AMAZING! Really enjoyed watching the students and instructor/owner work together professionally and yet they were warm and friendly like a family. I got a perm! Yes like 1983! Sarah did a great job and made me feel good about my decision...my perm turned out even better and more modern than I could have expected! Liz sculpted my eyebrows and I left feeling like a million but not breaking the bank! Thanks girls!

I love this place so much! Such nice genuine people and they make your hair look AMAZING. I swear I feel like a model every time I leave this place. Props to Gaby the instructor for being such an amazing teacher to her students and caring about other people’s hair just as if it was her own. I highly recommend going to this place, I promise you’ll fall in love.

So impressed! Ive gone here and theyve never made a mistake. I recently went in to get a styled shave and cut my hair shorter and I LOVE the results. My stylist was Kat and this was her first time doing a stylized shave, but it looks great. If you do go in I definitely recommend booking her. Plus huge bonus the girls are all soooo sweet. 10/10 have recommended this place to all of my friends.

I had some time to kill yesterday in Wenatchee WA so decided I’d get my hair foiled, cut & a blow dry! I had no appointment at my regular salon. A person mentioned the Academy for students in training. They take walk-ins. I decided I’d try it out. I found all personnel & students to be very nice & easy to communicate with. My hair dresser was “Joanna. “ I enjoyed my conversation very much with this young woman. She did an excellent job foiling/coloring my hair, cutting & styling. I can honestly say I usually go to very high end Best & expensive salons. Well! No more! I’m just absolutely elated with my hair. When I got home my husband loved it. I sent photos to my adult children . They also loved my hair. The instructor is right there to guide & give hands on help to all of the students. I would recommend Zaras to all my friends and family. They gave me the best experience on every level. My whole family felt like we were a part of there family. The student Juan was great and the teachers that helped were just as amazing! We love our haircuts!! They did a great job with mine. And they made my 3 year old son feel safe and comfortable. Paid $120 for my hair done that i don’t think was worth $120, but they’re willing to fix it after the fact of me complaining that i’m not going to pay more for something that got messed up on

Gabby is awesome. The students are very fortunate to get to learn from such an experienced professional. I am so impressed with her professionalism and teaching skills.They all do awesome jobs and are very professional.

I am very pleased with the leadership of Gabby which is reflected in and through her students. Some people might feel hesitant to allow someone who is not a professional do their hair, but with the appropriate oversight and quality instruction provided, these students excel, and I come out looking like a beauty queen!!! What a wonderful program for building a beautiful community, from inside out!!!

I got a perm last week and absolutely love it! It was a great environment. The students seemed to really enjoy and were knowledgeable about what they were doing and Gabby the instructor was great at checking in to see how everything was going.

This is the only place I get my hair cut. Its a school, so theres usually some wait involved as the staff are sometimes a little timid and you need to wait for their teachers to come by and check to see that everythings been done right, but as a result the price cant be matched. Everyones also been super friendly every time Ive gone.

We went to get my daughters hair cut an hour before they closed and the owner informed me they were closing. I inquired about her posted hours and she said that unless she has students there was no one to cut hair. There was one student clocking out, another finishing a cut and a third who walked out from the back. I asked if she was willing to cut my daughters hair as it was all she wanted to do today and I was told no. Myself and my daughter were extremely disappointed with her lack of professionalism and extreme lack of attempting to help. An hour before closing.. no excuse! Just help your customers!!
