Thankful for my experience at Chamberlain. Great school, 3 year program and prepared me for NCLEX since day 1. I loved every moment of Chamberlain. They offer a variety of resources provided around campus & online. As long as you utilize all your resources, study by understand the material being presented, you will really enjoy your time at Chamberlain. The professors care about your success even after you graduated.

If you value your education and money DO NOT GO HERE. The faculty does not care about you. The dean of students, Dr.Poe is extremely racist and rude. They still have her teaching even though she gets terrible complaints each semester. All they want is your money . They don’t value the students experience.

I remember it like it was yesterday when i was so hurt and broken from the unfair treatment that this school has provided . Dr. Poe is awful and should be fired . I can’t even believe they have her as a teacher. If you take her class start recording her so they can see this outrageous behavior because i doubt they will do anything if you complain with no evidence.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Chamberlain! I was successful with the help of my professors, open lab (Amber Matocha), and academic advisors (Brittany, Rafa, and Rita), and the tutors in the Center for Academic Success. Each graduating class became close and encouraged one another to be the best nurses. I graduated, passed the NCLEX, and was offered a position in a specialty as a new grad.

Very disappointed by this schools, I forgot the deans’ name but she’s absolutely horrendous...I was warned about her previously, and I’m extremely upset that I didn’t take heed to the warning. I have a few issues with other professors as well, but she’s the worst.

I was a student at Chamberlain College of Nursing. When I got accepted to Chamberlain I was skeptical because it is a for profit organization, better known as they just want your money. I gave Chamberlain a chance because I was accepted, its a BSN program, and it would take me a bit under 3 years to complete this program because its accelerated. I loved the school, I learned a ton, everyone was really nice. Up until this year is where the problems began. I had a year left of this program and they dismissed me. My uncle died early into my session, I stressed and grieved, it was really hard for me. Not only did I have a death in my family but also, my mental health instructor, Professor Barton, used a different instructors course calendar. There were discrepancies with the due dates. Prof Barton told students to get the work in whenever we could and that she wouldnt deduct points due to her mistakes. Welp, our grades got audited and they took so many points for due dates that were never corrected. So along with my family grief, I had a butchered course which caused me a failing grade. I got dismissed along with another student, there were also others that failed the course because of this mess. However, If you do take Prof Barton, she does give you full test answers in her review. I actually have proof, I recorded them. After my appeal was denied, I submitted an appeal with the president and that was also denied. The student handbook supports students dismissal for extenuating circumstances, I had two and they were looked past. Chamberlain doesnt care about students at all. Im looking into getting a lawyer to get my wasted money back. Im in another nursing program by the grace of God but if I were anyone else, I would take my money elsewhere.

Do Not give this place your money. Outrageous tuition prices for unorganized and uninterested teachers. Have students waiting at a McDonalds for 2 hrs before clinical in a high crime neighborhood because the clinical site is not open when students are scheduled to be there. The amount of trouble my spouse has gone through to meet unreasonable and unprofessional demands is ridiculous. Definitely not the education we paid for.

If you want to get frustrated with financial aid, unorganized staff from the top down, and useless clinical experience. This school is for you. They charge you for EVERYTHING. Nothing is included with tuition. You have to pay for you test fees, Nclex study material, and extra Nclex prep classes on top of tuition. Tuition thats already over priced. Teachers there are low tier and are very click-y. By the end of it all you feel like you havent learned much and are very unprepared to be a nurse with lots of debt. It feels like youve been scammed. Ive seen my wife go through hell with this place. Never ever will I recommend to anyone.
