I recently took my road test here. Craig was my instructor and he was wonderful! I was so comfortable driving with him. He was professional yet personable. He gave clear concise instructions, gave helpful tips and feedback, and held great conversation. I also really appreciate that they leave the cones up in the parking lot which allowed me to get plenty of parking practice in before my test. 10/10 would recommend Stroia for your road test or drivers training needs!

It is a great team .I have rented their motorcycle. They let me to ride the motorcycle before the test to familiarize myself with it. Oral instructions were given and physical instructions were provided to us on the track of each task they wanted us to undertake. Highly recommend the place.

I took my road test this morning with Bob. He was a very professional instructor and made me feel comfortable the entire time . I get very nervous when testing but he was reassuring and made me feel confident in myself . Needless to say I passed and i’m extremely happy I chose Stroia!!

I didnt feel the need to express how trash your company is but its Definitely not a fake review just another 1 star review to add to the rest youve accumulated. Its Astonishing you as the owner attack the customers online yet dont address the issues in YOUR company! All the reviews say the same thing yet everyone is wrong besides you and your golden girls?! Think your responses accurately sum up what your company is at the core and how it operates!

They reported my last review so Ill write another. This place is a nightmare. They will take your money then fran will refuse to rent you a car, tell you reschedule, they will not answer the phone for days then keep half your money without giving you a test. Do not test with them, theyre running a scam on people.

Cones are left for the public to self train with cones after business hours prior to testing. It was great because I helped my wife learn how to perform parallel parking with cones which contributed to her passing the test. Thanks Stroia!

I had the misfortune of paying them to take the road test. From the second she saw me the instructor look annoyed and looked like she didnt want to be there. I didnt get her name but she was older lady (late 60’s- mid 70’s).I came in and she told me I couldnt use my own car for the road test. So I had to pay to use theirs. Im a fat and tall person and they put me in a tiny ford fusion. I asked them if they had anything else I can use and she said no even though the black suv she was in was labeled with the Stroia driving school sticker. She failed me during the basic maneuvers with the parallel parking so I didnt even get to go on the road. I was there probably 7 minutes in total. Funniest thing to me is I took the road test in Hamtramck the following day and passed. I feel completely robbed. Dont waste your time or money here.

Where to start! Didnt tell me over the phone what to bring. The teacher is like 90! Staff is not trained over the phone! $65 and the refunded me only $35! Wasted me taking a day off work & my time & money! DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!

Id focus on all the poor reviews your company has instead of trying to tell me the spelling of my email. Its foolish to assume my email would be my name but Im glad you did comment though! Shows your true character and why you have the reviews you do!

Im disappointed with the anger that was outwardly expressed at us from the instructor for arriving 10 minutes late to the appt time. We accidentally drove to the wrong test site first and had to hurry over to the correct one once the realization of the mistake. Theres no way to contact anyone at stroia to let them know so that wasnt a possiblity.It was a total honest mistake. Honest mistakes do happen in life. Understanding, compassion, and forgiveness go a long way in this world. They make the world a better place to live and interact with others. Anger helps no one, it doesnt help the tests run on time either. Being compassionate and kind does help, especially when someone is flustered because they made a mistake.Sorry for the 10 minute mistake to your instructors day. I surely hope they can find it in their heart to be more understanding and forgiving next time a person is accidentally late to their appt. Because, lets be honest, who in the world hasnt been 10 minutes late before?!

Great staff. The gentleman organizing the motorycle tests was very kind to let me try the bike to get familiarized with it.He also did the test by himself so we can see it first hand.

Took my drivers road test with them, and the tester was incredible nice, and understanding. I highly recommend this location to take your test. You can also practice the parking exercises with the cones after hours!

I have just recently taken my road test with them I had Francis she was very nice made me feel very comfortable!! I recommend taking your road test with them.

Got there a little early for my road test. I was the first appointment so I was able to start right away. The instructor (whose name I didnt even get) was very professional and friendly..the route is as followsdown Northline, left on Pardee, left at the the second light, down Brest road. Right at the stop sign. Thru the subdivision. Back out to a right pardee. Left down northine. Right at Allen, right onto ramp to 75. Exit at Eureka, Eureka to Racho hang a right. Down to Northline, (Stop before the sidewalk!) Then left back to the church. I passed! Would definitely reccomend!Hope this helps!

This place was able to get me in for an appointment on very short notice which was greatly appreciated, Fran was very professional and helpful both during and after the road test, had a good experience

I got my permit and I scheduled to take the road test that following Saturday.. Coaches are friendly and polite.. They will get you in and out..

My “instructor” made me feel so stupid. They seemed annoyed with me the minute I arrived. They made me look and feel stupid. Haha not again. Going somewhere else for sure. Highly recommend to not go here

My sons road test instructor, Craig, was absolutely INCREDIBLE. He was friendly, he smiled, he made my son comfortable in taking his road test. We actually were worried to get a lady who came across harsh as she honked for us to approach her vehicle. We weren’t even assigned her for the test. If at all possible request CRAIG for the road test to help your son/daughter feel comfortable. Thank you Craig, you are an asset to Stroria !

Great grey business

They are really bad. I fail my road test twice from them. And I went to another testing place a pass my first time. They dont help with anything!! Even when they say they do!!! They suck as fair as customer service!!! They only reason I gave them the one star was cause u could use the course for practice. The only reason.

Instead of helping you they just show you a piece of paper on what to do and seemed annoyed the whole time

When you make an appointment you dont expect to have to wait hours. Whats the point in an appointment time. Not professional at all.

The ability to schedule online was very convenient. The lady, Fran, was waiting for me in the parking lot. She was clear, concise, professional and forgiving of a few minor mistakes or uncertainties I had. While I would not go so far as to say she was friendly, I would say that she was purely professional and fair. I knew that, as long as I followed her instructions, and I asked questions when needed, I would pass! And I did! This place is pretty awesome. Thanks for doing your job well and getting me my key to the road, Fran.

If I could make my review less that 1 star I FOR SURE would. I recently took my drivers test here and instantly failed. Within 5 minutes of starting the basic skills test Fran (my driving instructor) told me that I failed. I would 100% understand if I did not do good but I was given very unclear directions as to what to do and that is the exact reason why I failed. She told me not to change directions when I parked and that was the only instructions that she gave me. Naturally I thought that change directions meant dont change from left to right or right to left. I did not, however, think that she meant I couldnt change from reverse to drive in order to straighten myself up (which is how you park). She marked me down 6 points just because of the fact that I did that even though my parking was fine. Needless to say I didnt even get to drive at all and she very rudely suggested that I have never practiced basic skills in my life, even though Ive been driving and practicing for years now. I will NEVER be returning here for anything and will tell every person that I know not to come here for drivers testing or anything else because of the terrible, degrading experience that I had here. These people are nothing but money-hungry and rude and NOBODY deserves the treatment that I got!

I took my test June 1 2017 and the instructor was very nice and professional, I did pretty good and he told me to work on a few things without being rude, and i passed! I recommend this place for any body

My instructor was very professional nice and just a outstanding down to earth guy was very professional with his feedback on what I must work on without making you feel bad he really gives you the encouragement to improve I would give this place a 10 out of 10 with all this positive comments I bet this post sounds fake but I assure you its a great place to take your drivers test thank you Stroia for the great experience

I have called twice asking for information about the motorcycle courses. Left a message both days. This is day 3 and still have not received a phone call back.

When i took my drivers test the lady who road with me was very polite when i parked she helped me with parallel parking Until i did it on my own she was very helpful and i recommend this driving school 100 and 10 percent. I did not feel pressured in any way or nervous that i was doing something wrong she was amazing and this school is amazing.

Can someone tell me if my Dot helmet will be fine for the motorcycle test. The web site says yes but also says must habe Snell approved. Is Dot ok without Snell

The woman who was my instructor was very rude and seemed annoyed from the moment she got in the passenger seat. She made me feel terrible about my driving skills and I regret ever taking my test with stroia.

Ive taken lessons from their people, the guy said I was ready for the test. Recently I took the test today and failed. This is my fourth time, I have spent sooo much damn money here, and no result.
