Stop and Go driving school is the best driving school in Tucson! I would give them much more than a five star rating. It is a very comforting environment with instructors who respect and lighten up the experience for learning how to drive. Their mannerism is the perfect balance of keeping things professional and friendly. They are also very lenient with picking times that are good for you. My brother and I had both went through and passed our tests swimmingly. I especially recommend Peter! He is impossible not to like! Thank you so much Stop and Go Driving school!

I booked my classes with my friends and all of us had great experiences with Stop and Go, no wonder they are the best in this area and thus so booked up but its totally worth it and they really try to provide us classes as soon as possible.I had four instructors for my 14 hours total classes I required and they were all wonderful however a special shout out to Peter who was just amazing. I had him for my fourth class and I booked all my remaining 3 with him so I had a total of 4 classes with him. He is very fun to work with, he makes you feel comfortable while driving and I learnt a lot with him. I did not have the option of learning at home between the classes and driving with Peter really helped me gain my confidence and I was able to get my license sooner than I expected. He is very helpful as well and worked around his schedule to adjust according to my weird working hours that helped me a lot. I highly recommend this driving school and definitely Peter :)

I scheduled 5 drives, so the 10 hour package, I had 4 different instructors and all of them were great. I waited until I was 18 to learn how to drive because I had such bad anxiety but the instructors I had helped me feel more comfortable. I had Shawn Wassen for my first two drives and he did a great job teaching me the basics and he made learning the three point turn easy. I had Jacob for my third drive and he was very personable and gave me tips that helped me be a more confident driver. I had Deborah for my fourth drive and she was also great and gave unique advice on how to improve my skills. I had Peter for my last drive and he was as good as the reviews make him out to be. In my experience all of the instructors were knowledgeable and friendly and they helped improve my skills a lot so the driving packages are definitely worth your money.

My daughter, a slightly anxious driver, had Peter for her last two lessons and she came home smiling and confident afterwards. She felt at ease driving with him and he helped her build her driving skills and confidence quickly! I wanted to get my license but I didn’t know where to start. I signed up for 5 drives with stop and go, and I had Deborah for 4 of my 5 sessions. She was an amazing instructor and helped me drastically improve my driving skills. I used to be scared of doing 5 mph in a parking lot lol. I also had a pleasant experience when booking my drives! They worked around my school schedule and got back to me really fast.I totally recommend this place for anyone who’s interested!

I highly recommend Stop & Go to all learners! My instructors -- Savannah and Gilbert -- are such professional, patient, and clam instructors. Savannah helped me to overcome my anxiety and I drove on the highway during rush hours! There were times when I got nervous and made some mistakes, but she ensured our safety, pointed out and helped me correct my mistakes while not making me feel discouraged. Savannah also has excellent communication skills and is extremely intelligent & experienced. I enjoyed working with her.Gilbert is also a fantastic and highly skilled instructor. He got me started driving on the roads and I improved a lot after our first drive. I never leave reviews, but my experience with this school was so good I felt compelled to write one. I have always had severe driving anxiety and at times thought that I would never be able to drive. Stop and Go proved me wrong and gave me the experience and skills that I need to drive safely and confidently. They taught me everything I need to know to drive safely: parallel parking and highway driving included. I had Gilbert for 7 of my 10 drives and he is amazing. He is very calm, professional, and patient even with a nervous driver such as myself. I would recommend him to EVERYONE looking into Stop and Go Driving School. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because a few of my other instructors were late to our drives and active conspiracy theorists.

I had a 10 class package with Peter Fell. After having my first session with him, I was really impressed so I managed to book all my classes with Peter. He is very easy going and a fun instructor who I cannot recommend enough. Being one of the most experienced instructors at Stop & Go, he teaches anxious and zero level drivers like myself with ease. I could see myself improve with each session. Peter is also very patient with you when you make mistakes and I honestly believe he makes confident and safe drivers. I cannot recommend this place and Mr. Fell enough ! As a cherry on top, the instructor picks you up from your requested location which makes it very convenient. They also offer weekend classes or early morning classes for those who have work commitments. Their online class booking system is straightforward; and you get a report card after each session regarding your performance. They are very Best and the classes get filled quickly so it’s better to book all your classes in advance (they also have a 24 hour free cancellation). Overall an extremely positive experience!

Going to Stop and Go school was the best decision my family might have ever done. I was taught in little over 3 months and i’ve passed my drivers test and have gotten my drivers license. Jesse, Debby, and Peter were really awesome teachers. i really recommend them for any beginner drivers or any type of driving’s lesson. They have taught me so much and I honestly feel like I wouldn’t be able to be where I am without them! Y’all better go to Stop and Go!!!!

They were great. I used Deborah for my drives and she’s very conversational but since I can be a quite person at times it was really nice. When I first started learning how to drive I was incredibly anxious and intimidated by the road, I just took my drivers test and got a 98 with no anxiety.

I love this driving school! I never leave reviews but it was so good that I am taking the time out of my day to write one. I had Peter Fell, Gilbert, and Cole for my five lessons. They taught me everything I need to know from parallel parking (though not on the actual test), straight on parking, three point turns, left and right turns, signaling, speed control, four way stops, round abouts, highway practice, and more.I am a nervous driver who has taken her road test before and failed. I honestly had times where I thought I would never get my license. My whole experience with this driving school was positive and I have never felt so calm during a drive, let alone my driving test, in my life. I passed with an almost perfect score thanks to the instructors. I recommend doing a mix of times for your drives so you can practice in the dark and in the daylight.

My daughter took their 10 hour behind the wheel instructions. She had Peter for all of her lessons, he even passed her for actually driving without an adult supervision 😫! No, all jokes aside! I seen her as a timid driver and turned into a very confident driver! I will say if I was still “doing the lessons” I am not sure she would have become a confident driver or handled I19 like a champ! I had a great experience with Stop and Go. It was a simple process. Once I signed up, I was able to login to a portal where I could schedule appointments and track my progress. As an older student with some anxiety, my instructor Peter made me feel comfortable and was great teacher. I was also really glad I chose the 10 hour option. While it initially seems high, its a great value. I would recommend choosing all of your sessions at once as appointments fill up quickly. I would also highly recommend Peter Fell as an instructor.

Let me start by thanking Peter for everything. I took the Silver package for 10 hrs behind the wheel driving lesson, and my driving improved a lot because of the skilled and experienced instructors: Debroah, Cole and of course Peter. Not only I passed the road test, after doing 5 x 2 hours lessons, my confidence on driving was much stonger and to my surprise I was handling the car not the other way arround.I strongly recommend to get at least Silver package if you are begginer like me, or you also have other options, so check them out. They also have pick-up and drop-off service which I utilized to my advantage. Scheduling was very easy using their website and instructors really communicate professionally.TLDR: Peter, you are awesome, took Silver package, got license at the end.

Just passed the test!Love working with Peter Fell. He is so professional, and easy to be with. He makes me drive in the freeway at ease. He gives constructive feedback at the end of the session or whenever necessary. Never felt stressed on the road. He knows how to teach/train you but most, knows how to make you so comfortable forgetting about the stress on passing the road test but be focused on getting what he teaches as you take control of the wheel. And well, passing the road test is a big BONUS.

I purchased the 10hrs of lessons and it was well worth the cost!! My son had Gilbert as an instructor for all 5 lessons and he was amazing!! My son was very comfortable with him and Gilbert was very communicative on what my son needed to work on and what his strengths were. For my son’s last lesson and test I did have to reach out to Josh because Gilbert was not scheduled in our area. I explained that my son wanted to have Gilbert and wasn’t comfortable changing instructors for his last lesson and test. Josh was so great in making sure that Gilbert would be available to take my son on his last lesson!! I’m so appreciative of Stop and Go Driving School, I would highly recommend them and I already have to my son’s friend’s parents!!

Teachers are clear in communication, good at teaching, and relatively friendly. Only reason Im not giving 5 stars is both instructors I worked with were active and vehement Covid-19 conspiracy theorists, and from what one of the instructors told me, everyone that teaches at this school is. They bring up their conspiracy theories all the time and try to make it active conversation. One teacher wouldnt wear mask without complaining and the other wears without covering his nose.

If you are looking for an excellent driving school, Stop and Go is the right choice. Full disclosure: I had some experience driving before taking classes and I already had my permit. I started my lesson in December 2020, during Covid 😒, and the school enforces the safety guidelines. Most of my lessons were with Cole and Peter, and they are great! They were able to provide me oth pointers that improved my driving. I would recommend taking the morning, noon and night lessons as I feel I got a lot of experience driving in busy traffic, dark roads, morning commute and rainy days. I was nervous and scared of driving among people like anyone else who hasnt. These teachers not only give you the confidence to do it but they will make sure your skills are great and you are comfortable behind the wheel before you get on the road. I chose the silver package, and got my drivers license after completing all my 5 lessons.You wont regret signing up for this school!

Best Driving School In Tucson BY FAR! I completed the 5 sessions passed the test with ease and I went from a empty parking lot not knowing how to use the car and going at 2mph to feeling confident in the Highway going at 70+ in a matter of 4 sessions. I feel confident in the road also! My Instructors were Gilbert and Peter. I did most of my sessions with Gilbert and he was awesome!, made me feel very comfortable and built confidence in me since the very moment I stepped in the car you wont REGRET making him your instructor! I did the silver package for $699.00 for 5 2-hr sessions and it was amazing! I was initially nervous about driving as I was in the older age range for getting a license ( I’m 27 years old) And driving practice was limited. However the Office personnel I spoke with I believe his name was Josh was able to answer all my questions. I ended up having 2 different drivers during my session which was Deborah for 3 sessions and Peter For 2 and both were fantastic drivers, they were very patient and willing to explain everything to me, and answer any questions I may have. They also made the atmosphere light and fun making the process of learning to drive a lot easier.Honestly this was one of the best things I have purchased/invested in and am even thinking about taking additional courses with them to improve my driving even more . If you are looking to learn how to drive or if you have a young teen looking at how to drive I would highly recommend and encourage you/ them to take your lessons with them!

My teenage daughter was a nervous driver, and trying to teach her to drive was not a a good experience for either one of us.I finally decided to put my daughter through the driving classes at Stop n Go. Best decision I made!!!!! My daughter had Peter for her instructor, Peter put my daughter at ease. Within a month my daughter passed her driving test and now has her license.

Gilbert is so awesome! I was so nervous when going into driving I had only been on the highway once. By the end I was getting on and off without even a flinch. It’s pricy, but I’d definitely recommend it. They give you great tips and they’re very professional but friendly. You won’t regret it.

Very good driving school, very flexible on fitting my work schedule. Provides practice hours prior to 8am and post 5pm, which is very helpful for people with job. A little bit hard to practice during weekends, but that could depend on your location. For coach, I highly recommend Gilbert! Very good communication, supportive, has very good skills on encouraging and teaching. He knows what could be challenging for the beginner, he can give very clear and efficient guide, which make learning enjoyable. I heard that learning driving can be really stressful and frustrating, but when I was learning with Gilbert, I felt very relaxed and confident.

I couldn’t of had a better experience with Stop & Go. Gilbert is an awesome instructor who makes each drive more enjoyable than the last. I would highly recommend Gilbert - he is knowledgeable and articulate about the fundamental elements of driving, but he is also one of the nicest people you’ll meet!

My daughter had Peter for 90% of her driving classes. Peter was so friendly, personable and respectful. He was so good at communicating with all of us when the next lesson was. It’s great how they email and text you to remind you of a lesson. We bought the 15 lesson package and I can say that it was extremely worth it. My daughter is a great driver and I do not worry about her driving now. She is very confident and comfortable behind the wheel now that she has this experience. I highly recommended Stop and Go and Peter if you are looking to have your child learn how to drive.

Peter the instructor was very helpful and patient. He helped me with my anxiety. I finally received my drivers license at 47.

The instruction that my son received from Cole was fantastic. The report card he completed with the notes were so incredibly helpful in knowing what areas needed to be worked on.Cole’s above and beyond helpful approach to teaching and communicating with the parent made me feel much more confident in what he was learning.

I bought the 10 hour driving package and got different instructors for each time. I was lucky enough to have peter as one of my instructors in one of those, and I really wish I would’ve chose him for every single one of my drives. He is patient, friendly, and is extremely thorough when explaining road signs and regulations, or any other questions you may have. He makes the driving lesson fun, all while being safe. If you’re looking for someone who truly cares about your well being while you’re out on the road, and a great teacher, Peter is the one!!!

I had a great experience with Stop and Go. I had never driven a car in my life and bought the Gold package, which was perfect for me and I passed my test on my 9th drive. Peter was my instructor and he was brilliant; made me feel totally safe and confident and always a great sense of humour too! The school was also great, flexible with scheduling and its a wonderful service that they come and get you from your own home. Highly recommend!

Initially I chose this school as a way to help with my driving anxiety and I have to say it has been fantastic. I had both Peter and Lisa as my instructors and they both made me feel at ease in the vehicle and immensely helped to build my confidence (plus they were both incredibly fun to drive with). I relocated from New York City. I never needed to learn to drive in New York but knew that transportation options in the development I planned to move into 20 miles out of Tucson were non-existent. I attempted to overcome my severe driving phobia pre-move and managed to flunk the New York road test six times! I moved anyway, depending like Blanche DuBois in A Streetcar Named Desire on the kindness of strangers to get to the grocery store, pharmacy, Costco, etc. After several years of bumming rides, I found that the Stop and Go Driving School was now venturing into the hinterlands where I lived for pick up and drop off. I purchased the Bronze package of 5 lessons. The school takes its responsibility seriously. After each lesson I was emailed a report card which detailed the tasks that had been assigned and how I performed. My instructor, Deborah Smith, also added a comment at the end which was always supportive, encouraging, and positive. Because Arizona certifies Stop and Go for road tests, I got to take my road test with Deborah, and the overwhelming anxiety I had experienced during my prior road tests (with nasty New York examiners) vanished. I had my happy ending at last and passed my road test with 5 points to spare! I could not recommend this school, or Deborah Smith, more highly.

I cant say how enjoyable it is to learn driving at Stop and Go. I never drove on the street before and had some concerns when trying to find a driving school since I am an international student. However, the flexible classes and professional trainers really helped me a lot. Peter Fell taught me for the entire five classes. He was very friendly and knowledgeable, teaching me most basic points used in daily driving. I strongly recommend international students consider this driving school.

I just want to give a big shout out thank you to my awesome instructor,Gilbert M. he was the absolute greatest. He was my teacher for all 5 of my lessons. He was funny,polite,respectful,& just an awesome guy. He makes you feel comfortable and confident in yourself. I highly recommend him.

Gilbert was terrific for my Vietnamese wife whose English struggles at times. He was very patient and made her feel at ease so she drove well and passed her driving test. Highly recommend to all our Asian friends who might need some good instruction and have some problems with their English.

I had 10 hours behind the wheel sessions with stop and Go, excellent instructors they will make you feel confident and comfortable in the first drive itself. For my 5 sessions i had 4 different instructors Gilbert, cole, Pete and phil all are great. I thank each one of you for building up the confidence again in me. You guys are excellent, I recommend everyone to take the session with Stop and Go.

I took the 20-hour package with Stop & Go on Prince Road. I had a number of different instructors, all of whom were great. In particular, Gilbert and Cole. They were both friendly, helpful, and very very competent instructors. I highly recommend this driving school!

I have to say, I have been so nervous about driving since I decided I was going to be taking classes. I knew I had to have the best driver there is at Stop and Go. I noticed that many of the reviews were about Peter Fell, and I knew I had to schedule all my drives with him. Today was my first drive, and boy was I all sweaty palmed and everything. After awhile though, with the help of Peter, I felt so relaxed, and felt like I was doing so great. All in a nut shell Peter is great. I highly recommend him. He has a great and funny sense of humor and will be of great help. I have confidence that by the end of my fifth drive I will have my license. Go Peter!

Took the 10 hours course so I could get straight to the drivers test and bypass the written test at the DMV, as I have horrid test anxiety lol. 4 of 5 classes with Debbie and one with Peter.Peter Was really good, a bit intense but I appreciated his teaching. He pushed me to actually get on the road and drive for well over ten miles, and I feel i needed that pushDebbie was amazing. Kind, understanding, had some pretty killer stories, and helped me realize several different dangers of driving to look out for that I would have never thought about before. Im so thankful to her and Peter for their help.This school truly is amazing, and is worth every single penny and hour you sink into it. I was ecstatic to know my test would be graded by Debbie, not some strict snooty DMV rep who would drill me on every little thing. And now, because of this school, im a licensed driver, something Ive been working towards for ten long years. My skills were rusty due to a lack of a car, my confidence was shot, and most of all I was a nervous wreck when it came to the idea of driving, and this school helped me in everyone of those problems.Thank you Stop N Go, you all are so amazing!!!!!!

Great instructors, coach when you need help but don’t overcoach and overload you with tons of things to think about. Super nice, flexible drivers with locations, teach all you need to know. I purchased the 10 hour package of driving lessons for my daughter. I think she learned a great deal from her lessons and overall, she had a great experience. We had issues with one of the lessons, but the management did a wonderful job solving the problem to my satisfaction. If you or a loved one need some quality driving instruction, I would recommend Stop and Go highly.

Debbie was a great instructor who always made learning to drive a comfortable and informative experience. Its amazing how much better I feel while driving after just five lessons. I highly recommend Stop and Go!

I passed my road test today (whoop whoop!) and I can say its all because of Jesse and his driving school for giving me the support, confidence and info I needed to know.

Highly recommend! Peter was incredibly patient and put me at ease almost immediately. As someone who was afraid to drive due to having been in a car accident that was very important to me. I walked away with my license and confidence as a driver.

If I could give 10 stars I would. Lets start with... I am not a teenager, I am in my 30s and lived in NYC and Boston, and just never felt the need to drive. To be honest, I tried in Boston and it was a disaster, I had a terrible instructor there. Then I find myself in Tucson because of a work transfer and I have no option but to drive here. After researching around and seeing tons of positive reviews for Stop and Go, I decided to take my classes with them and that was the best decision I could have made!! So first, I did a 15-drive package. Thinking retrospectively, it was a bit too much though I do not regret doing the 15 drives. 5 drives is not enough, 10 is ideal. You will learn the basics with 5 drives, but you get much more refined and get much, much better technique with 10 drives. So I recommend anyone to take the 10 drive package. But again, I dont regret doing 15 because all the drives have been a pleasure! Each instructor has a style and is very different. I see a lot of reviews for Pete here and he is really awesome as people say in the reviews, but I also recommend going with other instructors too because you just get different techniques and it seems like each one likes something in particular. For example, Cole is all about perfect parking, super deep philosophical discussions (love it!!) and everyday practical stuff such as how to fill the tank, see the oil level... seems basic and it is, but Ive never paid attention to that before becoming a driver. Annie, the badass school bus driver, is another amazing instructor and gave me tips that no other instructor did, she is really all about safety in the road (all of them are, of course), but it is like Annie teaches you to develop a sixth sense on children and distracted people on the road. Debbie was super fun to drive around and also gave me important instructions on driving around Tucson and how to find myself if cell phone dies and you dont have a gps. Phil was super chill and great to drive too. There are no negatives about Stop and Go. They are really the best in Tucson and possibly the best in entire Arizona.

Jesse was awesome! Very easy to learn from and explained everything in great detail! It also was a great relief that he was friendly and easy to work with. He helped me a ton....my driving was horrible and now its on point!! Im so happy I decided to register with this driving school. Thank you Jesse!!

I absolutely loved working with Stop and Go. I had Peter as my instructor and I honestly can’t say enough great things about him. He was professional, great to talk to, made me feel at ease to drive and show what I have learned, and always open to answering any questions.I did the 5 lessons 2 hours each, and passed my driving test.Would definitely do it again!

Stop and Go was a really great experience for me, I had been scared to start driving as a teen and as an adult I knew I needed to finally try to get a license. With the help of Jesse and Gilbert I was able to actually get behind the wheel and lose some of my anxiety about being on the road. Great place to learn, fun teacher

I recently finished the 10 hour program, and I can say without that this was some of the best driving instruction that Ive recieved. I had Gilbert for 4 of my five lessons and he was great. He has a great personality, gives great advice, and makes you feel completly at ease while driving. I would recommend anyone that is going into a program to give him a try. You will not regret it.
