Went to school here from 2009 to 2014 when I graduated from the animation program. I made life time friends and we have started a company together. Wouldnt change it for the world. That beings alot has change since I was there but still know some faces. Worth a look if your into a christian education.

Such a prestigious University, our Lord has blessed this University to the fullest.

This theater would have certainly received 5 stars had I not witnessed an elderly gentleman fall on his backside while walking up the steps (on the lower level) and injure himself. This incident made me realize the need for a rail in the middle of the aisle on both sides of the theater. If he had a rail to hold onto, he would not have fallen. Approximately 80% of the audience were seniors, and this could easily happen again. Other than that, this is a beautiful venue.

Im an online student in the divinity school. Ive been a student since fall 2019. While at times Ive had disagreements with teachers or classmates, the atmosphere of this school is very Jesus centered. I called in to my student advisor today and they took the time to not only answer my questions and help me but pray for me afterwards. I cannot thank this school enough for the respect, understanding and thoughtfulness I have experienced from Regents Staff.

Ive been an online student at Regent since January of 2020. The school itself is wonderful, the professors seem to genuinely care about your education and they want to see you succeed. However, there is one professor that does not embody this and has tainted my perception of RU; professor Stephen Russell. I do not recommend this professor, he is dismissive, unreasonable, frigid and inconsiderate. Hes unhelpful, lacks empathy and does not set you up to succeed. This is a great school, that has very genuine professors, however, I encourage you to please do your research when enrolling in these courses. Im very disappointed in my most recent experience here at Regent, Ive never encountered a professor so condescending and privileged. I would just like to prevent others from having the same experience.

Just finished my cooties test so I can move in. The ones administering the test were kind and very gentle. The school is rather simple to navigate once youre used to the campus. The students are friendly and the staff and teachers are even more friendly. This is a wonderful school to be a part of.

This hotel is like taking a trip down memory lane. Staying here is comfortable but missing the upgrades of modern hotel. The rooms are considered nice but missing the customer service and experience.

No one at Founders Inn was willing to even listen to my concerns. I have several chronic health conditions and woke up this morning to water dripping into the middle of room 3115 at Founders Inn in Virginia Beach VA. I am sick and need to go home today as a result. The front desk person claims to be the manager and she says I cannot be issued any type of refund. I spent an hour online trying to find the phone number for booking.com because she told me that the Founders Inn is not responsible for addressing refund requests and that booking.com is responsible, even though the leaking air conditioner is sending me home early sick one day into my first break from work since COVID-19 started in March.

On the phone waiting again, trying to get through to advising. Ive called but Im either hung up on or Im waiting 15mins before I hang up. Ive emailed also. So I guess, I will go with another college. This is a review to let Regent know lol, not that you care 🤷.God Bless.

Wonderful little theater with orchestra for this current musical production of Little Women. The story was more whimsical than the movie production with Winona Ryder. The addition of songs added to the enjoyment. Marmee, especially had a full beautiful voice, as did Beth. Actors lined up and were easily accessible to anyone who wanted to greet them after the performance.

‘She loves me’Yes she does! Absolutely standing ovation all the way through. Beyond a top notch production. The acting was believable. The vocals impeccable. I had to pinch myself several times to realize I was in Va Beach Va and not on Broadway.Regent University you out-did yourself. I will be back....

Good theater, no matter where you sit in the theater, you will be in a good position to the stage. It has a big screen, balcony seating, and a real theater atmosphere. Clean bathrooms, and clean building and grounds in general, special handicapped restrooms, plenty of parking, and a nice safe Christian atmosphere

I have been to Regent University Theatre a number of times and it is always an outstanding evening of entertainment with amazing actors/actresses. Took my Girls this past weekend to see Little Women the musical and was enamoured by the talent and singing skills from the entire cast. Yet another night of memorable incredible talent. #betterthanbroadway

Getting my psychology degree from here and absolutely love this school! I have been to one other college before coming to regent (university of north Georgia) and I can tell the difference when taking classes for regent! I would highly recommend!

Such a beautiful building, it really takes you back and has been taken care of very well. It was cold the night we were there but the building was nice and toasty. Just the grand resplendent lobby with its chandelier and tiled floors. Magnificent.

Regent University is a beautiful place. Their theater is high quality in that their performances are amazing experience. They always have good theatrical shows and awesome musicians and entertainment worth seeing. You will enjoy an event there.

I absolutely love Regent. I obtained my MBA in Non-For-Profit Management and could not have had a better experience! The professors are top notch with great real world experience and excellent education backgrounds (Harvard). They were always hands on and very accessible for questions and mentoring. The student life was excellent and I made life long friends from all over the world. I highly recommend Regent for any level student.

Great school, peaceful campus, world class professors in the Divinity School. Very well renowned Law School as well. A bit pricey, but worth it. School has a charismatic theological heritage that is present in some of the classes, but there is a diversity of traditions represented. Diversity in the student and faculty population is well-represented. If you are led here, you will be academically and spiritually challenged. Highly Recommend!

Regent University prescribes to a diverse image; although when met with evidence of hate crimes has done nothing. There have been several instances of harassment toward interracial couples without pursuit of conviction for the guilty parties that have been named. If Regent truly values education for all people; there should be a proactive action to preserve a healthy campus! Do not pursue a degree from this university.

Do NOT go here unless you want to integrate the Bible into EVERY SINGLE COURSE. I do not understand how Newsweek rated this as one of the best online Bachelor programs. You have to take a full years worth of religious courses (each class over $1,000), AND every single assignment requires you to weave in biblical aspects. I wish someone warned me NOT to go here unless I wanted to be miserable for years about the decision. This is for TRULY RELIGIOUS people, not an average student trying to finish their degree online.

Faith based safety and security seminar put on by InfraGard. Regent furnished the space. Table setup for breakfast and lunch. Also audio video techs to run presenter slides. Everything went smoothly. Quality presentations from all speakers. Excellent facilities and support.

Regent University was one of the greatest and most maturing moments in my life and walk with the Lord. Majoring in Cinema-Television, I soaked in as much information as I could and attended as many film symposium screenings as I could between studies as well. Ive made acquaintances and friends for life. I went on a mission trip and I pray to become a Christian leader one day through Gods power to change the world for His glory alone.

Our Professor Dr Jay Gary was absolutely spectacular as a lecturer, coach and foresight practitioner that functions as an influential futurist. Amazing place that has amazing faculty. I completed my Masters degree online, and received an outstanding education. The faculty and students are not strangers. So, if you want an online program where you feel connected, this is the place!

They put on really good shows at Regent for a much more reasonable price than the bigger venues. The student productions are usually just as good as their professional pieces. We go to see every show!

When I went to register for what I was promised to be my final semester they told me I had 21 elective credits missing. These were not listed on my degree plan, and I was never told about them. I ended up taking an extra year of classes that had to be unrelated to my major. There was never a time I spoke to the same counselor twice. Very disorganized. I am extremely dissatisfied

Most of the teachers that Ive interacted with have been outstanding and reasonable individuals with the one exception of a new prof out to prove himself.The financial aid and business office, however, so significant lack of unity and have continually given me misinformation. Thus giving me a great deal of anxiety and stress in dealing with finances.

The facilities and curricula were excellent. The professors were wise, knowledgeable, fair, and truly wanted students to succeed. The small class sizes personalized the learning experience. The whole campus had a familial atmosphere.

There is something about people that stand for high values and integrity, in a world where anything is acceptable and everything is excused. Personally, I would love to attend the school, but if Gods will leads me in another direction, I will always admire the character and moral values of the institution.

The Robertson School of Government and Regent Law School are top-notch for the following reasons: small class size and professor interaction (on campus and online); great professors who have amazing experience in the fields they are teaching in and are publishing books and articles on a regular basis to contribute to their fields of academic expertise; activities and events on campus; military-friendly environment; networking and career services advising; mentorship; and potential for developing leaders in their fields. Although the university is experiencing significant growth in its undergraduate program numbers, the graduate programs academicians and academic rigor continue to make Regent a top leadership development university.

First time there. Love the smaller more intimate venue to see the Virginia Symphony performing Handels Messiah. We had dinner at Swann Terrace next door prior to the show. It was a marvelous evening!

Not even sure that this is a real school. From the moment I clicked on line to get more information I have received nothing but incessant telemarketing phone calls and emails. Agreed to apply because they told me they would waive the application fee. From that point on I did nothing else gave them no information wrote no essays just simply applied and they took that to assume that I was attending their school registered me for classes all without ever speaking to me. Gives the impression that this is a business not a school that they just want as many bodies registered in their online university as possible to make more money. Decided to write this review after telling two people that I had no interest in attending their school and I am still receiving emails welcoming me and telling me when my classes will start.

The Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership program at Regent University is exceptional. Professors within the School of Business and Leadership hold students to the highest expectations but are significantly more developmental than faculty at other schools I have attended. My tenure as a doctoral student was the most stretching experience of my life, but the resultant growth and development exceeded my greatest expectations. I highly recommend Regent to anyone looking for a first-rate education from an institution operating from a Christian worldview.

Looking over the other reviews, it seems most people either love Regent or hate it. Ive had the privilege of attending both a state public school (on full merit scholarship) an Regent, and have to say that Regent is exceptional. It is a Christian school. There are required classes in Christian history, Old Testament and New Testament, as well as Christian leadership and worldview. This is not uncommon at Christian schools, and if it bothers you, this isnt the place for you. But I am personally a politically moderate Christian, maybe even a tad socially progressive. In the Christian classes, the instructors ENCOURAGE you to question, respectfully, so long as you are using biblical foundation. We had many discussions and even debates on Christian philosophy - it was a very welcoming, open environment.As for the traditional courses, I studied Business Administration and Human Resources Management. The vast majority of my classes were excellent. We were expected EVERY WEEK to engage in discussion using scholarly sources, peer reviewed industry journals. Our discussions and assignments had to stand on their own in a secular environment, and ALSO be supported by scriptural principles. Every one of my instructors was well educated and experienced in their fields. I personally found the HR instructors to be a bit weak on the instructional side, but everyone knew their material.The campus is beautiful. Chapel services regularly (but optional), many different sources for support, an excellent library. I took my classes online but spent many hours on campus anyway. Great school, would do it again in a heartbeat.

Yes, this university has some profound, excellent professors, but if you are looking for SAFE, DIVERSE, FAIR, and HONEST campus-DO NOT GO HERE. All offices give you the hardest time trying to get anything done-whether it be financial aid to scheduling classes. RACISTS on campus and NOTHING DONE about it-numerous cases and instances on campus where nothing was done-even in THREATENING circumstances. Complete biased and teuly dishonest in their Christian integrity. Numerous incidents have occurred on campus where students safety may be at risk and the campus police are late or not involved enough and the students are recommended to not spread the accidents that occur.Overall dishonesty, hatred, and little to none signs of a Christian campus lifestyle.

I had some issues with the admission staff in applying. I would not recommend this college to others. I found the admission staff to be very belittling and stated I was confused when I followed all the instructions in the application process. There are other, less expensive colleges, with better admission staff.

I finished my Bachelors Degree here and now I am in the School of Psychology and Counseling. I have enjoyed my experience as an online student since my first semester. The professors are helpful and truly want you to succeed.

We saw their radio play version of Its a Wonderful Life in their little black box theater and it was so AWESOME.

This schools film program is terrible. I didnt receive nearly as much experience as I should have, and their film equipment is not as high quality or available as it should be. The school administrators clearly dont care about the students or the quality of their education. They suck you in with how nice their campus looks, but once they have your money, they couldnt care less. Worse still, if you dont completely adhere to this schools policies and beliefs, you are shunned. I do not recommend this university to ANYONE.

I earned an undergraduate degree online. I really enjoyed it. Know that Regent is going to make you work. They assign a LOT of writing. I usually had to write about 500 words a week minimum for each course discussion board. An additional a weekly research paper (or a very long final paper) were common requirements, especially for my upper-level courses. This requires a lot of reading, researching and and citing references. If you can get through it, you will come out an exceptional writer.

Regent was a wonderful experience--the staff and faculty were open, honest, and dedicated. Regent provided me with an academic rigor and relevancy that has already paid off. I highly recommend Regent.

No Christian college is going to be perfect. Also as they trasition from a Graduate School only to a Undergraduate school as well, there will be some growing pains. Not everyone who goes to a Christian College is going to be a Christian. They have some of the top professors in the nation, great campus and Christ centered education. Wonderful opportunity!

Five of us, including an 80 year old, attended Handels Messiah at the Regent University Theatre last night, December 13, 2018. The performance started at 8:00pm and we arrived at 7:15pm to utter chaos in the parking lot. There were thousands of cars, way more than one would expect for a performance at the Theatre. We were directed to the farthest parking lot possible from the Theatre despite having a handicapped parking placard. We were told perfunctorily there were no more nearby parking spaces and no more handicapped parking spaces, with a curt apology. So the five of us including an 80 year old grandmother trundled the nearly half mile through grass fields, dirt paths, and across sandy playgrounds, all in the dark, and in heels and symphony wear, to finally arrive at the Theatre where every entrance was roped off save for the front entrance where we had to go through some kind of tacky christmas circus event with popcorn and jumpy houses and a thousand screaming kids. We had to have our bags checked at the circus before we could even get near the Theatre. To say this was poor planning is a massive understatement. It was idiotic and a disgrace to plan a Virginia Symphony event in the same location as a chaotic christmas carnival event. To add insult to injury, we passed 19 open handicapped parking spaces on our trek from our car to the Theatre. With this kind of decision making going on at Regent University, I highly doubt we will ever attend anything there ever again.

As to my knowledge. This school has shown me so much sarcasm when it comes to learning about the education in the Lord. He who knows, will not know. I came here for a brief education during the first semester and only received a lot of freshman young ladies offering sex for homework help. I am ashamed of this institution and will no longer re apply in this LOCATION.

Nice theater, except when the hourly bells rang, which was kind of cool (just couldnt hear the movie).

While so many seem to have nothing but negativity to spew about Regent, I would argue that they clearly have either not been there, not been a student there, or are simply trying to defame what is in actuality a fantastic school. I am in my first year at Regent as a freshman, and it is as fine a school as I have ever seen. The majority of schools in our country today are secular and progressive in teaching, which is of course an attempt to brainwash young students into a postmodern way of thinking. At Regent, not only is Christian faith at the center of all teachings, it is expressed by all of the wonderful staff and facilities here at Regent. I have never felt so safe, so welcome, or so loved anywhere in all my life. The police force and security here is outstanding, the dorms are some of the best quality Ive ever seen, and the sheer multitude of clubs and extra-curricular activities is beyond my comprehension. Every single teacher and student I have encountered here has been friendly and open in their speech and mannerism, and I have not for even one second felt like I was unwelcome or in an environment that does NOT...promote peace and love, as Sheri Pociluyko so ignorantly stated in her review a month ago. In response to her outrageous review, I dont recommend her at all! Please, when considering Regent, put aside any negative things you have heard beforehand and come see it for yourself; I promise you will be amazed!

I applied here because they offer political communication online, the application was pretty straight forward but what was annoying was that an admissions person called me early in the morning or late in the evening EVERYDAY. I was eventually accepted into the program, but I didnt want to accept just yet because I was waiting on other schools to get back to me. They still called me everyday around 6 or 7 am and I just ignored them. I kept getting emails about tuition or enrolling and I still ignored them because I wasnt sure my plans yet.I took an 8 am call this morning and found out that I had been ENROLLED in regent university by an admissions person who had apparently been calling me and annoying me about applying. THEY DIDNT LET ME ACCEPT THE OFFER THEY JUST ENROLLED ME WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. Now I have 2 options, wait 3 years for me to be considered withdrawled, or fill out a bunch of paperwork and formally withdrawal.I am extremely upset with the unprofessionalism of this university and their admissions you should NEVER enroll someone for them or accept admissions on their behalf. Even if I was sure I was going to go there, I can do that myself!I would just advise not to apply here unless youre absolutely sure its the place for you because their admissions is extremely overbearing, annoying, clingy, and flat outright unethical.

One of my favorite thing Regent does are the Christmas Lights you should really check them out if you are going to see Christmas Lights I promise Regent will not disappoint.

Terrible college. Look elsewhere. Staff is terrible to contact about anything, so do not even try to get answers to your questions. They will not help you. If you so dare desire to try, good luck with even reaching the right person in any department. You will reach more voicemails and dial prompts than you will an actual person. Will they call you back? Of course not... Now the professors... Think they are there to teach you something? Majority of the professors could care less if you pass; they do not assist in any way. Have a job, family, or something urgent? To bad, its not the professors problem. Have a question on something you read? Professor : Read the book again or Google it. I completed my program and have waited nearly a year for my diploma. Spoke with financial aid, registrar, and the academic advisors, no assistance. None of them can give me accurate information as to why.

Im currently a student I have had such a positive experience with Regent that i felt the need to share. Advisors are informative and willing to help you achieve your goals. The Professors are patient and understanding. Regent has many helping hands willing to do anything they can to accommodate your needs. Im so Blessed to be apart of a school that shares and supports the same values that I do!! Im proud to be a student at Regent University!

I am a current student (online) at Regent, and I love it. There are pros and cons to any college. Funny though...reading through the reviews I have seen the one by Robert Ninet over 6 months ago, but it as posted AGAIN saying it is only a week old. Each of his reviews said the EXACT SAME THING...so I would take it with a grain of salt. People are always going to try to slander a Christian school. If you are looking for a Christian education, Regent is a great choice! I have had very supportive experiences with my professors and my academic advisor.

I went to see Handels Messiah, conducted by JoAnn Falletta. It was a great concert with beautiful music.

The Christmas Village was disappointing and seemed unorganized. They should have had a police officer directing traffic. It was almost impossible to make a left hand turn into the place and very dangerous.

I have shared with everyone how Regent is an excellent University and I highly recommend them. I received excellent teaching along with proper book selection for learning.
