I searched around for a good daycare when I started working full time. No place compares to Smart Kids! They have the best teachers and are very attentive to the kids.

I love that it’s a bilingual school and my kids always leave happy I never leave them crying they happy to stay. I can just tell that they get treated very good

This daycare center is one of the best I have found. I commute a min of 20 minutes everyday to bring my child here. I have known them for over 4 years. I tried to find other centers that were closer to our home, but non of them have compared to Smart Kids.

The staff at this center has been great for the past 3 months. My two year old loves waking up every morning to go play with her teachers and friends. They made it really easy for me and her to transition into daycare. I know that my daughter is safe and well taken care of! Keep up the great work everyone!!

Enjoyed this place since I went in to ask about what was needed for my two kids to be enrolled, super friendly director and assistant director. Every morning i am greeted with smiles and the kids teachers are real good at communicating with me about anything to do with my kids. For it being my first experience with a day care i am very happy. Thanks to all the ladies that work there.

My kids have been attending Smart Kids for just over 2 years. The teachers and staff are simply amazing! They go above and beyond to make sure the children are well taken care of. I find comfort in knowing that they are in good hands and I know that if there is an issue it will be resolved in an appropriate way. We absolutely love it and are so grateful to have found such a great place!

As a mom, I want what is best for my kids. After 6 years at a different daycare, my husband and I decided it was best to find alternative options. I was so lucky when a high school friend posted on Facebook about how great her daughters daycare is. I instantly called for a tour, and was greeted with a personalized welcome. A year later, Im more than happy we decided to transfer our kids to Smart Kids Learning Academy. The staff is kind, dedicated, thoughtful and smart. I have worked there for 4 years and I love it.The staff is great. the owners are awesome the director and asst.director take pride in the day care everyday they are fabulous .The cook is wonderful. ALL IN ALL THIS IS A GREAT DAYCARE TO WORK AT AND TO BRING YOUR KIDS TO.

My three year old daughter has gone to Smart Kids on Redwood for three months. She loves going there. Every staff member calls her by name. They are super responsive to me. They answer calls and emails promptly.In the three months, there have been several family activities in the evening, and special guests like a dentist and a police officer during the day. There are also weekly activities during the day, like cooking lessons, and nature walks.My daughter struggled for awhile because it was her first time in daycare, and she missed mom and dad. Her teachers, and the director were so caring and willing to work through it with us in a way we were comfortable with.I drop her off in the morning, and I dont worry about her during the day. I think that shows how I feel about this school.

I was hesitant about putting my youngest in daycare, but I highly recommend Smart Kids in Taylorsville. They are always warn and friendly to you and your child. They know you by name. No matter what time I picked up my daughter there was always a warm smile to greet me. They take pride in teaching the children and have compassion for ever child.

We have had our son in this day care since he was 2.5 years old, he is now 8 years old. Yes, there has been issues but management has handled it. They keep in good communication with me. My questions are always answered. My son, does not struggle with the staff. In turn, they take the time to make sure they really know him and his daily needs. There are plenty of kids that come and go, but most of the staff is the same and consistent. I dont recommend business lightly. This is one I would recommend and have recently to a fellow mom. Always take your time to learn a place and their daily schedule. Observe the staff and how they interact with the kids. The daily chores are done, you can always review the dietary schedule upon request. If my kid wasnt enjoying himself in a messy activity, I would be suspicious. (See other review) I plan on keeping my son there for the next two - three years.

This is a fantastic place to take your children! I have two children here, my youngest in in the toddler classroom with miss Hailey and leyli, and she is learning so much its amazing! My oldest is in the school age classroom and is always so engaged in science and art projects! My son never wants to leave! I am also a teacher, I have never worked at such an amazing place! The vibe here is happy and fantastic! We are always doing parent engagement activities!

We chose Smart Kids because, out of the daycares that transport to and from elementary schools, Smart Kids had the friendliest staff and best overall vibe. We have not regretted the choice. The staff continues to be helpful, professional, and friendly, and my little girl loves going.

Completely horrible daycare. Every single time I brought my kid after months of her going there she always cried. Only one out of the three teachers in her room ever cared or tried to help. Nobody in my family spoke Spanish which was a problem as this place is mainly Spanish workers which I believe is where the biggest problem with my daughter was. She was never truly cared for. The place stinks almost like a cat litter box too and it made my daughter of course stink too from her clothes and hair. It was awful.Side note just like another review said. A lot of the reviews on here are from employees.

I have worked for smart kids for two years and i love all the employees and my directors and also the oweners. they are awesome and I have had so many good experiences working here we all care for the the children as if they were are own. Thank you guys for being great!

My son is 3 years old about to turn 4 in Feb 2019 & has been going here since Dec 2016, all of his teachers from the baby room and 2 years old room are no longer there. They were so amazing with him and me. I miss seeing them a lot. During Aug 2018, were just a few minor problems in his 3 year old room. But I believe they were handle with care and able to talk out the issues. Other then that I would recommend this Daycare. Ms. Liska always greets us in the morning. Ms. Solo is great with answering any of my questions and gives me great feedback about my son. Ms. Flavia the Director is very approachable and understanding to work with. So give them a chance first before you turn them down.

I love many things about Smart Kids Academy but most of all is that my kids are safe and loved by all of the staff .

My son is in the 2 yr old classroom at this child care, his teacher is wonderful!!! I pulled him from another center who threatened to hit a child if he didnt eat his snack. With in the first day at the Childrens Express he had a cubby, out going mailbox and art to take home which was more than the other center did in the 2 weeks he was there. I personally have worked in child care centers for over 11 yrs and had very high expectations when I decided to place him in child care facility and to walk into a clean smelling, quiet environment I was over joyed. The director even offered me a position there when I had been laid off from my office job. I cannot say more than this center is ran with love, care and kindness.

My child never went to this daycare and never will with what I saw happen today. The daycare bus dropped off a kid for the PM kindergarten more then 15 mins late. They just dropped off the child and left. So now there is this scared child that didnt know what to do. The child came to me crying asked if I could help so I pound on the kindergarten door until the teacher came to the door and I explained what happen. I was told that they were really late and the kindergarten door is closed and locked and all kids late have to go to the front office and check in late. Im like Im not with the daycare nor am I the parent so she allowed the child in and had her go to the office. This is very scary especially these day under no circumstances should a child especially a kindergarten be let off the bus alone when school is already started. I hope every manager/parent reads this and realizes this is not safe and is corrected.

My 5 year old and 3 year old have been going to Smart Kids on Redwood since June of last year. Row and So love to go to school! They love there teachers and Ms Flavia the manager. We have had no issues at all. Sometimes in the evening when I pick them up its hard to get them to stop playing and want to leave. They always want to give there teachers hugs when they leave. The teachers are very caring and attentive. I especially like the teacher in the evening 3 year old class Ms Sol. She is always very friendly and kind and greats you with a warm smile. The Manager Flavia is always friendly and kind also. Highly recommend!

RUDE and boy in my class had to go here at 3:00 with no sleep. The people werent there and 17 kids were playing .All I have to say is that RUDE RUDE RUDE RUDE RUDE AND RUUUUUUUUUUUUDE

Im very dissatisfied with the service this daycare offers. I was always uneasy about trusting this place. But in my mind I thought it cant be that bad I mean they must have a license to run this place. This place reeked! It was dirty. My daughter stunk when I picked her up. O course I mentioned it because I witnessed it. The food was discutsting. I was looking for another daycare after a month. I called workforce services to see if I was eligible for another day center but it was not one they covered completely. Workforce Services employee told me if I wanted to change daycare I would have to pay the difference. I told her I couldnt afford it and that I would have to stay were I was until I found something else. Some how the Workforce Services employee stopped payment the day I called to inquire about another daycare center. I was very clear, I dont see why they did this. I hope this was not done intentionally. Rude! So the manager at Smart kids knew she wasnt getting paid and didnt say anything until 3 months later and is blaming me. She admitted she hadnt checked. Now they want $1,350.26My daughter was hurt in there care but all they did was just threaten me. Im trying to keep my job and provide for my daughter. And to top it off I have to deal with a crummy daycare facility who cant do there job. The way they resolve conflicts are by blaming and threatening me. No one takes responsibility there. Coming here was very hard on me and my daughter. I emailed pictures of my daughter to the one in charge and didnt even get a response nothing. And thats what they are going to get from me nothing! What a terrible experience.

Our our kids (2.5 and 5.5) have been with Smart Kids on Redwood Road fir a little over a year now. We were reluctant to take them there because the previous daycare that occupied the building was not very good, hence their shutting down.However, I went to, serious, like 20 daycare centers when looking to enrolled my boys. We were getting ready to move and we absolutely loved our daycare and so I was pretty picking. Every one of the centers I visited had something that made me turn away (unfriendly staff, bad attitude, layout was too open or too closed, curriculum wasnt quite what I wanted, dirty, inattentive, or just plain unsafe.When I walked into Smart Kids, the director, Flavia, met me with the warmest hello! I felt like I had known her forever. She showed me around, answered all of my questions and put to ease some of my biggest concerns about transitioning my kids to a new place at the same time they were going through a big move. The place was clean, well organized and the staff was friendly and very attentive to the children. I signed them up on the spot!!The first day that my boys attended, I thought it would be super difficult to leave them because I didnt think they would feel comfortable being left somewhere new. But the staff snuggled and reassured the boys and when I picked they were super happy. My baby didnt want to leave, which I always see as a good sign!The daycare does all kinds of fun and educational events too! They do Donuts with dad, Muffins with mom, have magicians come in, dentists, firemen, and have really nice Christmas show that the kids put on in addition to many other things.It is a fabulous place for your kinds to be while you are unable to be with them! We are so glad that we chose Smart Kids!!

My son is in the two year old classroom and his teachers seem great. My son has trouble understanding some English since it is his second language which Ive seen makes the teachers a little impatient with him. My biggest complaint would be one of the front desk ladies. She is always giving me dirty looks and was rude to my sister when she picked up my son for me. I will be transferring my son to the other facility, where my family and I will feel welcomed when we walk through the door.

I currently work at this Smart Kids Learning Academy location here on Redwood Rd in Taylorsville and have noticed that a lot of the 1 star reviews are incidences from other Smart Kid Learning Center locations. The majority of the 1 star reviews do not reflect the quality of this specific center.

I am a single mom of two and I am very particular as to where I take my kids.My oldest child is 8 and my youngest is 5 they have been attending smart kids for the last three years prior to that they were with family and I have never been more happy, trusting or comfortable as I am with Flavia and her great team of teachers.I love all of the ladies that have had a hand in helping me with the girls but I am most especially thankful for Flavia she has been consistent, loving and very responsive!! I would recommend this daycare 100%!!! 💜💜💜Ps. I recommended my sister and now my niece goes here! She loves it too!!

I love this place, and absolutely love that they handle their business very professionally. They have worked with me a couple of times with my bill when I was without work. I had researched several places before coming here, and was quite impressed with the positive comments through several sites. The only negative comment that I came across was on this site posted by the gentleman complaining about the hostile teachers. Fortunately she was let go, however come to find out she is a relative of the guy complaining. Which explains why he would lash out at such a terrific preschool/daycare. Ive done my research, and their isnt a daycare in the area that carries the accolades and reviews as this place. I couldnt be more pleased with everything they have done for me and my child.

I absolutely hate this place. It was okay at first and then it just got worse. I sat down with the manager Flavia and we set up a payment plan because I was struggling with money. We made a payment plan and then when I had to stop having my son go there because I lost my job, I go to look at how much was on the account and there was $610. I paid $500 4 days earlier. The normal amount is $710 a month and I was paying what I could when I could. My son only went there for less than 4 weeks. So paying $710 was okay. Paying $500 4 days earlier should have only left me with $210, right? Wrong. They added a bunch of extra fees and is trying to make me pay the $610. No. I will not do it. He went for a little over three weeks. I should not have to pay this in any way. And then they tried to say that the late fees are added. WHEN WE TALKED ABOUT A PAYMENT PLAN! They are unwilling to work with me. Im out of a job and can barely afford paying them what I did. Oh and dont forget when they asked one of my mom friends that they had to find a new daycare for their kids yet nothing happened with them. No violence or bad things happened but yet they asked her to find a new daycare? Okay... Do not take your kids here unless you want to be cheaper out of your money. This is beyond ridiculous. Ive taken my son out of daycare without a notice and never been done like this. I will not pay $610 for late fees when we set up a payment plan for myself.

Very unprofessional. Code of conduct does not apply in this center. When you are creating personal relationships that mix business with pleasure. I guess its okay for staff to date their clients. Very odd to me, its a place for childcare not a dating service.

Do NOT take your child to this daycare. Their Business Ethic is shady at best. The teachers are openly hostile to each other in front of the children, and they will openly retaliate against anyone they dislike through the child. My child was so intimated by this business that she told me she never wanted to go back. On top of this, they will randomly add extra charges to your bill, raise your payments, and charge you hundreds of extra dollars. Unfortunately, it is impossible to prove as I have NEVER received a bill. I wouldnt recommend this business to my worst enemy

Since Smart Kids took over this place has gone down hill!!!! The kids are never watched like they should be and the turn over rate is huge!!!! Your kids can never bond with a teacher since it seems like they have a new one each week.👎👎👎👎

I was hesitant to put my then 2 year old into daycare. I was going back to school after being a stay at home mom for 14 years and I searched everywhere and visited about 10 daycares in the area before coming to smart kids. I had initially taken a place while on a waiting list for the daycare at my college but after 9 months I couldnt bring myself to pull my son out. He has always loved his teachers and now 2 years later gets upset with me when I pull him out for the summers. He has learned so much since hes been here he is ready to start kindergarten next year and I know he will be ready! Thanks to Flavia and all her staff my son is ahead academically and he hasnt even begun kindergarten. The staff has always been great. They do a lot of activities for kids and parents such as the annual trunk or treat and the St Paddys day parade. If youre interested in taking your child to a place they are treated like family look no further than smart kids. I while I look forward to my son joining my other children next year I cant forget the care he has received the last 2 years at smart kids and he will excell in kindergarten and beyond because of what theyve taught him.

This place was awful when my son went there. If you read the reviews most are from the employees, which doesnt suprise me at all. I moved my son to another nearby facility and the difference is night and day. The environment was awful and you could here the teachers yelling at the kids literally everytime I came in to pick him up.

I had a friend have her daughter going here and it was the worst daycare experience ever.. it was dirty and extremely unorganized. I would never recommend this place to anyone! The staff had really poor attitudes and we heard them multiple times yelling at the children.

I have a 3 year old son that attends this daycare I am very unhappy with the communication from management to parent.
