This school provides a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout the 7 grade levels. It does a great job of fostering community within the student body and outside in the community at large through regular philanthropic events. The teachers want to see their students succeed and make themselves available to students to provide one-on-one support as needed. Personally, I love that it is considered cool to work hard and do your best. Tampa Prep has helped my son become more confident and self assured, and helped him stretch outside his comfort zone via public speaking opportunities and through playing in band. The school also provides field trips to encourage experiential learning and reinforcing current content. My son looks forward to going to school.

A true college preparatory school. Great education within a supportive, nurturing environment. My kids love going to school here. The middle school faculty and administration are awesome! They guide the kids through what can be a tricky transition from elementary school into middle school. Very supportive and nurturing. The high school provides a rigorous academic program coupled with a variety of clubs, sports and other groups the students can participate in.They also take college counseling very seriously and provide a strong team to assist students and parents through the process.

I attended the school the first 2 years of its existence and knew from the very first year that the methods and perspective would produce some excellent results with many who have the privilege to attend. True as one comment states, it is very expensive, and that goes beyond tuition. We can only hope the children of the wealthy parents dont spoil... but instead see the investment their parents are making and the honor of the opportunity.

Excellent school that challenges and supports students every step of the way. Everyone (teachers, admin, front desk, custodians - everyone!) goes out of their way to make you feel welcome.Love the fact that they value collaboration and growth over competition. Both of my kids tried sports they had never played before because they were encouraged to take a risk and Go Beyond!Yes, the academics are rigorous, but help is always available. My son is breezing through college due to the strong foundation he built at Prep. Couldnt be happier here!

I am 2011 Graduate! As I reflect through the years. I will say this much, this school prepares you for college, and the real world! I can say without their fine education, I would not be opening a start-up, less than a mile away!

TP truly prepared me to excel in college. When I got to UGA, classes felt easy, I was so far ahead of my peers in my ability to study, organize an essay, communicate ideas and think critically.I was a D1 athlete and many of my teammates were overwhelmed when they got to college. Thanks to TP, I had all the skills I needed to balance the demands of being an NCAA student athlete.

Good education and teachers. If your child plays sports....go somewhere else. The school is no longer concerned with being competitive. Headmaster is just a talking head....Not involved in everyday operation of the school.

I did a shadow there. One of the things I liked were how the chairs were very moveable. The students were very welcoming for example this one girl said with a smile said welcome to Tampa prep! I like how the kids know how to order online with their iPads! In one class the girl who shadowed me had a test so the teacher was very nice and let me played some games on her iPad.I know its a very expensive school but it seems worth it. (:

Liked almost everything about the campus Except for a few things and these things were critical. One of the staff members ticked me. The prinicpal is on the plus side though. The problem is that The school is so expensive and it is very open security-wise which could lead to other things.... The school itself didnt seem very welcoming nor did the kids seem very welcoming So this is why i am rating this school a 1/5
