interact with the kids and the planning they put in to each day and lesson. Everything is well organized. All of the teachers our son encountered definitely had a positive impact in his life.I would not hesitate to send your child here. I think you will be happy with your experience and your child will greatly benefit. We plan to use Burgetts during the summer, we love them so much!!!!

I am not one to look at reviews through social media, but for those that do, please take a look at my review and do not stop here. Continue to ask parents and teachers at Burgetts Learning Center about what they have to say about the place!  I am not surprised by the few negative comments because our world has been set up in a way to only advertise and spread the word when a bad situation arises, I am writing this review for the opposite reason.I want you to believe I am a mother whos child went to a horrible preschool before I found Burgetts. I know the ill feeling of never knowing what you are going to find after you practically run into the building. Its an awful feeling and Burgetts in West Lafayette showed me and my family that a good and qualified group of people can, in fact, make my daughter feel happy, intellengent, and cared for every single day, with any teacher she may be with. The center knows how to have fun, with an art studio, dressup room, computer lab, indoor & outdoor track, a ball pit room, a sandbox room, & our children favorite indoor and outdoor swimming! These dont touch on the extras that the center offers, but more importantly, there education & corriculum is excellent. My daughter has been at the center for 4 years and has learned so much in EVERY room she has been too. The ratio of teachers - to - children is watched by them at all times. My child is able to get more one on one attenton because of this center DOES follow state guidelines. I could write a novel about how great they are because they have what any mom like me whats, loyalty. They have never made me feel insignificant, or annoying when I call to check on my child. NO center, should send your kids home without some type of curriculum learned that day or feeling, grumby, hungry, sad, hurt, dirty, or unloved. My daughter would saty the night in her classroom if Id let her. For FOUR years I have remained loyal to Burgetts because they have proven their loyalty to me. So, if you are reading this now, and contemplating where to send your children, I am proud to say you would never regret your decision to join their family at Burgetts Learning Center!♥️ Angela Redinbo

We enrolled our son since he was 5 months old at BLC. Before we chose BLC, we looked and visited 3 other daycare in our area, and BLC has the most facilities and programs we like. The teachers at BLC are caring and know what to do with the children. I have seen my son to grow very well under BLCs care. They also listen and take any feedback we gave them very well, with a clear actions. They provide Daily News for the children, so parents know exactly whats going on and how the child was in daycare. My son loves his teachers, and he know talks about them at home :) We are moving to IL, and as we look for daycare there, we could not find yet the one we like as much as BLC. We cannot say thanks enough to BLC for caring for our son. We love BLC and wish we can move them with us!

My daughter has gone to Burgetts West for over 5 years (age 1-6). We picked Burgetts based on the recommendation of some colleagues who loved it and never regretted it. My daughter has grown happy, smart and well adjusted due to the care she received at Burgetts. She loved all the teachers she had. I am somewhat embarrassed that she spent more time all those years at Burgetts than with us, but both my husband and I work very demanding jobs and the fact that she was safe and in a nurturing environment during the day was of great help to us (and our careers). Last summer she did 3 camps, but the Burgetts one was still the best. Of course, at the end of the summer we were ready to move on. Our daughter is now in 1st grade at Klondike and I found that kindergarten at Burgetts prepared her well for it both socially and intellectually. We are grateful to all the Burgetts staff. My only suggestion to Burgetts owner would be to improve the outside appearance (the buildings are old and tired looking).
