Since day one, when Good Samaritan opened its doors they have been nothing but caring, supportive and loving towards my kids and every kid in their care. The amount of time that each teacher spends with the kids on a daily basis shows how much they really care. The teachers are there before and after their scheduled shifts making sure that they have all the necessary things in their classroom. The directors at Good Sam care about each and every kid just like they are their own. Always happy and eager to help make sure each child is taken care of and learns how to be wonderful outstanding children of God!

All three of my babies have attended or graduated from GSA. We consider the teachers and administration an extension of our family. My kids have always been loved and cared for. My youngest asks to go to school on her days off. That says a lot! Thanks Good Sam for loving my babies!

If I ask questions about the care of my child a good child Care center would not have an issue with answering or clarifying the situation. If you are a parent who cares about their child especially one who is not yet of age to tell you about their day, then keep looking because this isnt the place. Child care facilities are supposed to be accountable, trust worthy, and have good communication with parents. Good Samaritan Academy is none of those.

I worked part time at Good Samaritan Academy for almost 6 years and I floated amongst all of the rooms! The staff at GSA are genuine, kind, and compassionate people that make everything they do about the kids! Finding trustworthy people and good quality care for your children is difficult, but GSA provides just that! Love my GSA family

My son has been attending Good Samaritan Academy since August of 2016. He started in the infant room with Ms. Leah, who is WONDERFUL, CARING, AND ATTENTIVE. My son is now in the 2 year old room but will insist on visiting Ms. Leah and gives her a hug every single morning. I trust Ms. Leah and the ENTIRE staff at Good Samaritan Academy 100% with my child. Also, the directors go above and beyond and are kind, non discriminating professionals. I can’t speak enough positive and good things about them AND Ms. Leah and Ms. Shauntaye and the entire staff. Incredible people, amazing center. Always remember when reading reviews.... There are TWO sides to every story. And I can guaruantee that this preschool will continue to prosper and spread love and growth to the community.

My nephew was kicked out of this day care recently. My sister is a very concerned parent who inquires daily Abt the well-being of her child. Owners said she began to ask to many questions and informed my sister she will have to find another facility for my nephew to attend.

It’s mighty funny how people want to get on here and start commenting about this daycare and how they are all oh so good. This daycare is full of it. This daycare has no compassion about your child Leah (the teacher), Melissa (business administration) need to find another job because obviously child care is not for them. If I pick my child up from daycare and he has poop all over his clothes or pee all over his clothes questions will be asked simple as that and if nobody has answers to why my child looks like this that is a problem. We as parents will make sure our child is in the best care and not being neglected. We also packed a certain amount of diapers a day to see if he is being changed the amount of times they are saying he is being changed. If we pack 10 diapers and Leah is saying and has listed on the sheet he was changed 4 times then it should be 6 diapers left. Numerous of times numbers didn’t add up. Either Leah can’t count or she was falsifying documents and neglecting our child. So yeah it’s always 2 sides to a story and we as parents are not going to just bring things up just because especially if they were doing their job. Do your job questions won’t be asked. Melissa the so called business administrator specifically said our child wasn’t a good fit because as parents we ask too many questions and other parents don’t ask questions. To my knowledge any concerned parent would ask questions. If your looking for a good daycare. THIS IS NOT THE PLACE. Thankfully by the grace of God we found a better daycare with a new facility, new beds, and new toys and the teachers have great communication skills and very loving not only to our child but the other children as well. We see a big difference. God always look out for his children. God is good all the time.Again after reading this we hope y’all make the best decision for your child as our children are the new generation. God Bless

Child started Sep 2018 and child was discriminated because my fiancé and I inquired about several incidents involving his care. My child came home with several unexplained accidents. True enough kids have accidents however, I questioned why his entire shirt was soaked with urine. Leah the infant teacher replied she didn’t know. After the second incident of bowel on his shorts and shirt I voiced my concern to Dawn the director. Only explanation she gave as a director was I don’t know. No follow up, no compassion, or concern. On several occasions his clothes and bottles got mixed up with other staff even after from day 1 was labeled. The next incident that came up was I pack his bag daily knowing how many diapers are in daily. The staff falsified the number of diaper changes which didn’t add up to the number I left. After second incident thinking first was careless mistake Dawn said it made no sense and very next day the business administrator Melissa called at 12 pm to say he can no longer attend because we question them and other parents don’t. As a parent if something concerns you, you shouldn’t have be discriminated on a kicked out for asking questions. I paid $1,000 month in childcare I expect my child not to be left in feces and urine. Not to mention everytime I picked him up he was in a swing sleep. Not once was he in his crib. Lazy staff! Amanda and Dawn as directors are unprofessional. I’m filing a complaint with DCF to investigate. Save yourself the hassle and putting your child in here. They claim be a God based church but are hypocrites to their belief. I have pictures I’m submitting to DCF.The Apple accreditation is now assigned to investigate this building. In addition to them knowing they provided poor care to my child they offered to clear my balance when I notified them I will be following up with reporting them for child negligence and discrimination. A daycare that fears the truth to get out. If they’ll do it to my family they’ll do it to another. If your parent who doesn’t ask questions and drops your child off and leave then this daycares for you! Only possible way you’ll be happy with infant room!!!To respond to the previous reviewer Mrs Leah and Ms Shaunte have no idea of what’s going on in this room. If only pictures could be uploaded to these reviews.
