Our family was driving in the car yesterday (Sunday), when my 4 year old exclaimed out loud: I cant wait till tomorrow! None of us in the car could think of anything special/out of the ordinary happening on Monday, so we asked her: Whats happening tomorrow? To which she replied: School. I am so excited to go to school tomorrow! I love my teachers and friends and I love to learn! I dont think that there could be a better endorsement for a school, than the one that comes directly from a student. But as a parent, I can say that we toured many schools when we began our search and Lakeview Montessori School by far surpassed the rest. We chose the school for its warm, friendly, atmosphere and loving teachers. The ratios are small and that really appealed to us. The staff knows each child by name and also knows his/her strengths and weaknesses. This allows for teachable moments that are tailored to each student and follow Montessori principles. Thank you Lakeview Montessori School for taking such great care of our children and helping to develop them into caring members of society.

We love Lakeview Montessori on the Hill! It is a wonderful school with excellent teachers, staff, and director. They love the children and know the kids individually very well. The school does a wonderful job of preparing children in a number of ways. They help to build a strong sense of community, strong character skills, and academic preparation. They also have a good variety of foods to feed the children, which is very important to me. Ms. Clarissa, the director, has high and clear expectations which makes the school amazing. I highly recommend this school!

We love Lakeview Montessori! Our son started attending 18 months old (now 26 months) and we wouldnt take him anywhere else! The staff is caring and attentive. The Director knows each child personally. At Lakeview and as part of the Montessori method, each child is observed closely and the staff is dedicated to building upon their strengths and interests while introducing and building new skills. They have also given us lots of advice and resources to help us parent our unique child. Our son now shows care for his environment and a love of learning. We cant wait to see how he continues to progress at Lakeview Montessori!

I absolutely love this school! Both of my children have attended this school starting at the age of 18 months. My youngest one is still there. My oldest has of course moved on, but he still raves about how great this school was when he was there. The teachers and staff work well with the children and they love the children as if they were their own. I love that they are school first and then child care. The children are taught a great daily routine and an academic/ work ethic which is proven beneficial as our children prepare to transition to public school. I totally recommend this school!

My son started when he was 18 months. He is now 2 years and 9 months. The staff and school director are wonderful. They really take the time to get to know your child. They have helped me work through my sons most challenging behaviors. The staff and director alike have provided me with a wealth of information about his developmental milestones. Moreover, the teacher to student ratio is low, which is something that is important to us. The facility is always clean and the staff is always on task, even when you stop by unannounced. Additionally, students eat a wide range of foods that have been carefully selected by Ms. Clarissa, the school director. They are constantly being introduced to new foods as well. I greatly appreciate this because it allows your child to develop an eclectic taste and, therefore, eliminates the stereotypical picky toddler scenarios in personal and public spaces. He is willing to try everything!I truly feel that we are a team working towards the life-long success of my child. He always has exciting stories to tell me about his day. All in all, I know that we have chosen a great school every time I see my sons happy face upon pick up.

I visited 3 other school in the area and immediately when I walked in I knew this was the best fit for our family. Clarissa has a hear of a mother and I love that my kids are at home when they are there. We started summer of 2017 and I have been pleased the entire time. Safe, fun, loving, and many opportunities to learn.

My son has been attending Lakeview Montessori for nearly 7 months and it has been an all around great experience! He enjoys going to school each day and has learned so much. As a first time parent, looking for a school was a bit daunting but after looking at several in the area we knew this was the one. The environment is very welcoming and nurturing. The staff and director take a personal interest in each child and communication is always open and easy. I would definitely recommend this place!

My son attended Lakeview Montessori for about 3 years. Were leaving this year so he can start kindergarten. Lakeview has prepared him so well for kindergarten... reading, writing, simple math, and that fire to learn! This is truly a great school with some amazing staff members!!

I cannot say enough fantastic things about the school. Whether it be the cleanliness of the school, the way the rooms are setup to engage the children, how the staff interacts with the kids or how the director is always overseeing everything that goes on, Lakeview manages to consistently exceed my expectations, which are very high.I have never seen a school where they are so involved. I swear, they all love the kids like they would their own family. All of the women working there have been there for YEARS!I tell everyone I meet about the school. It just doesn’t get any better than Lakeview Montessori.

This is the best school you will ever find. Teachers treat kids with respect and love, and you can actually feel that they care and love your kids. All kids enrolled are very good as well. The owner of the school teaches as well and set the learning and respectful mood of the school.

My children started at Lakeview Montessori about five months ago. Both children have grown tremendously!! They are so happy to go to school everyday and I am happy to send them. The staff is so warm and genuinely care for each child. Wouldnt consider taking my children anywhere else!

I agree with all the comments. I am a vendor and do a bookfair with this school every year. they never know when I am going to drop bye and I get to see their actions with kids everyday and they dont have to please me. if I lived close, I would be sending my kids. I have a teacher background and I know these teachers are just the best because I see them in action.

Lakeview Montessori School is a wonderfully nurturing environment and was an instrumental part of my familys life for the past 11 years. The school director and teachers are all the best in the business and many have been there for several years or more. You will never wonder if your child is being cared for and loved when they are at LMS. We also met other amazing LMS families that we still keep in touch with today!

It is a really lovely school for kids. Responsible director and excellent teachers. Its a small school but it is wonderful and like a family.

My son has been there for 2 years, it’s a small but cozy school, the teachers are nice and love the kids, we can see the kids are active and happy there.

I cant say enough about this school. BEST school Ive seen. My son started there when he was 3, slow in talking. And the nurturing environment has gotten him to be very expressive verbally and hes excelling in language and math...hes only 5 years old, hasnt started kindergarten yet but is reading at 2nd grade level and he is doing multiplication and division! This montessori definitely has brought out the best in him and he loves to learn, which is the most important thing!

When I first contacted LMS to see if it was a good fit for my daughter who at the time was less than 18 months, Clarissa and the staff were extremely helpful and transparent about the school, their ways of working and how they integrate their Montessori philosophy into the core of the school. Having gone through Montessori myself and having my mother as a seasoned Montessori teacher, I would say I am more informed than the average parent about the teaching methods and philosophy. I was pleased to see that even at the toddler level, there class is full of Montessori materials. This was not the case in all the schools I visited.I was worried that my daughter may have a difficult time adjusting to the school environment as she had been with a nanny since infancy. She transitioned beautifully. Largely in part due to the amazing staff at this school and the attention they place to both the parents and childs needs.Now that my daughter has been there well over a year, I know 100% I made the right choice. This school is perfect for us and we cannot say enough great things about all the teachers, and the owner. We love LMS!

Our daughter had been cared for by a nanny until we decided to enroll her in school the year prior to her having to attend Kindergarten. We did as much homework in our search for a pre-school program as we did for finding the right nanny. Lakeview Montessori on the Hill and their wonderful staff made the transition for both us and our daughter a pleasant one. Their patience and understanding with our daughter in helping her switch from a nanny and home environment, to a classroom setting was remarkable.In regards to their education techniques, it gets even better! She learned so much in her first two months there, and she continues to excel every day. I also love that they incorporate a little foreign language in their curriculum.
