LOVE this dance studio! Owner and staff are great! Very friendly, professional and helpful! I started bringing my 7 yr old daughter to Tate Academy for their summer ballet and conditioning classes. Let me tell you my daughter raves about what she learns from the instructors and has so much fun!! The studio is very nice, clean and well maintained. The instructors and staff really care about the students, their safety and do a great job of teaching their craft. There are a few parking slots available in front otherwise there’s ample parking right across the street. I highly recommend this establishment!!

The Tate Academy is a great place to go and learn dance. All their teachers are experienced, hardworking, and loving. Ms. Tabitha is awesome teacher/coach!! They do more then just teach they actually care and wanna see all there students succeed.

My daughter switched over to the Tate Academy after dancing at another school for five years. She was anxious because you make your friends at one place and sometimes its hard to transition. She was welcomed with open arms - its like a little family! The girls, teachers and moms are all encouraging and nurturing. In addition to that, in one year Ms. Tabitha and the teachers there have taken her dancing to a whole new level. Its amazing the transformation she has made as a dancer and how much she has grown from it. My daughter is a company dancer and we are there six days a week. She also takes the recreational hip hop class and finds it just as challenging as the company classes.

Amazing studio!! Top notch teachers, clean, and beautiful space. The kids really learn a lot and have a great time. Can’t recommend this place enough

I have honestly never been there, but my friends who attend Tate Academy say I should take a stretch class there. Do I have to take an actual class for the stretch? Please answer me, I really need to know.

All kinds of dance for all ages. Mostly teens and younger. Competition available for those interested.

Our two daughters have been dancing with Tabitha Boulding since 2013, where she taught them Musical Theater, Tap, Jazz, and Acro at the Bergen PAC. In September 2016, her vision of being owner/artistic director came to light with the opening of her own studio The Tate Academy in Teaneck.Tabitha is passionate about dance and dance education. Along with teaching technique, she inspires her students to go above and beyond. She is genuine and teaches from the heart. Energetic, positive, patient, yet firm, she never gives up, never puts them down.Tabitha is also a coach to an award winning dance competition team. She encourages and teaches her dancers to support each other, not compete against one another. It’s a dance family where dancers and parents have made good friendships and support each other.The six instructors on staff are phenomenal and very talented. Luisa, the front desk administrator is friendly, helpful, and very creative with costumes! We absolutely recommend Tabitha and her studio; we’re blessed to be a part of it.
