Aqua Babies is a great class. My toddler has been able to start getting more comfortable in the pool and learn some great skills to help keep her safe in the pool. We love our instructor Stacy!

They were able to make accommodations for my 2 children to be in at the same time and receive expert level tutelage that yields progress every session.

Such personal attention with the teacher being in tune with each of our kids needs. Have tried different places over the years, and there is no comparison.

This place is simply amazing. My almost 8 year old daughter has been swimming since she was 5 months old at various schools La Petite Baleen, Happy Fish, ASA Dublin and Livermore. None of those places compare to ASA Walnut Creek.Annie is the best deckhand I have every encountered. She is so involved always watching the students and talking to them on how to get better. She also does it in a way that even my 3 year old daughter learns and applies right away. She is simply magic. The teachers we just adore are Anna, Troy and Brittany. Anna as my 5 year old puts it is the greatest teacher ever. She knows how to motivate kids and make the learning fun yet pushes them hard every time. She has a perfect balance to her way of teaching.Troy is very hands on. He will literally hold the kids arms and show them exactly how they should do it. He also makes games out of everything so the kids are eager to try out what he is saying. My nearly 8 year old begs to go to class with him.Brittany is also great. She is perhaps the most patient teacher I have seen. She had a very calming personality which was great for my hesitant 3 year old. She was able to get her comfortable in the water very quickly. My youngest never wants to get out of the water when Brittany is teaching.I love this place.

Great place to learn the basics for swimming as an adult or baby. My instructor is awesome ans currently the ratio of student to instructor is 2:1 for adults. Each student has his/her dedicated lane throughout the lesson. The instructors wear faceshields throughout the lesson and there is someone monitoring your progress as well. Your progression stickers are texted to you.

Have had a great experience, my child loves coming every week, and I can see her making progress. Courtney is great, my daughter loves her (and this is no small feat, she can be shy).

Warm water, indoor, so no getting out in the cold, good covid safety protocols and great teachers.Edit: a year later, still covid, still love ASA, and added a photo of our favorite teachers! Only change is that now the kiddo can swim and wash his hair on his own, from a start of hating water on his face and especially me washing hair. Well worth it!We tried Aquatech - Alameda, Albany High Pool, The Plunge, Canyon Swim School, El Cerrito Community Pool before finding ASA.
