Child’s been attending this daycare off and on since she was 2. She is now 8. My child had some behavior issues but Ms.Cindy worked with me after I assured her that we would work with her at home. I’m happy that they were holding my daughter accountable for her behavior later on because it shouldn’t be excused. This daycare is organized and I know they care about the children. Daycares deal with children from all different walks of life and I’ve been to a few where the children weren’t directed for the greater good and I didn’t want that for mine.

Both my sons enjoyed going to this school! Both the owner and her teachers are well trained in early childhood and worked well with children. The space is clean and toys are plentiful. They take pride in making sure children are happy and safe. She is also open to working with parents. We had my son (step son) for the summer and unfortunately, there was an issue with his mother calling the preschool constantly for days yelling, screaming and demanding to speak with her child. We provided the preschool with the divorce orders which stated plainly that there were scheduled call times 3 times a week (none were during hours the preschool was open). It got so bad that the owner had to write a letter to the court. The court granted a no contact order to which the mother still called the preschool. The owner was very understanding of everything that was happening and did not treat us or our children any differently. I would definitely recommend this center.

My son was enrolled with this Kids Clubhouse. He adjusted to his daily activities and has made many friends at Kid’s Clubhouse. Seven months after his enrollment, I received a text from the Director, Cindy asking me to call her. She explained to me that my son was not listening to his teacher and was knocking down toys. I asked if this was a normal behavior for him and she confirmed that it was not. She explained to me that she believed that this “bad behavior” was a direct result of my son receiving speech therapy services. He had just began receiving services for mild speech and language delays. She suggested that I put him in a Head Start program; which she assumed that my family could qualify. She also suggested that I put him into another preschool. She disclosed that she had the same discussion with the parents of three other children in the three-year-old class; all of them having one detail in common – developmental delays.I understand that Kid’s Clubhouse is a privately owned daycare and has the ability to dismiss any student that they want. However, I do not believe my son was asked to leave based of his misbehavior but rather based on the fact that this facility does not have the resources or desire to provide him with the highest quality in the level of care and supervision in which they advertise. It is my opinion that this is not acceptable for a facility that is characterized as a “Gold Seal Quality Care” provider.

I face the unfortunate situation of sending my child off to his fathers home (2000 miles away) for the summers. My childs second summer away was spent at this daycare. Our court order expresses first and foremost my primary placement and our shared joint custody. However, this meant absolutely nothing to this business owner. After a very pleasant initial conversation via telephone, she informed me that she was experienced and used to dealing with distant parents in this situation. She assured me that I would be able to call, Skype and check on my child whenever I wanted, and as often as I wanted. I told her it wouldnt be often, maybe once or twice a week, for a few minutes to say hello. She assured me this was no problem (I then spoke with my son for less than 2 minutes and we schedule our first call to be at the end of the week. She said shed mail brochures that day. This was the last I heard from her. I called at our agreed time, and she told me I was not allowed to speak to my son. I asked why and she made up a story about my court order not allowing any communication. She then hung up on me, because she had paying customers in front of her, saying shed call me back later in the day. I waited two weeks before I tried again. She again hung up on me, refusing to schedule a time to speak with me. I waited another week. When I called, same answer. I called back the next day, again hanging up on me. Finally, she wrote a letter to the courts stating that I was harassing her and requesting that I not be allowed to ever even visit my son. To date, I only received an email stating she had attached brochures, only to have nothing attached. I am appalled that a business owner can run a daycare and refuse access to the primary custodian. It makes no sense that the primary custodian to NEVER be allowed to speak with even ask about his or her child at a daycare. Please, be cautious with who you leave your child with. Unacceptable behavior on Kids Clubhouse.

My daughter (18 months) was new to daycare so I expected a little bit for her to transition to a new environment. We took a tour and everything seemed great. On her SECOND day the owner already had a talk with me saying shes not transitioning very good but they will still work with her. I felt it was kind of ridiculous to judge on her second day. So a few weeks go by and the teachers and owner were saying she was doing great. They said she had a great week. One day the owner herself even mentioned how good she has been and that she didnt even hear her cry. The very next day, I go to pick my daughter up (Thursday) and the owner tells me its not working, she is requiring too much attention and that I can take her stuff and she will give me a refund for Friday. I was completely taken back. How is this possible if just yesterday I was told how great shes been doing. Either she was lying or she needed a spot for a family member or friend. Either way, I wouldnt want my daughter there. My daughter was bit by another child and that same child also bit another baby. He is still allowed to stay but my daughter required a little more of you time and Thats unacceptable? I would not recommend this place, especially if you need dependable childcare. The teachers were very nice but the owner just seemed like she could care less. I work full time and was left with Friday to find childcare for my daughter. For $135 a week I wouldve expected more. Do not take you child here if you need something reliable.

DO NOT PUT YOUR CHILD IN THIS DAYCARE!!!!The owner MS. CINDY IS A HORRIBLE PERSON she just needs to retire and give up her daycare!!! SHE HAS NO PATIENCE NOR COMPASSION FOR CHILDREN NOR PARENTS!!!! I would not recommend this daycare to ANYONE! THE WEBSITE THAT READS ALL THE HEART WARMING CARE OF HOW THEY BUILD RELATIONSHIPS WITH YOUR CHILDREN IS A LIE!!!! SHE DOESNT EVEN KNOW HOW TO COMMUNICATE AS AN INDIVIDUAL IN ANY KIND OF PROFFIONAL MANNER!!!

Its really shameful that kids clubhouse decided to create a fake review in response to my original post rather than addressing the problem. They refused to let me see my son and lied about some mysterious court document that they claim said that I (the legal custodian) could not see him. They lied and said I harassed them. They allowed my son to be bitten more than two times by a child in their care and never called a nurse. What a terrible company. If this is how they conduct business Im sure theyll be out of business soon enough.
