My children have thrived in this school. 2020 brought a lot of stress to the schools, and ESA has handled it extremely well and with poise. They have made virtual learning fun, while also not over complicating things for the parents. The content and curriculum is wonderful, and the resources are above my expectations and past experience with other schools. My children seem to enjoy going to this school now that they are back, and we couldnt be happier. Thank you ESA for being our light in the dark.

I go to this school and personally, it isn’t that good. Some teachers (not all) discriminate and some kids get in trouble for no reasons. Some teachers favor certain kids and treats them nicely and differently than others. It’s unfair to those other kids. Personally, I love some of the teachers here in the middle school staff, but some are just straight up mean to those they don’t find interesting. Also, the dress code here is horrible. Even your socks have to be dress code and it’s insane. If you are okay with the dress code than the school shouldn’t be super hard for your child as it is for those who don’t like the dress code. Personally, the only good things about this school in the middle school area is Steam class and Science class. My younger sister is in the elementary school and she comes home talking about how she doesn’t want to go to school and how other kids bully her. If you send your child here, please be aware of all this. Your child can make good friends though!

Attended this school from 2015 - 2018. PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR MIDDLE SCHOOL CHILD TO THIS SCHOOL. I’m now a sophomore in high school and more behind in school then I have ever been. I was put into classes that I shouldn’t have been recommended for. Some of the teachers here are great teachers, many of them do not have any experience at all. There curriculum does not fit into the high school curriculum. Some of the children there are not well mannered and sometimes not the kindest people to the staff and other students. Many kids that come out of this middle school end up being made fun of in high school. Heritage, Wake Forest, Wakefield and all the other middle schools are way better. Terrible, I mean how can a school get so terrible. Never attend your child here.

People are nice sometimes, but the rules are pretty dumb. Carpool downstairs has turned into a nightmare to be honest. The teachers are pretty good and you learn a lot though. But I’m running out of there as soon as possible 🏃‍♀️.

My son loves it. I wish there was a little better communication with teachers and parents, but overall I really think its been great for my 1st grader.

They need better teachers who understand that students, parents, and everyone else involved with the students/school are their customers. Some of the teachers here are just rude and nasty.

This school tends to disappoint me on a regular basis. Some teachers, (Not all), show a superlative amount of favoritism. Also, they give certain kids great leisure when disciplining them. Some students are rude, but we obviously cant change anything. Ive also had classes that repeated lessons. I have a younger sibling who went here and he has had 8 different teachers in a time span of three years (one or more teachers per year). Sometimes my peers get in trouble for no reason. Im not hating, just stating my opinion. Elementary and Middle School academics are not bad, but I recommend not sending your kid here if you think the administration and disciplinary actions are better than other schools.

Trash school got suspended twice for no reason. Also the half teachers do not have degrees in what they are teaching or no teaching degrees at all. Dont recommend any middle school child should ever go here.

My son is currently a second grader at Envision. The teachers are absolutely amazing. Not even just his, but the school as a whole. They are very welcoming and understand the mission of the school. They are dedicated and knowledgeable. Overall you see the passion of teaching through them, which makes it a great basis for any student. Their communication with parents is quick and websites are up-to-date.My son loves being able to switch classes throughout the day. This allows for specialized teaching for subject bases. He loves the project based learning. Just in the past few weeks he has made snow and a water bottle tornado for their unit on weather, a tree house for community unit plus projects on themselves (Me Museum) and dressing up like a community helper. This interactive learning brings them into the 21st century. The 18:1 student to teacher ratio and a max of 72 children per grade causes a close knit school community. The children know each other and there is very little student turnover. Going from kindergarten through 8th grade allows for longtime friendships. This is a STEAM school (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) and they have a large community network supporters (SAS, NCSU, The Artful Mind, the walking classroom, GE). The teachers work together to make their units spread across multiple subjects. They have many field trips into the community to show real life examples. The administration and the office staff are wonderful to work with. Your child is not another number to them or anyone in the school. They know you, your child and how best to help each and every one of them.If your child has an IEP or 504 or needs one, they are really helpful about accommodations and making sure everything is in place. There is a great Exceptional Children team to add support to those who need it.I dont want to leave out the specialists. The school has physical education, Mandarin, art, music for all grade levels. These teachers work with the other grade level teachers to help expand the units the children are currently working on in whatever way possible. I know there are more offerings for the middle school level but I am not sure of them.
