My son started taking classes at 5 years old and has now been taking night classes, summer camp, and after school for 3 years. He absolutely loves coming here and loves the kyosah-nim’s. His home away from home. This place is amazing!

I was first introduced to the Traditional Tae Kwon-Do Center of South Tampa by a friend who has been coming to the center for sometime now. I was initially skeptical at first just because i dont typically venture out of my comfort zone, but i soon found my home away from home. The team has been incredible and really made me feel at home. It has been a refreshing experience to see a team so upbeat, passionate, focused, and concerned for everyones safety and success as i have not seen that in sometime now. I am so great full that I have great friends willing to push me out of my comfort zone and try new things. I am exceptionally great full to the team at Traditional Tae Kwon-Do Center of South Tampa for helping me feel happy and excited in todays uncertain world. Best summer camp ever sadly me and my brother couldn’t go this summer but we would try to go this summer coming soon, and I’m definitely ready to try and get my yellow belt!!! I made so many friends and I can’t wait to see some of them again and go on the the great field tips.😊

My son started in their summer camp program with no prior taekwondo experience. He absolutely loved it! We now have him enrolled in evening classes and he has even more passion for learning this art. Its a phenomenal program with skilled instructors who are dedicated to their craft. Kids are engaged, challenged and motivated! Highly recommended!

I am super super happy with this whole traditional taekwondo staff from after school care to summer camp they are amazing they always have smiles on their faces they go above and beyond to help no matter what the situation my daughter has been going here since kindergarten she’s now going to fifth grade and from the very beginning from Miss Traci making a spot for my child due to the circumstances and even now making accommodations so that my daughter can continue to be a part of traditional tae kwon do is beyond amazing. The staff is always happy and willing to help. They always push these children to do their best even when a child is doubting themselves, I have personally seen these instructors give them such confidence that it’s amazing. I would not trust my child to anyone else. They deserve more than 5 ⭐️ stars.

Traci and the team are amazing! I started with their summer camp and my son and I loved it so much that I kept him there for the after school care. Super professional and fun for the kids and the martial arts training is first rate!!!They also do military discount!

My sons, Patrick and Logan, go to the after school program and absolutely love it! My husband and I believe that they get so much out of the program including discipline, responsibility and fitness. The instructors at the school are so dedicated and caring towards the children and we have so much respect for all of them. The owner, Traci, has been so wonderful to work with and she is a great influence on the children.We also sent the boys and our daughter to the camp in the summer and they had a great time on field trips as well as participating in Taekwondo and continued discipline. Our son has enjoyed all of the programs at Traditional Taekwondo Center of South Tampa. He has become more focused on every aspect of his young life. I have 2 girls that go to the after school program and absolutely love it, so much they don’t want me to pick them up early. Tracy and her team are all fantastic with the kids. They learn the skills of taekwondo, they teach the kids to be respectful, and have discipline. The kids also have a lot fun with many different activities and camps when school is closed. Traditional Taekwondo South Tampa is an incredible place. My children attend the after school program. They learn so many important life lessons and are treated with tremendous respect. It is a place for positive results and character building. The staff is very motivated, highly trained and inspiring! Highly recommend all classes including adult instruction.

We have been sending our boys here for almost two years, and have been very pleased with the program! The instructors focus on positive energy, but are firm. The kids love Ms Melissa and Mr Wingo. The owner Ms Traci is warm and attentive and treats everyone like family. The tenants have become a part of our everyday life, and we reinforce, not just knowing them....but also living up to them. Thank you for providing a wonderful environment, that is safe and fun, yet provides the discipline and structure all children need to be strong and productive in life. Great job!

I called to get a refund on a double charge in a small amount. Not a problem; easy mistake. My son was attending summer camp, and we were double charged for a small add on. I received an email back stating that the owner just doesn’t understand what I’m talking about. Then she charges me AGAIN for an additional week of camp, a much larger amount, for a week of camp that we did NOT attend. In my opinion that is very bad business and poor customer service. I don’t want my son participating in classes where the main focus is haphazard revenue that isn’t even correct. The focus should be class content and customer service.

This school truly stands behind what TRADITIONAL tae kwon do is about. They dont just hand out belts to make money. They teach tradition! The instructors are knowledgeable black belts and always teach with smile on their face. As a matter of fact you will always see all the staff smiling and you can just feel how everyone truly cares about all the kids.

Our daughter has matured leaps and bounds since starting here 2 years ago. She started off shy, but she has really opened up while training. This has helped her out of her shell in school and out in public. Shes proud of her achievements and we are pleased with the results.

Taekwondo is amazing. They train my kids the best of the best. The owner Traci is very sweet and kind . It’s very professional atmosphere and dedicated employees to help in the kids .

My kids attend the after school care program and are really impressed with the facility, instructors and the individualized attention the kids receive. My son Max started last week and he loves it. He says all the instructors are great! I was a little concerned because he had been going to a great after school program in Apollo Beach that he really liked, but he has fit in quite well. I am very pleased.

As part of an abroad trainingscamp we visited some lessons led by Master Brunner. We loved his teaching style and were looking forward to visit him to his 25th anniversary again.

My boys have been coming here for evening classes and after school care for years. The taekwondo classes are great and the staff is excellent.

My children have been going to the afterschool program or summer classes for a year. They love it! Traci, the owner, is wonderful! Melissa works so well with the kids. All the instructors are excellent. I love that the children are learning taekwondo, which is beneficial in many other areas of their lives. I really cant say enough good things about this center!

My son had been at traditional Tae Kwon-Do in South Tampa for almost 4 years. In addition to the Tae Know-Do - they have helped him learn to be respectful, disciplined and goal oriented.

My son Peyton has been going to TKD Center South Tampas after school program for about a year now and he loves it! I have to say when he shows me what hes learned Im always impressed. Tracy and the entire staff at the center are friendly and fantastic. Wingo and Melissa do an awesome job interacting with the kids, Lucas keeps them focused. Instilling discipline and respect gets harder every day in our modern society. The center is great it! This was one of the best decisions we couldve made for Peyton!

I enrolled my son for summer camp with NO previous experience in tae kwon do. In just the summer alone my son gained confidence and feels secure in his ability to protect himself if need be. He absolutely loved the staff, the field trips, and the tae kwon do principles. He practiced all the time and wanted everyone to fake hit him so he could show his self defense skills. He is very proud of himself and hes a new kid!! Thanks so much hell be back next summer!

I absolutely love this place. They have immensely assisted in the behavioral development of my son. He has ADHD and was having some behavior issues at school and home., We discussed with my sons pediatrician what route to take and she suggested to take our son to Tae Kwon Do. We enrolled our son shortly after that and ever since he has been a completely different child.He is excelling in school, he has won 3 awards at school and we only halfway through the school year. His behavior is so much better he is starting to maintain self control. My husband and I have also flourished in our relationship due to a lot less tension due to our sons behavior. The instructors are amazing. the Owner is accomadating. Pricing is very reasonable there is absolutely no reason parents should not invest in their childrens future by means of Traditional Tae Kwon Do of South Tampa. I cant say enough positive things about this place and the positive impacts that have been bestowed on my family and my son. I am forever grateful to the center for assisting in our sons development.

We joined my son Chase L. 2 weeks ago for the afterschool program and he loves it. Everyday I ask how was TaeKwondo and he says great. The first time I met Traci the owner I was very impressed by her enthusiam and passion for her business. I liked that they have the kids do there homework, teach true Martial Arts, have fun activities and burn there energy. I feel this will help my son grow to be a better person and have more confidence. He has learned alot in just 2 short weeks. So far I would recommend this true Marital Arts Center for your kids. Very clean and organized place. I feel safe leaving my child there.

My name is Lulu, I am 13 years old. I have been doing tae kwon do at Traditional Tae Kwon do of South Tampa since it has opened. I am currently a blue belt and have work very hard to acheive that rank. I have already experienced some amazing things while being at this school. I have trained with people and made a lot of new friends. I have also recently been over seas in Germany and Egypt to experience a once in a life time journey at an international camp, all while training to improve my skills. This school also has an exceptional after school program. The staff of instructors keep the fun lasting, until their parents come, all while teaching self discipline. The tae kwon do school has an yearly summer camp that keeps the kids busy and entertained while giving the adults free time to get things done for the next year! Over all my experience with this studio has been fantastic and I really enjoy the hard work and dedication that I have learned over the past 3 years. Its a 5 star school and I would really recommend this Tae Kwon Do studio for all ages.
