My daughter attended Tatianas classes for a year and showed tremendous results - she navigates through colors better, learned new techniques and became more confident in her art abilities. We absolutely love Tatianas studio - its a cozy and peaceful place for kids to create their masterpieces. With great sorrow, we are saying goodbye to this amazing art teacher and wishing her all the best in Colorado. I have to say to the kids in Aurora, CO - you are lucky to have this art school in your town!!! Do not think twice and give it a try - you wont regret it!

Magic of Art Studio changed my life. I was a student there for 10 years and loved every minute of it. Tatiana is the most supportive, talented, and loving art teacher. She was an amazing person to grow up with, and I miss her all the time. Even when I do art now I think about what she would say to help me improve. Her advice will be with me for life. Her studio is an amazing, peaceful, beautiful place, and she is a wonderful person. I know her students in Colorado will love her as much as I do and will be so lucky to have her as a teacher. Magic of Art Studio is going to be missed dearly in my home town of Virginia Beach. My son has been taking art classes from Ms. Tatiana for over 2 years and he has grown so much. His love of art has expanded to different styles and being in her class allowed him the freedom to try different mediums and techniques which Ms. Tatiana nurtured. Its been an absolute joy having my son learn from such a talented and caring teacher. There are framed pieces of art my son has given as gifts to relatives and those are the most special for him and the recipient. Take her class, those who are young and those who are seasoned, those who have ever wanted to paint a picture, Ms. Tatiana will come along side you and help your creative side emerge.

Tatiana is the best teacher and mentor I could’ve ever asked for. As an adult student with unique interests, I was able to develop my skills beyond anything I could’ve ever imagined. Tatiana is unequivocally kind and intelligent and shows these qualities not only through her teaching methods but also through her art. She shares every bit of her passion in every project that her students bring to her and truly loves tapping into and illuminating every student’s natural potential. I cannot recommend Tatiana and her studio enough!

My son took art lessons with Tatiana at her studio in Virginia Beach, VA. He enjoyed it very much and learned many art techniques. Tatiana is a warm, caring, and friendly teacher. She truly loves art and is an established artist herself. We will miss her and all that she offered at her art studio.

Ms. Tatiana taught both of my teenage boys for the last two years. They loved going to her class each week b/c they got to explore art and find projects to do that they were interested in. She encouraged them to go out and find the mediums and muse that inspired them. During the pandemic, she face-timed my son for an hour each week as he would work with what products we had at home. She would create a piece right along with him. When we returned to the classroom, she gave him the works that she created- double the art, double the communication, double the love. We will miss her here in VA Beach.

Tatiana is the best art teacher. It is hard to find someone that dedicates so much individual attention to each student to help them develop the skills they are interested in learning. She is incredibly knowledgeable and has helped my daughter to grow so much as an artist. Going to class at Magic of Art is one of the highlights of my daughter’s week.

In addition to being a long-time family friend, Tatiana also guided and instructed our daughter for many years in improving her natural artistic talents. She really does bring out the artist in people! One of the kindest, most nurturing people youd ever hope to meet, she is an enthusiastic and encouraging instructor. Thank you, Tatiana, for being such an important part of our daughters artistic and self-expression journey!

I cant say enough good things about Tatiana! My daughter has been taking classes from her for about 4 years and the growth Ive seen in her artwork is amazing. When she started with Tatiana, she was just starting to do basic sketches she learned from watching YouTube videos. Since then, she has been accepted into gifted art programs in elementary and middle school and we cant wait to see where else her artistic talent takes her in life.I am forever grateful for Tatianas guidance and the important role shes played in my daughters life. The passion that she has helped spark has been such a blessing. Were sad to see her leave Virginia Beach!

My daughter has always had a passion for art and has been attending the Magic of Art Studio for 3 years. Ms. Tatianas approach is genius!!! Students come to each session with an idea that they share with Ms. Tatiana and each share their perspective that results in how to create the work of art based on an agreed upon approach. This technique has been such a positive experience for my daughter and has enabled her to expand her skills into different mediums (i.e water color, colored pencil, acrylic paint) and has given her the confidence to try new ideas on her own!!!We are so thankful we found the Magic of Art Studio and the fun and growing experience it has had on my daughter.  Ms. Tatiana is truly a kind and patient person and has an an ora about her that people want to be around!!!!

Tatiana nurtured my daughters innate artistic talent. She started at a young age and took Tatianas classes for about three years, coaching her in color and line. My daughter then made it into the Virginia Beach gifted art program at Old Donation and has continued with Virginia Beach Middles gifted art program. She wouldnt be where she is today without Tatiana!

My daughter has learned so much and loves going to class! We tried a few other places before finding Tatiana, what a difference! She definitely brings out the best in her. My daughter is very shy and Tatiana was able to get past that shyness. It was a saving grace during the Covid school closure.

I have known Tatiana Reter as an artist and as a person for many years. She is an amazing artist! All her paintings are magical and airly. They are filled with light, purity, love and grace. She is a fantastic art teacher who encourages and inspires her students to see the beauty of the world around and teaches them techniques of how to reveal this beauty in the brush strokes and colors. The drawings of her students show how skillfully they can reveal an air, light and a mood in colors.Regardless of a child age, Tatiana finds an approach to everyone and makes children fall in love with the painting.Tatiana is not only talanted artist and art teacher, but is one of the most generous, kind and beautiful people I have ever met! You will like her from a very first sight. Your children will love her! In her studio they will be plunged into the atmosphere of the magic of art and they will be happy to go to her classes.

My daughter had tremendously improved her art skills. With her practice and development she got accepted into gifted Visual arts program in Old Donation School. Tatiana is very flexible and works hard with every student and their schedule. The studio is very comfortable and feels like how the Art Studio should be.

My daughter loves the school. The teacher is outstanding.

My son loves studying art with Tatiana. We started him on one lesson per week, but he soon insisted on two. Besides technique, Tatiana emphasizes putting ones very best effort into each work. I highly recommend Magic of Art Studio!
