I love this studio so much! I have been coming on and off since they opened and the owner, Brenna, is a beautiful human being! Every time I come back the studio always feels welcoming, safe and fun! I love that this studio exists in Tucson! Thank you Brenna!

Ive been coming to KAT for about 8 months now about 5 times a week. The teachers and students are the most kind and encouraging people I have ever encountered. They are basically my second family now.

Had the pleasure of performing an aerial acrobatics dance at the studio in late October of last year. Was treated very cordially by all of the instructors and staff at all of our encounters. I also displayed artwork at their showcase and all of my artwork was preserved and treated very respectfully! I havent personally taken a class here but I am sure that the classes are just as positive of an experience as I have had everytime I have gone to and participated in a showcase. Very accommodating and thoughtful group who run the place!

I attended classes here for one year. I enjoyed my time while it was happening, but I have been disappointed with the studio (to say the least) over the last year. The owner has made several comments over time downplaying the severity of the pandemic and I have seen photos of individuals in the studio without masks and without proper social distancing practice while these mandates are still in place. I am even more disappointed in how they have handled the recent disrespect of a black woman at the studio, in addition to feeling disappointment and anger that she was mistreated in the first place. They are centering themselves rather than honoring the victims experience and taking accountability. I can only hope the owner and instructors grow from these experiences and learn that their actions have real consequences.

Kinetic is an unsafe place for black people and POC. I (a black woman) was basically ran out of there by two women after regularly taking classes for 6 months. One of the instructors Rori made it incredibly clear that black bodies are not welcome at this studio. If this is a place you frequent I HIGHLY suggest divesting your time, energy, and money from this place. I was publicly embarrassed by the instructors and they made it very clear that I was not welcome there. These people do not deserve a thriving business whatsoever.

Absolute gem if I may say so myself. Art studios to rent to fully express yourself. I highly recommend everyone to go and see for themselves. Be inspired, be yourself, never lose your dinosaur. Solar Culture welcomes all.

Kinetic Arts is a beautiful studio that has transformed my life. The people there are so encouraging and welcoming. The teachers there have taught me to do things I never though would be possible. I am now in the best shape of my life. Beyond that it is a community that cares about its community, so there are cool opportunities to meet new people and organizations and contribute to our larger community together. So fun! Thanks KAT!!!

Kinetic Arts has my heart! I love that it’s a dance studio plus a performance arts venue with beautiful local art on the walls and a big lounge space as well. There’s fitness classes as well as pole and lyra, which is great for advancing in aerial arts. The fitness and gymnastics classes are open to all level students, whether or not you are training in aerial. If you’re looking for a dance studio in the heart of downtown Tucson with a creative and inclusive vibe, you gotta check out Kinetic Arts.

Im not a participant, Im a spectator. So I came to the open house and also saw the first performance. So happy I went to both--Ill go again for sure. The space is open and classy, and the performers look like theyre having fun, BESIDES being skilled and graceful. The snacks and drinks definitely made the ticket fee well worth it. I hope to see this studio mature over the years--so much good energy now! Yeah! Two tips:1. Fix that long bump in front of the first row of seats--I tripped on it and almost sent my plate of goodies into someone elses lap!2. And for the planet: Ditch the plastic water bottles and cups. Its easy to fill a big dispenser with filtered water and ice, then use paper cups. Yes, for the wine, too. Do we want our sea animals stuffed with plastic garbage?

I took a class called Tumble Town with Brenna. Loved the class and I will be back for more. Brenna is a super fun teacher and she’s pretty badass too. The class is great for beginners like me. It’s challenging but totally doable. A plus is the music will keep you engaged and moving. Classes are affordable so give it a try. There’s nothing to lose and it’s fun.

Beautiful large space with great people and an artsy, magical vibe. My kids take aerial, yoga and tumbling classes, while I do pole. It’s our one-stop-shop for sport and recreation. The instructors are warm, knowledgeable and friendly, and the student base is diverse. We love being part of the KAT family!

I love this place! The staff provides excellent and skilled instruction in a safe and welcoming environment. The studio is clean and spacious and is in a great location in downtown Tucson with easily accessible parking. I have done both the pole and lyra (aerial hoop) classes and have loved both classes. Would definitely highly recommend this studio to anyone looking for a way to work out that is both artistic and athletic.

I recently moved to Tucson and I have found my dance studio home in Kinetic Arts! The staff is knowledgable, the classes are a good mix of challenging and safe, and classes are slightly cheaper than I would normally find at a studio. The space itself is very beautiful, aesthetically pleasing, and conveniently located.

I have fond memories of this particular location when it was Artifact Dance Project and I was taking ballet and Im thrilled to continue my pole journey here now that it is Kinetic Arts. Ive been injured for several months and the instructors are always checking to make sure Im working within my current limits. It is such a support atmosphere that encourages you to keep trying and push your boundaries and accomplish things you never thought possible. Since Ive been here, Ive gotten my front splits to both sides, made major progress on my middles, started working my oversplits, and have made massive improvements on specific pole tricks Ive been working on for months, and of course learned new things. I cant wait to see what the future brings!
