Great atmosphere, great teachers. Very convenient afterschool program, with a van pick up from area schools, taekwondo lesson while in afterschool, homework time, etc. This way kids are guaranteed to get their workouts a few times a week while you are at work, and it doesnt cut into your evening and into family time.

Master Chad is amazing!

Ive been a student here for over a year now and have absolutely loved it! The instructors are incredible at what they do. The curriculum is also incredible. They teach you something new every cycle so you can continue to hone your skills. I 10/10 would recomend this place if your looking for a martial arts studio.

I cant say enough amazing things about this academy. Im taking the kickboxing class. They offer a week free trial for it which I fell in love with. The instructor Chad is friendly, motivating, knowledgeable and understanding. Even the other people taking the class are extremely friendly and encouraging. Great atmosphere! Im a beginner, very out of shape and overweight and Im excited to come to class every week (which is saying something because I hate working out). You do what you can of the exercises and as many reps as possible and keep it moving. Ive felt no pressure to sign up and theres a monthly cost for the class but its month to month, nothing under contract. Any level of experience, you will feel challenged. The class is Monday and Wednesday and I only wish it was offered more during the week :)

They have a wonderful program for after school as well as adult classes. The whole family enjoys going! The friendly environment makes you feel like you are apart of a family which reassures me my son is good hands. We have enjoyed going now for years and have nothing but great things to share about the staff as well as the programs they offer.

My son has been a student there for over two years and he loves it! The entire staff is friendly, personable, and professional. The after school program is outstanding. All the teachers go the extra mile to personally help my son attain his goals. With three children in a variety of extra curricular activities, I can easily say this is the best facility/program that I have experienced.

Our entire family has participated at varying times in the Martial Arts Fitness Academy. The staff are very knowledgeable, kind, and positive. Our childrens self-control, confidence, and focus increased with this activity. I would highly recommend the Martial Arts Fitness Academy to a parent looking for an activity for their child, or an adult looking for a physical fitness program.

The instructors there are very knowledgeable and supportive of all of the children that attend there. They give 110% every time my son is in the Tae Kwon Do class there and they treat you like family.They are all hands on when it comes to questions or concerns about the program and how well or bad your child is advancing. They want to know how they can help better and make your child feel very secure in their achievements.I recommend this Martial Arts Academy over any other ones in town because they are not just there to take your money. They genuinely care about the knowledge and security that each child feels. Excellent place for your child to excel and have respect for adults and themselves.

Master wilburt is an amazing teacher take it from experience.He turned me from a tiny shy white belt to a strong powerful black belt. Hes a pure genius take it from me

Having no history in this arena, HaganaH & Kickboxing was a great way for me to break into the martial arts world. The staff is always encouraging, friendly, and patient. New facilities. Looking forward to signing up the kids for TKD.

When I walked into Martial Arts Fitness Academy as an adult in April of 2010, I had never taken a martial arts class before in my life or even considered myself to be athletic. I ended up taking kickboxing for two years and Haganah for about a year. The only reason I stopped attending classes at MAFA was because I moved to another city for a new job.I loved how positive and encouraging everyone was to each other - both the instructors AND the students. At MAFA, no one judges if you can do 1 push-up or 100, as long as you try your hardest. The instructors encouraged us to give 100%, but made individual accommodations so that the workouts pushed everyones abilities - whether you were a second degree black belt or a beginner.It wasnt very long after taking kickboxing that I started to see results. I could open jars without the rubber grippy thing and my abs became rock hard. I wish I could find a place like MAFA in my new city.If youre looking for a positive, family-oriented place for a fun and effective workout, check out MAFA. You can thank me later. :)
