Lovely place; beautiful energy!

I was very anxious about switching my son from a babysitter to daycare center but Daria, Shira, and all the staff made the transition seamless. I pick my son up each day with a huge smile on his face. He loves all of the teachers and asks every day if he can go to school. The love that all of the staff have shown my son is appreciated more than they will ever know. Their communication and responsiveness is superior and my son has learned so much in the two months he has been there. I could not recommend Discovery Village enough.

Discovery Village is an wonderful childcare center and preschool! The teachers and staff have created a warm and welcoming environment. My oldest son (4) loves all the science experiments and fun activities that the teachers plan. My younger son (1) benefitted from the clean and loving environment in the infant rooms. The dedication they’ve shown to the families throughout the COVID-19 pandemic has been above and beyond. I would highly recommend that any family looking for a safe and positive environment turn to Discovery Village!

Dr. Shira Leibowitz has a great center and is dedicated to having the best learning environment for children. The staff are loving and attentive, the center is clean and well organized and I see happy children which is very important for me to be able to trust them!

We love Discovery Village! They provide an educational, yet fun and loving environment for our child. The facility is clean, up to date on all policies for state/local needs, and the teachers are amazing with the kiddos. The administration is also well organized and on top of everything. We are so happy our little one is in the Discovery Village family.

We love this place, our kid had a great time playing and learning. Daria has been welcoming, responds promptly to any inquiry.Our kid loves her. Reasonable price, excellent quality and much-better ambience than the other large chain Daycares in the area.The app is great to automatically unlock the main door, sign in the kid.The updates throughout the day are helpful, especially they are categorized by type or activity and of course lots of picturesThere are some opportunities they could make it even better:-Cameras, and other security monitoring at all doors, hallways and classes will ensure peace of mind for all folks.-filtered water, Organic Milk, and vegetables, Trader-Joes type grocery food would be even better.

My son has been with Discovery Village for about a month, and has learned so much in just a short amount of time! He went from being mostly non-verbal to learning words like “hello” and phrases such as “how are you?” I’m so grateful that all the teachers and staff care so much about my child! 10/10 would recommend!

My baby isnt enrolled to the school yet but looking on their website it looks like a very good school! Very diverse and great activities the children are involved in with the teachers and classmates. I would love for my baby to enroll to the school once everything goes back to normal.

My son started Discovery Village at the age of two. When we first walked in Shira Leibowitz (CEO) made us welcomed and gave us a tour. My son loves Discovery Village, he has learned so much with there with hands on school curriculum and projects we would take home weekly. They also have a app for the parents to see pictures of their child and engagement activities for the day.I highly recommend Discovery Village to any parent this place has given me a peace of mind throughout my day at work.

I couldnt be more pleased with the staff at The Discovery Village. My son has learned so much and I am BEYOND impressed. I would personally recommend them to to anyone seeking childcare. They are friendly, loving and very caring. I am grateful to have all the ladies in our lives.

Deciding to have my son start daycare for the first time was such a difficult time. Since the beginning Discovery Village has made the whole process such a breeze. Ms. Daria has helped me with the whole process making sure I had all the appropriate paperwork so my son could start as soon as we were ready.Its been over a month now since he has started and I couldnt be happier with the care and how much my son is learning. His teachers Ms. Bianca & Ms. Deborah always let me know of his day and assure me I can check in as much as Id like too. The app used in the center gives me the assurance he is safe & having a good day . Plus I love being able to see photos of him enjoying himself while at work. All the staff are so friendly & I would recommend Discovery Village to others!

We have been very happy with Discovery Village as our daughters daycare. The staff is always friendly and greets her by name when I drop her off in the morning which always puts a smile on her face and her classroom teachers are wonderful: patient and kind. My daughter has learned so much in her time there and we are very happy with the emphasis on curriculum, learning, and helping children develop their skills. She loves it so much she often does not want to leave at the end of the day!

I am the parent of 3 boys who attended the school where Discovery Village CEO, Dr Shira Leibowitz was principal. Quite simply, Dr. Leibowitz made me a better parent with her calm, reassuring, manner and supportive style. Her leadership encouraged curiosity in learning for the whole family. I believe this approach helped my boys become good men.

Finding a quality daycare where you feel comfortable enough to leave your child is no easy task. Discovery Village in Tarrytown is a wonderful place that truly treats your child like a member of the family. The staff is so warm and kind. Ms. Edsriel is an amazing teacher who is attentive, energetic and enthusiastic about the children in her care. The Director, Shira is very hands on and can be found cuddling an infant or engaging a toddler. I’m so glad my daughter and son in-law chose Discovery Village for my grandson. I know he will thrive in this environment. It’s a wonderful place!

What a wonderful place for a child to learn and grow! At first, like most parents we wondered if Daycare would be the right option. Leaving your little one in the trusted hands of another is as daunting as it can get but our worries were calmed within the first week of seeing the educational and behavioral benefits of DV. Since joining DV, our little one has become very independent, curious and expressive.A typical day include songs, painting, learning new things and playing with others. It helps tremendously that the meals provided are balanced and nutritional.Our son’s classroom teacher Esdrial is particularly amazing. She is very patient and Always has a smile on her face. The same goes for all the staff who never fail to greet you when you walk in. Shira the Director knows every kid by name and is vested in the success of all the children.Highly recommended!
