In terms of academics, this public high school may not be the best, or even good in any ways. However, its extracurricular facilities will definitely compensate for the mentioned drawbacks, and if you are willing to get a 4.0 without any effort whatsoever, this is the perfect school for you! I recommend taking a more challenging school, since being lazy at such a crucial point in life will negatively affect the rest of your life.

Cindy Mancini, the most beautiful cat in the history of this country, studied in this school in the year 1987. Along with her were Ronald Miller, Kenneth, Quint, Big John and Barbara. Good times!

The staff is stupid! The school is disorganized. They mess up your schedule and they wont fix it until 2 weeks later but they are the ones the messed up the schedule. They have no idea what they are doing. Oh yeah THE STAFF ARE A BUNCH OF IDIOTS!!!! I cant explain that enough.they are just stupid. If I had to choose a high school all over again it wouldnt be tucson high.

Tucson High is a great school. There is a wide array of AP and Honors classes, and many of the NON-honors and AP classes are extremely rigorous as well. Beyond the required courses, there are also many electives, and a full group of truly excellent teachers. It is large, but there are many clubs that your student can get involved in (this helps to make it less daunting) and an active PTA that you, as a parent, can be involved in (this helps to show you the ropes of being part of such a large school). We get a number of transfers from other TUSD schools that are more of a pressure cooker, and a number of students who qualify for those other schools who choose THMS because of its great diversity of students and school community. Cant beat THMS!
