The Rock 101 and 201 programs are a very good fit for our son. He has always had in interest in music and we wanted to expose him to participating with a group and to have the experience of coordinating his talent to play with those who are playing other instruments. He is always excited to attend his group lessons and always talks about participating in the concerts. His instructors are patient and challenge him with different levels of music. He never ceases to surprise us during the performances that School of Rock consistently schedules. We look forward to witnessing his continued growth.

I cannot recommend this school highly enough.. We all know that music is good for the soul. The owners and instructors at SOR are so passionate about music and helping these students grow as young artists. They do an amazing job of introducing the students to different genres of music, different instruments, and allowing them to grow in areas that they enjoy. It is such a positive environment. Not only do students get to learn music themselves,, being in a band teaches the students how to work with others, which means learning how to build relationships and friendships, etc. It’s a safe place where everybody belongs. All of these things help to develop self-confidence in the students. That confidence not only shows in the way they perform, but in the way they handle life outside of SOR.

We’ve been at the sugar land location for almost a year now and we love it. The entire staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Moby is amazing with my son who is really hard to keep focused. But he does great and my son (6yrs) is progressing nicely on the drums! He loves going and practicing at home now.

Great place to learn to play guitar. Fantastic bunch of people from the front desk to the head man. If you have ever wondered....Can I do that? You can at SOR Sugar Land.

We came for a free 30 minute session/consultation for my son. I believe this is a good place and the purpose is amazing. I strongly feel that the session was rushed and not as much info or in depth teaching was done. The instructor wasnt bad but towards the end I can tell that he was ready do go for the day (after the session he did leave for the night). I feel the company should work on a more effective and dedicating method on gaining new clients/students. Because of this I will not sign up and be looking for other schools or lessons for my son. I understand it may have not been intentionally done but the company should come up with a more effective method & focus on proving why we should choose this school more teaching would be good.

Couldnt ask for a better group of leaders. My son loves it. Theyve taught him 2 instruments so far, and he plans to learn more. Exceeds my expectations at every turn.

My girls are taking online classes due to Covid and are enjoying it. The teachers and the office staff are very professional.

I enrolled and was so impressed with the results, I enrolled my son.The staff are stellar musicians with knowledge of theory and years of experience performing on stage. It’s rare to see musicians so skilled find the patience to teach the fundamentals.Learning the guitar has not been easy, but it has been fun.

It looks like School of Rock teaches music, but theyre really teaching Life Skills and Leadership. Since its Performance Based students get Confidence from being up on stage, in front of cheering fans. That helps create a positive self image and leadership skills that can last a Lifetime.

We love the environment, friendly, and experienced teachers and staff. Receiving after-session report is a great method for us to follow up with our student progress in School of Rock program. Thank you for offering your best to our community and young adults.

Really helpful staff, made me feel comfortable about signing up for vocal lessons. My first one is next week and Im pretty excited to start. If you enjoy music and want to learn an instrument, this place will definitely be the right fit.

I like that the kids learn how to perform in a band and that the teachers are very knowledgeable. They teach my son amazing songs that are fun to play but they break it down to the level my son is currently able to play.

My daughter had a lot of fun and the staff really worked with her on her desired learning path (vocals) instead of just pushing her into something she already knew (guitar). They were extra awesome about her food allergies to boot, making the whole week of camp a real win!

The instructors are great both my children look forward to going every week. Theyve learned so much.
