I took the Tamale class with my daughter in law. . Chef Kim is personable and an excellent teacher/chef. The class was so much fun and we learned to cook amazing food! The wine was a great bonus.Looking forward to taking more classes!

I stumbled upon this when I brought up I wanted to learn how to cook. Kim is an excellent teacher, very personable and always glad to help you refine your cooking skills. Having done over 10 classes now, I always enjoy the teaching, company, and the dinner that follows. The winery next door, Burnt Bridge, provides wine for the meal as an added bonus. Together, a constant winning combination. I highly recommend the class and am always looking for an excuse to go take another.

Great fun as always! Kim is a great teacher, with lots of great recipes and ideas.

This is a great find in the heart of downtown Vancouver. Classes are fun and informative, making complex dishes doable in your own home. Not only do you learn to cook something scrumptious like Paella or crab cakes, you also get to meet great people. The grand finale is sitting down with your new friends to share in the rewards of your efforts along with a carafe of award winning Burnt Bridge Cellars. Simply wonderful!

I wish i could give this business a rating, how ever - never had a chance.If you wake up with a sore throat and fever on the day of your scheduled the class, you better show up, regardless how you feel or whom you may get sick in the process, otherwise kiss your money good bye!This business expect you to know that you may be sick the day of class SEVEN DAYS in advance, to be able to reschedule. How ever, to be able to read their policy on cancellation, you need a password to get to the Terms & Cancellation site. So schedule your summer cold carefully.They may be in the hospitality business - but not very hospitable. $80 lesson to learn!

I always wanted to learn to make Tamales, never thought there were so many variations and Kim made it very fun and the other folks were also fun to cook with!
