This is our first experience with a child, and thus with day care. Small World has been so great with our little one. They keep us well informed on his day to day, and are quick to reach out if they have any concerns. My mind is at ease when I know he is there with them.

Since starting my child here, the administrators as well as the teachers have been so wonderful to him. They are teaching him new things, hes made tons of little friends and they are always responsive to questions and things that happen through out the day.

My daughter loves Small World. She has made so many friends and she loves her ladys up front. Lots of fun things for the kids to do. Always willing to go the extra mile when you have questions or need help with anything.With everything going on in our crazy world right now they have done great at keeping everything running!Thanks ladies!!

I have been bringing my daughter here since she was 7 months old, from a recommendation from a coworker, and I will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. I never worry about my daughters care at Small World. The teachers and management staff are amazing! Shout out to Megan, Michelle, and Natalie. My daughter comes home every day singing a new song, saying new words (above her age level), and happy as can be. She talks about her teachers all night long. The staff goes above and beyond for my child. Its a relief to know she is safe, cared for, and loved, especially during COVID.The facility is clean & accessible. They also recently started using an app that makes it so easy for me as a full-time working parent to keep in touch with her teachers, and they will send me pictures and fun highlights of her day. I highly recommend Small World West Jordan to any parent thinking about daycare for their child. Thank you, Small World!

I absolutely LOVE small world and so does my child. My son loves being there. I drop him off and he walks away so happy. When I pick him up he’s so happy. They’re are super nice and patient with my child. The last day care my son was at he would cry every time I dropped him off. I could tell he was miserable there. Weve enjoy having our kids at small world. Even through a pandemic, theyve managed to help our kids be safe and still allow us to work. Our kids enjoy the teachers and their newfound friends as well. We took a break from daycare to try and save money, but when that didnt pan out we went straight back to our favorite teachers!

We have been relying on Small World for just over a year, and couldn’t be more pleased!! Asking someone else to love your child the way you do is an enormous favor, but they’re happy to comply. They use the Procare app to keep us updated all day long. I get pictures, messages and follow his daily routine. It makes the daily distance feel shorter.The teachers are incredible. They have taught my one year old so many things and are happy to collaborate with me, so that he has the best possible outcome. His vocabulary is extensive for his age and I see constant results. As a new, and terrified, mom, I am very thankful for the guidance and support.My little guy loves everyone there. Tears are extremely rare when I drop him off. In fact, there are plenty of times that he has leapt out of my arms. It is, hands down, the best daycare available.

I’ve been taking my kids to small world since they were babies, and now they are 4 and 5. The staff is great, and my kids enjoy their teachers and all the activities they get to do.

We went through 2 at home day cares before finding Small World. I was so happy to have my infant in a class with other kids her age. Shes now moved up to the toddler room and comes home every day with either a new word or expression. The teachers and staff are all so nice. Thanks Small World!

Miss Megan and Miss Natalie are amazing they are very patient and wonderful with how they treat your children and the way that they have handled do you know the closure of the daycare due to the coronavirus and everything they have gone out of their way to do an information that they have provided the families has been very appreciative! Our family couldn’t ask for a better child care center for our children and we thank you very much for everything you do! Im to old to go to small world but when I went it was so fun. All the teachers were very nice and we had lots of fun. In summer we went on a fieldtrip everyday. I miss it so much

Both of my boys (Age 9 and 5) have been going here for years! We love this facility! Very friendly and welcoming, the kids love going here and have made so many friends and have so much fun. I like that I can drop them off knowing they will get to and from school safely and are in a safe environment until we can pick them up. The teachers are great! We love small world.

My girls started going to small world about two years ago and we absolutely love it. Carmen is fantastic and my girls have loved their teachers. My kids feel safe and comfortable with their teachers and the staff at Small World.I love that the front doors are locked down to only those with the code to get in. There is also always someone at the front desk when I come in. They are aware of who is coming and going. It feels very safe and secure. I never worry about my kids safety when they are there.Carmen and the staff have been so great to work with on our schedules and offer multiple monthly payment options.They also drop off and pick up from my daughters school. They are always on time and very aware of the kids on their bus.No daycare is without its faults, but whenever we have had even the slightest issue they have addressed them in a very timely and professional manner.I would recommend Small World to anyone looking for quality child care.Thanks Carmen and staff for all you do!!

Decided to bring my kids here for a few days a week during the summer so they wouldnt get bored and sit on the couch all day watching TV. It was a great decision. My kids have not liked daycare in the past but they are enjoying their time here. The playground in the back does seem to be very hot in the afternoon and would suggest some more shade. But other than that we are happy with our decision to bring our kids here!

Although it is always hard to leave your kids at any daycare facility, we have found that Small World Child Care of West Jordan is a great facility. We have enrolled our two children there for the past couple of years. It is conveniently located, is really competitive on pricing, and has buses that can take and pick up your kids from surrounding schools and then drive them back to daycare safely. We have found the staff to be hard working, honest, and to truly care about our children. While no daycare is perfect the directors and teachers here try very hard to take care of any problems that may arise, and are attentive to any needs that we have. They have a good curriculum in place which includes lessons and arts and crafts that assist with our children’s educations. I would recommend Small World Child Care of West Jordan to anyone. They are a great organization to work with!

Both my kids (2/4) attend this facility.I knew my 2 year old would be a challenge, since Ive always been a stay at home mom. The staff has been amazing sin e day 1 in helping to transition my kiddos. Now my 2 year old asks for her teacher.Thank you Small World for your patience and attention to our family needs .. .

My daughter loves going to Small World. They offer dance which she has attended and now does the swim lessons they offer in the summer. I feel comfortable in leaving my child there while Im at work they have security cameras and you have to have a code to get in the building. The directors are awesome as well.

I have been bringing my children to Small World for about 5 years and they are amazing! It is always hard to leave your children with someone else but these guys make it so much easier! I love that I can drop my kids off and have them run to their teachers with open arms instead of fighting me these guys are great!

Both my kids went to this daycare for years and both grew to love it! My daughter was involved in dance and swim lessons and actually looked forward to daycare for a change. Miss Carmen was great and was always willing to work with me on payment issues.Fast forward to June/July of this year. The bus schedule was posted for sign up and I noticed my daughters school wasnt listed. I mentioned to Carmen as well as another staff member who both assured me that they could pick up my daughter from school. Middle of July comes along and I happened to mention again that my daughters school was not on the school pickup list. I asked a staff who THEN informed me that they would not be able to pick my daughter up from the school I had REGISTERED her to. This was a complete nightmare for me. I though maybe I could talk things out with the new director and see if they could just do pickup Mon-Thurs at her school which isnt that far from the facility.The director literally showed no remorse. I had only a few weeks to not only find a new school ( outside from our boundaries) for my daughter but also a new childcare (which there arent many within my area).The WORST part was, I as well as my daughter had grown to love this place. They had always treated us so greatly in the past. Loved the staff. My daughter had finally came out of her shell and had made friends, preformed in dance recitals, and I felt like we were just thrown out without any once of care and it was VERY HURTFUL. I can not get over how cold the new director was to all of this.I use to rant about how awesome this place was because they truly get to know and care for your kids. Now Id never recommend this place to anyone.I get that some schools had to be cut and the director said even more would be cut the next year. Why could they have waited to cut my daughters school one more year? After 5 years of love we had for the facility they couldnt have cared less.

Small World is the only child care I have ever had my children attend. They love it there! The teachers are so good with all of the kids and the management is so great. They do really love all of those kids. Ive noticed that they know every kids name that has ever come in or out while Ive been there. My daughter is only there during the summer months while school is out. She loves the field trips and swimming lessons. I love that she is still able to get to do fun things during the summer, more than I would be able to do with her, every day of the week while Im working. My son has so much fun there. I love that he can have preschool and take karate right there at the center; he is always so excited to show me what he learned that day! He always has fun stories to tell me when I pick him up and has made cute little friends there. I would highly recommend this center!

Ive had both of my boys here (my oldest started going to big boy school so he doesnt need day care) but my infant is there now and everyone is seriously amazing! Ive never had any problems, whenever I have a question Carmen & Natalie are always there helping (you ladies are awesome!!!) Been with this amazing crew for over a year now so thats saying a lot cause Im super picky about my boys and who they are with.

I LOVE Small World Child Care in West Jordan. The staff is very friendly. I took my 4 year old here and unfortunately had to change centers because we are moving. But Carmen helped me in making sure I was just as comfortable with my sons new Child Care Center, as I was with Small World. I cannot even begin to explain how greatful i am for small world!! this daycare is amazing. as well as the staff. i know they love and treat my kids like they are there own! i love how you walk in and they treat you like family. my kids have been going here going on 4 years and they love it, they are so helpful and they stick with my plans and goals for my kids. i know by choosing Small World that i made an awesome decision for my kids!! i recommend them to everybody i know.

My youngest has been at the Small World for almost 2 years now, shes loving every moment there, she has done so many things at this daycare. She has been at preschool and currently in private kindergarten. She has taken swimming class and even clinic for soccer. They have done so many for the holidays like for Mothers day, Halloween, Thanksgiving feast and so on. I am a working mom and I really want the best for her so it was really convenient for me to bring her there since most of the extra curricular activities are provided or brought to the kids in this facility like her tumbling class. She loves her instructor so much, even her teachers. She wants to be a teacher sister someday, I dont know what she meant but that shows how shes being influenced so much with the guidance that the adults teach/show her there, of course she loves all her playmates and her classmates and friends there.

From the first day I dropped my son off he has never been happier. I recently had to take my son out of his old daycare for him being beat up, the teacher wasnt doing preschool, had no structure or curriculum. I was referred to small world and from the second I walked in I loved the atmosphere and the teachers. They were so open to accepting my son and doing what it takes to get him in and caught up. He now calls me just to say what a good day he had and all hes learned. Great teachers who truly love the kids. Couldnt be happier. oh and price is 150.00 cheaper then previous place, another great bonus. thanks small world for helping me leave my son and knowing what great care hes getting.

My daughter went here and my son goes here now both, if you dont have the luxury to stay home with you children this is the place that I recommend! The staff is attentive and competent I know when I have a concern or question I know I can talk to them. No daycare is perfect but this one is pretty great. They have an outstanding preschool program that has taught my son so many things I am always amazed by what he has learned. I have been taking my children to Small World in West Jordan for many years. My son is now too old but my daughter loves going to Small World. The teachers are great with the children and the management team Patti, Vanessa and Jennifer are terrific. If I ever have any concerns or questions regarding anything, one of them are always quick to get it resolved for me. Small World offers extracurricular activies such as dance class which my daughter loves and it is great for me because it would otherwise be difficult to put her in dance. They also have a great summer program with lots of fun activities which my children have always enjoyed. I feel fortunate to have a good child care in which I can send my children to and not worry about the quality of care that they are receiving.

I have been taking my child to these guys for 3 years now. Carmen is amazing! My child loves her! She will continue going until we do not need child care anymore.

We havent been here for very long but so far weve had a great experience! At other daycares, my son seemed to have an incident report or injury every other day. I havent had anything like that here. The staff is very friendly, always greet me, answers my questions over the phone (I tend to call a lot) and I feel very welcomed here. Carmen and Natalie seem like really care. Thanks everyone!

Sending your kid to any daycare can be nerve wracking as a parent. You want to make sure that your child is being taken care of when you cant be there. Small World has exceeded my expectations in a daycare facility. They take care of both my child and my peace of mind.

My daughter started going to Small Worlds when she was 6 months old. She is now 4. We love it there. She really loves her teachers. They have been great to work with. I’m very comfortable with her going there. I know she is loved and well taken care of. My sisters’ kids also go there. She has had the same positive experience. I’m pregnant with my second and he will also be going there when it’s time. I love that they are open from 6am-7pm. I’m a nurse. Finding a daycare that was willing to work with my 3 12’s nursing shifts was a nightmare. My daughter originally started out going to Tilly Time and I was very uncomfortable and disappointed with them. I was told by them that I was not “allowed” to call and check on my baby (In 12 hours, I would call once on my lunch break to see how my baby was). As soon as they said that I pulled her and went and talked to Jen at Small Worlds. She was as appalled as I was that a daycare center would tell me I wasn’t allowed to check on my baby. They immediately got my daughter into their center.I really like that Small Worlds keep the front door locked at all times. Only parents with a pass code can enter. There is always someone sitting up front. They are very good about monitoring who comes in and out. My mom, who doesn’t usually pick my daughter up and wasn’t recognized, was stopped and asked to show ID when she picked up my daughter. We both thought that was great. Even though my mom had the code to get in the front door and was able to check my daughter out in the computer system, it made me feel more at ease knowing they pay attention and aren’t afraid to stop people from taking kids if they are not familiar.

I have sent two kids to Small World daycare at West Jordan location from summer 2012 to Dec 2012. One is 4-5 and the other two. It is on the way to my work so it is convenient and price is competitive.After 2 months, I took my elder daughter out of school with reasons:1. They do not have a good quality environment for learning2. There are violence and teacher fail to protect kidsHere are some of my experience at small world:a. One time, I came to the playground and some teacher stand in the shade (hot in summer) while one boy bully and scream at a girl and she just scare and cry out while teachers did not know or they get used to it and ignore ... ?b. One time, I drop off my elder daughter and hear the teacher scream at her student literally very loud that I never experience before. Maybe, some of her kids drive her crazy and she lost her control. Is this a good and professional way to teach kids ...?c. One day, there is a boy just throw a rock to my daughter and I take her out of that school. That is a story for my elder daughter. Here is the story for the younger one. I feel the teachers work hard and see the foods are good so I still keep her at this school. I have respect and like the teachers so I still want to keep her at small world. However, she got bites, scratch and other violence from other boys outside playground. The teachers told me that she play with some toy then a boy come and ask and just bite to get the toy. I have talked to the director and hope that is improved, but things did not change and my daughter got one more bite and last time she got scratch close to the eye so my wife decide to take her out of school immediately. During this time, I also know that some other kids also got hurt (mostly girls)Now I learn the safety of our children is the most important. I cannot save sometime or money to send my children to somewhere with bully and violence or did not get a good quality of education and environment. Our children deserve a good quality of education where they can play, learn and grow safe and happy. My kids are scared to come back to small world especially the younger one to school.I have talked to the director a few time about this directly, but she keep saying that everything has been good and young kids bite, fight etc which are normal and so on rather than take it seriously. It sounds like that is not a big deal to her. However, that is absolutely a big deal to us and I am glad that I take them out quick enough before things getting worse ... I only had my 9 month old baby here for 2 days and she hit her head twice and the lady couldnt even tell me when, where, how nothing. My daughter wasnt acting like herself the second day that she hit her head and I had to rush her to the ER to get her checked out. We had to keep an eye on her ALL NIGHT AND WEEKEND. The only thing the ladies had to say is Im sorry. When I got there on Monday the next week the front lady told me that she talked with the teachers in the back and everything was fine. I didnt and wont feel comfortable leaving my 9 month old that cant really walk yet at a place that doesnt seem to be watching her very well there on her own. I tried to unenroll my daughter on Wednesday the day before Thanksgiving but they closed early. Thats okay, but they are making me still pay them until December 6th because they have to have a 2 week notice. I should give them my ER bill instead of paying them, but we will pay them because were good people. But this is the most ridiculous thing ever. THEY DIDNT EVEN SEEM TO CARE THAT SHE HAD TO BE RUSHED TO THE ER.... WONT BE GOING HERE AGAIN. IF THIS HAD A -STAR I WOULD PICK THAT.

This daycare was terrible. My son was in the three year old room with 30 other kids. They had no clue from day to day what he did or didnt do. When he was working on potty training they eventually got frustrated with him and gave up, putting him back in the two year old room without informing us. Their reasoning was that they were not equipped in the three year old room to help him. Dont most kids potty train at three? Some take longer than others. My son was 100% potty trained at home at the time, we only seemed to keep having a problem at daycare. They have several teachers that rotate around, hence the confusion and lack of knowledge as to what is going on with the individual kid. The director was even more clueless than the teachers as she manages two care centers and switches between the two. Her solutions to problems were never put in place. Our complaints were never actually heard and acted upon. I found my kid on several occasions outside with no socks and shoes on and that was ok with them because he did not want to wear his shoes. They had no control over the kids. As a teacher in the Canyons District with a Masters in Education, I can successfully say if you send your kids here you should be prepared for the worst possible care. Your kid will come home dirty, sick and upset at some point. I personally have found private care for my kids now. And guess what? My kids are happy, my son is fully potty trained everywhere,everyday, and we have not been sick in a while.Go figure!!!! Steer clear of this center!!!!!!

Daughters been going here on and off for the last 4 years. This is the only daycare that she actually love. The teachers and the kids there, we appreciate all that they do.

The love care and support that all of these beautiful ladies give to our son is amazing they all know him find name they look after him they teach him things he comes home from school we call it school knowing new things the amount of Blossom and he has done in the past year that weve taken him here its amazing weve met him there after having a run-in with a really rotten babysitter and Im so grateful for these beautiful people at SMALL WORLD

I love all of the people there. They are like family to us and treat all of our kids ( wither they go there or not) like their own and are very loved. We have never had any problems with them and all of the staff go the extra mile.

This is a joke of a schoolThis is the required 2 week notice I had to submit to withdraw my daughter after explaining I wanted short term care (a week or 2 tops, until SoJo had an opening). The following CLEARLY outlines my frustrations, as well as an overview of their staff professionalism (or lack thereof). Not to mention, their level of care given to children who attend.Hello,It has come to my attention that their is a 2 week notice needed in order to withdraw my daughter from your center.Let me start off by saying this is the most unusual, unprofessional, and inconsistent environment that Ive ever experienced.( Ive been in early education for 8 years.) You and your staff have failed to be helpful in any way possible, except the for gain of money. Instead of true care which is what you are there for.When I called in on Thursday about an opening I was told there wasnt one, but was told to come in on Friday to put my daughter in the waiting list. On Friday, (driving 12 miles) when my family came in to do so, I was asked who I spoke with and what was said regarding my daughter attending... which let me know you all are a joke of communicating with each other, especially if all slots were full. That same day miraculously after doing a tour there was a spot open for my daughter to attend.During my tour I expressed my need for this to be short term due to my other daughter being in a different school in my location. (South Jordan, which, according to your assistant director, was out of your area of transportation... and we immediately let her know we would DEFINITELY be short term with plans to move her with her sister who already had placement in South Jordan)I paid my 25 dollars for her registration and was given a packet. And honestly I felt that shouldve been the time for the assistant director to let me know I needed to pay attention to that part, since I CLEARLY mentioned I was SHORT TERM! Instead you took my money and let it be. So with that being said, though my daughter has only been there for 7 days, those 7 days has been hard, period.I question your staff care for my daughter because she would cry every day coming in, and she has been in daycares since she was 12 weeks old and never happened, ever. I question your staff care because it even smelt like horse s*** walking into your center every single day. Every...day. literally. Every...day.Though Ive spoken to you in person, you neglected once again to refer to your ridiculous terms that you want to say that Ive initialed. Which i did, understanding that Ive already spoke to your staff about the short term. Now Im obligated to pay the remainder weeks of her not being in your care. This is completely disgusting.And with that being said, for your notes and mine, my 2 weeks was told to you, as well as your assistant upon paying.But, for your records, this email to you serves as an official written 2 week notice, as you request.We wont be coming back into your center again. She didnt have her 2 backup outfits in her named cubby, or her bag which her items were brought in, so you can accept them both as donations for other children.Please respond to this email with an address to send any ADDITIONAL payments you are requiring for our 7 day stay at your facility.

STAY AWAY YOUR KIDS IN THIS DAY CARE! absolutely the worst day care! Your kids can get sick all the time specially 2 years and younger.

Okay for older kids but 2 and younger do NOTwaste your time here! When I would pick up my baby girl no one seemed to know what she did all day. Id ask what did she eat? When did she sleep? Id get the same answer everyday. I dont know Im not her teacher this place is ridiculous!! They NEVER let her walk or play be literally put her in the bouncer saucer all day long so my kid turned one years old and never learned how to walk because nobody would practice with her except for me when we were at home. Moms B where do you not take your children here. This place is dirty overcrowded and filled with teenagers that dont know anything. If you live in the Jordan area or Sandy Draper areaI highly recommend Jack and Jill daycare amazing place my daughter did phenomenal absolutely loved it!

Our son has been going there for the last 4 yrs and he loves it!

I have not had a child there. I went there for other reasons. One of the workers was holding a crying 6-8 week old while talking on the phone to a customer and looking at the computer. Felt bad for the little guy. Also, they have a camera in the room behind counter that has been turned to face the wall. Why would someone do that? Most of this is gut instinct. I talked to a friend that was there and he felt the same way.
