This is one of the most horrible schools in Hillsborough County! No one is professional, there are only a few teachers that REALLY care for and want to see the kids Excel. I wouldnt recommend this school to ANY PARENT that really want his/her child to learn. Everybody in the main office wants to be in CHARGE. I have NEVER met the principal. They dont release report cards to the students unless a parent come to conference (I work so I cant always make it to conference). I have yet to receive my kids report cards 😕. I just really really really dislike the fact that my kids have to attend this school. Im definitely looking into other options for schooling cause they are not learning at Sulphur Springs Elementary and the teachers dont make those kids feel like they can Excel. Thumbs down to this school (why make a school go from k-8? The kids definitely wont learn cause its just too many students which means the teachers cant give each student that one on one time that he/she may need in order to be successful. I think the ENTIRE staff should be fired and hire a new staff that knows how to keep it professional and really care about these kids succeeding in life.

This school is awesome!!! My 2 kids LOVE this school!!! We moved to West Tampa, and the kids were very upset that they could not continue coming to this school. They beg me every day to move back to Sulphur Springs!!! SULPHUR SPRINGS ELEMENTARY ROCKS!!! Keep up the good work!!! My kids will be back soon!!!

Nothing, I felt like my son was in jail.. I think this the only school you cant eat lunch or breakfast with your child, walk him to class or volunteer.. they suspended for anything and even give you a report that look like a record.. Im so glad my child no longer go there.. worse school ever

Only middle school kids get to eat hot breakfast while the elementary students have to eat a cold breakfast this is every day I dont know why they do this. And the ap said the hot breakfast is microwave pancakes I cant believe how ridiculous this school is

Very very bad school. None of the teachers or staff or anyone that works at this school care about what happens to your child. My child was released to a after school party alone WiTHOUT my permission or consent so basically they just made it seem like oh well just deal with it. And i was in the office when the wrong little girl was handed over to this guy who was there to pick up another little girl. Real talk everyone reading this run very fast away from this area this school is not a place you can comfortably leave your child at next year if i have to move to avoid this school then so be it!!!

I have to say I just witnessed the most ridiculous thing ever. This little girl just took down the American flag with a grown male teacher who folded it into a ball instead of folding it properly like we were all taught in school as safety patrol that was your job why would this man take down this flag and disrespected by folding it into a ball?

I see everyone thinks this school is horrible now. It wasnt when I went there. Use to be up to 8th grade, my brother graduated from 8th there (when they still had that type of program). My favorite teacher, ever, was there, Mrs Miner (49er). She was caring, took time with you, and gave you the dickens when you were bad. Course that was also when Florida still had mostly all Floridians! Before the northern migration. Even when I left for college Tampa was still shy of 1,000,000 people. The beach was still Crystal clear, the lakes had water, and we still swam in the big pool at Sulphur Springs. Wonder what happened to North Blvd Rec Center? Any way, time marches on, schools go to ???, new ones are built and lakes disappear. We call it progress? Hmmm.

This is the worst school sulphur spring i had five grandkids attened that terrible school.and child is austim and got bully around all the time thank god all of my grandkids is out of that school.

My child went there for a year. Worse school ever,last year at her new school(thank you school choice)ran into her old teacher. She doesnt even,send her own child to this school who is assigned to it also. Yeah,that says a lot!

My kids never went there but the things that go on in that school is ridiculous and now the say there going to be a k-8 school unsafe for the elementary kids to attend school with middle school kids this is not when I was coming up I Praying for Change and I hope they have metal detectors and police on campus
